TTG ain't that bad aside from the times it tries to take jabs at the fans who liked the previous show. If only because they do it kinda constantly (but I imagine they must get a ton of hate for the show in general so there's probably a catharsis factor for them there lol.)

But even then, it's still just a harmless show.

I don't mind TTG existing. There's far worse reboots out there.

But it's still a show that takes everything I enjoy from the original, such as overarching stories, story arcs, character depth, actual superhero stuff, serious moments, etc... then just casually throw it aside so all that's left is cartoony shenanigans with no coherence or logic.

I can't like a "reboot" that straight up removes everything I like from the original. I can tolerate its existence, but don't ask me to enjoy it because I have no reason to.

Then on top of that, CN really oversaturates it. Thankfully, I don't have CN, but if I did, this would straight up make me hate the show.

The Shock/Vilgax arc is pretty well made tbh.

The show is indeed low budget in terms of animation quality and lighthearted, but the writing is pretty competent.

Like, when I watched TTG on TV it wasn't that bad (Steven Universe is leagues upon leagues better, but you're not going to die watching TTG)

But holy HELL the oversaturation. Whenever I go to a place that has cable it's literally the entire Cartoon Network schedule with maybe one or two feature films that the channel has the license to peppered in.

That's. . .that's not OK. It's really not. In the slightest.

I don't have nostalgia for when "new episodes of cartoons aired." I lived off of reruns as a kid just fine. I have nostalgia for when they would run reruns of a wide spread of shows instead of literally just one.

You might as well rename Cartoon Network "Toon Titans Tower" because hell if it's anything else anymore.

So I went to the mall today and the arcade had something pretty cool:

A rhythm heaven arcade machine! I didn’t play it(I was trying to win a blue yoshi plus but failed) but it looked to be in Japanese and have several mini games. Which is pretty cool. I was surprised to see something so niche. I don’t know why the picture tilted itself though.
