I think this is the year of Smash. They need a big game and I don't think Animal Crossing is going to do it for them. Whenever the next big direct is when they'll announce it.

I personally think Labo will singlehandedly sell the 20 million units they plan to ship this year.

Their big game to sell those 20 million units doesn't have to be Smash. Honestly, Pokémon, Mario Maker, or a new 2D Mario are typically bigger system sellers than Smash if my memory serves correctly.
Smash sells phenomally, but not as much as Pokémon, 2D Mario, and Mario spin-offs.

I personally think it will be a couple of very big games as opposed to one, but they could be any of their big bombs that they haven't dropped yet.

Directs are usually on Thursdays apparently. Especially the second Thursday of the month, but it could be earlier. Hopefully it's earlier. I need that mega direct with Smash, Pokémon, Pikmin 4, Metroid Prime 4, a proper Paper Mario RPG, and Virtual Console launching immediately after the Direct with Mother 3 and the entire GameCube library.

I got a small handful of DBFZ matches. Didn't get to play too much, but I got to Namekian in an hour or two. I really wish I got hit the lab to get some timing down. I did win a good handful, but I was getting mopped as time went on. Need more time to get used to the game. I think my major issue is getting assists instead of changes, which got me kick around more than it needed to I feel.

But Gohan, Vegeta and Kid Buu are really fun characters. Kid Buu is probably my anchor character for the moment.

Update on Metal Gear Survive: it's fun. As Metal Gear gameplay tends to be. The game looks incredibly generic though. The menu, the enemies, the loadouts you can make, everything is just ok. The mechanics are relatively deep though. Side missions within missions, crafting uses a lot of the same components for weapons and fences.

I wish I could get a stand at the single player though. There is one! You just can't do it in the beta. Other than that. That games ok. Like it's only forty dollars so I'll probably pick it up to play around with it a little bit.

The game would be in a lot better position if what happened at Konami didn't happen and this was just a little spin-off to the Metal Gear games we know are coming but we don't know any are coming so it's in a rough position. Hopefully we'll get a proper Metal Gear, remake or otherwise, that can help me put faith back in Konami. Until then, I guess I'll just settle for this.

The Starter Support Pack is interesting, at the very least. I'm not buying it, definitely, it was €5 so that's about R$20 and not money I'm willing to spend in a F2P game.

I think the New Heroes Banner might be from Sacred Stones, we're getting two GHBs based on it and the TT seems to be based around it. Wouldn't mind if Joshua was rerun in the mini either as that'd mean I can get him to +3.
Special Heroes is likely CYL Round 2: Electric Boogaloo. Sword Hector here I come.
