maaaan i played some more Odyssey as I hadn't played it since November and even then I played just five hours of it

but am I the only one who vastly prefers Yooka Laylee over it? YL is an 11/10 game, honestly miles ahead of Odyssey. With YL the words feel so much full of life, they're so much more engaging, and even if there's more collectables per world (5 ghosts, 200 quills, 25 pagies, 1 atomic orb, etc.), they're actually fun to collect while collecting moons, after getting like 10 of them feels tedious in Odyssey. Not to mention how there's just so much more to do in each world in YL but in Odyssey there's not much to do at all.

IDK, I think that YL is just underrated and Odyssey is overrated. YL is the better game by faaaaaaaaar.

From a mod's perspective, having the text being unreadable due to being black-colored simply sends the wrong message. So there's no way I could tell without highlighting the post(which I wouldn't normally do) or quoting it(again, something I would have no reason to do).

It's easy for that to be missed. More or less, these types of things just make our jobs harder. But yeah, you can see the confusion. That said, a reminder isn't a bad thing for the forum anyway~

YL is easily one of the top 5 Switch games, along with Disgaea because it's really good too. YL and Disgaea are SO underrated, it's criminal.

I'd take YL over Odyssey any day, it is SO much better, SO much more fun, and SO much more engaging. YL 2 when?

YL is good from the start and stays good, shoot, it even gets better:

It takes forever for Odyssey to get good. And even when it does, it's not that good. (analogy; it takes forever for Beast to turn Human and when he does he's not even that good looking lol)
