Welp, just got back from the game store with my copy of Octopath Traveler! And also little story time because it was the first time this happened to me hahaha.
So I went to the store at 11:00 AM for me, and when I got there they told me they hadn't unpacked the games yet, so I had to wait until they could give me the game. Thankfully there was another lost soul wanting Octopath, so we both started chatting about gaming stuff (He told me that there were rumors about a Nintendo Direct on the 22 of July, first time hearing it, but he showed me the source, so that would be neat lol). Eventually, the shopkeeper joined the conversation too, and we ended up talking about so many damn things: why Golden Sun is the best game ever (Apparently, haven't played it myself), Monster Hunter World is nuts (Agreed), why everyone should play Xenoblade and Fire Emblem (Totally wasn't me the one who brought that up) and how good the new Smash is going to be. We talked a bit about Octopath too because the shop-keeper and I both played the demo, but the one guy was going completely blind so not much progress was made in that aspect hahaha.
One hour later, another shop-keeper came with the boxes, unpacked it, and we both happily purchased our game, followed by the second shop-keeper complaining to the first one because he always ended up talking with the costumers lol. And now I'm back at home with a new friend on the Nintendo Switch and a brand new game I'm really eager to play. Pretty cool stuff hahaha.
