Nah. That was back in 2014, but after being part of the Smash speculation BS and other stuff, it made me realize it's not even worth it or something to even care about, Smash I mean. So, after that I decided to focus on Ridley as the character he is and the main series, same with Rayman.

Crash 1 is definitely the hardest but I never felt it was unfair (other than it having a wack difficulty curve) which was my main concern before jumping in. Every mistake, no matter how infuriating, felt like it was my own fault rather than the game's. Even with Stormy Ascent (and I'd still say The High Road was harder for me.)

Crash 2 has a much smoother level curve than the first one so it doesn't feel as hard until the endgame. Crash 3 on the other hand is a step down in difficulty overall, its a much easier game and its way more noticeable if you played the first two back to back.

Of all the Crash games I played I honestly think 2 was the hardest. People point to 1 being the most challenging but it never really gave me a hard challenge once I got the mechanics of that game straightened out.

The exception to this being Fumbling in the Dark. This mission is rage inducing as all hell with the perfectly timed jumps you have to do and doing it fast enough before your lighting goes out.

Slippery Climb wasn't hard but it's the bloody mini-game in that level that will screw you up because of how tricky it is. Granted when I re-do Crash levels I have all the boxes in mind when i'm completing the level. IIRC Stormy Ascent was the cut level so I never played that.

The High Road is actually really easy. That and it's counterpart Road to Nowhere. I always land the jumps perfectly.
