Well, consider the following.

The next Smash will most likely be a hard reboot of the franchise with overhauled gameplay and just a much different feel to the Smash we know of today. I'm also willing to bet the roster will cap of at 30 or 40 characters as well and will mostly feature veterans.
So unless you're one of the Original 12 (and poor :ultjigglypuff: isn't immune mind you, possibly even :ultfalcon::ultness: as well), :ultmarth:,:ultpit:,:ultinkling:, someone from a big, notable Nintendo franchise (i.e. your :ultpeach::ultzelda::ultbowser::ultganondorf: 's of the world), then your spot in Smash is in jeopardy with roster cuts like that. And that goes double for characters from smaller, lesser known series unless "muh relevancy" comes in to play for them. Newcomes will be primarily characters coming from new IP's with little room for popular characters.
I think that's a pretty likely scenario, though I don't see Pit quite as a lock. I see the roster being around 30 characters, myself. Even then, there's still room for newcomers.

For existing series in Smash, look at Fire Emblem. I see the series with possibly just Marth. If it had one more, than the second could be either Ike, Robin, or Lyn if Sakurai opted for a newcomer. Same applies to other series.

As for characters from older series being added, probably wouldn't happen with a 30 character roster. A roster that size would really just be the Nintendo essentials. Around 40+ is when the door would begin to open.

Depending on who is chosen, I wouldn't mind the roster be rebooted. Then, just rebuild from there with a mix of returning veterans and newcomers with DLC or in the next games.

I have to disagree.

:> Midna is the best one of all.
Agreed.

Linebeck is minimum top five, though.

Nah. It's Groose.

No joke, his arc is incredible.
Think Midna still wins this, but Groose is also top 5.

I'm a little late to this conversation, but the first Zelda game that I played was Phantom Hourglass, although Ocarina of Time was the first Zelda game that I had managed to finish (I still haven't finished PH to this day, mostly because I don't know where my copy of the game is).

On another note, I started school yesterday, and today was my first full day of school for the year. So far, my classes seem pretty okay and my teachers are pretty nice. Although, it does feel a little weird having more than 2 hours of free time after school, considering how little free time I had during the previous school year. Granted, it's only the first week, but still.

Drawing dynamic poses is fun, but I always got to work out the kinks overtime.

Also, I would ask if any of you played Strider 2014? It's a good MetroidVania style game.

Though I wish there was more generic term for those games. Exploration Platformer? I don't know.

The term Metroidvania has always been kinda weird to me since both those games are rather different outside of having a big world you explore and open up as you go along.

Like Metroid feels kinda like Zelda where you get permanent upgrades to move forward, while Castlevania games feel more in with an Action RPG.

Hollow Knight, for example, is a game that's way more Metroid than Castlevania in practice. As it's upgrade based.

Castlevania only really got into the Metroid-style gameplay with SotN. CVs 1, 3 and 4 were all linear.

I get what you mean, the CV stuff acts like equipment you can exchange while the Metroid games have all weapons build up to a specific set and all. I guess Strider falls more into the Metroid category in how the upgrades work.

Either way, I would recommend Strider 2014 again, great game.

The vinyl figure of Orville the Elephant from FNAF was scuffed when I received it! I almost considered sending it back because scuff marks really bother me

Until I read online you can remove them with an eraser. It did work

My school district just bamboozled my ****ing mind. Apparently every other Friday of the month is just going to be a half-day. I have no idea way. I'm not complaining because those are really just days off, but that's just dumb.
