I'm mostly self-taught. Been drawing since the dawn of Earth. I learn everything by myself as well as searching for tutorials. I've been interested in searching for anatomy guides but I can't find a good one to start with.

I see Spla2n is being hacked.

I'll just wait until the next Splatfest to hopefully see it gone (or as much as possible).

He just got the shaft in the 2nd season and became worthless.

I actually did a quick Google search and apparently these books are going around for $20-$40 USD. If I can get one of those books for a good price then I would def pick it up and learn as much as I can.

Things not loading sounds about what is is with my crummy computer. Can still move but no effects and character models dont load (even if the stage does)

It's why I dont play.

It's fine. It does more or less what it needed to. Consider it a palate cleanser after TLJ. It does nothing offensive but also doesn't really ever quite justify its own existence.

I assume you mean Overwatch. But anyway, are you simply in the tutorial that has you playing Soldier 76? If you are, once you get past the tutorial, you should be able to go in and play with all the features and characters. Also, one of the Arcade modes currently is Uprising, which is a PvE mode that uses Tracer, Mercy, Reinhardt and Torbjorn and that can help you get used to learning roles and teamwork.

On the note of.........uh, colored burgers, I know Burger King sold black whopper hamburgers fro Halloween a few years back. I wanted to try one just for fun, but ended up just getting a standard whopper burger instead. They ran out of the black Halloween burgers by the time I actually tried to get one.

I think that's kind of the issue my folks have with it. It's there, it exists, and it probably doesn't suck, but they don't understand why it needed to be made, either. They're not interested in seeing the film at all.

I've been considerably open to the idea of the movie myself, but at the same time I also rather agree that it wasn't a film that was necessary to make.

Force Awakens is good, Last Jedi is ****ing great and Rogue One was a bit of fresh air from the usual SW movies that I appreciate.
Don't really care for Solo, I wasn't a fan of the movie already when I initially heard of it and the trailers have made me anything but convinced. I'd like if the other Anthology movies worked with exoanded universe stuff, not just giving solo(ha!) movies to already existing characters. We could easily have had a Old Republic movie instead.

I'm saying that having seen it. I kept waiting for the movie to justify itself and it never did. It was just kind of there. Rogue One justified itself, and it's my least favorite of the whole series barring the travesty that is AotC. But you still left the theater going "ah, I see why they wanted to make this film."

Very, very mild spoilers for something everyone who likes Star Wars already full expects to be in the movie:

I figured Solo's justification would be the Han meets Lando, beats him at cards scene. But, oh boy did the movie drop the ball in that scene by not even attempting to explain the way the card game itself works. As an audience member there are zero stakes because it's a completely made up game and we have no idea what the rules are.

Even Casino Royale dedicated 30 seconds to teach the audience how poker is played, and that's a real thing that exists!

And yeah Dark Ura overstayed his course. People were getting sick an tired of him which is why he was written off the way he was.
