I'm not gonna go into a fiery debate over who's gear is the most fitting. I mean, Hyrule Warriors isn't even canon to begin with, so I feel they have that additional freedom to try out something new. And for what HW Ganondorf was? He was a really sick, fun character to play. I really don't believe OoT Ganondorf could of brought something just as awesome to the table. While I agree that HW Ganondorf goes above and beyond, I don't think its as bad as you make it sound.

But this is just my opinion on the entire thing.

Well, you can see in all the trailers and the poster that Thanos is just walking around in a wife beater and jeans, lol. It's why I didn't bother spoiler tagging it.

I'm actual a bit of hypocrite here because I'd've preferred Thanos stay decked out in his unnecessary but visually striking armor.

I'd like a Pokemon spinoff game where you raise Pokemon as pets. That's right, pets. We've had lots of Pokemon games in numerous concepts before but never game where you simply raise them as pets.

And there are quite a lot of Pokemon that would make great pets. The Pichu line for instance, as they could fill the pet mouse role in that game.

I was, and still am, a big supporter of the Female Link idea, but Linkle is not what I wanted. It's like a monkey's paw corrupted my wish for "literally Link but as a girl" and turned it into "cute little elf girl in thigh high boots."

I mean by the same merit you could say Link's basically a bishie in a tunic and spandex...

...if you'd only seen him the once.

Both characterization and style would likely evolve with use. Even setting aside Link himself, we've got examples of that exact concept throughout the supporting cast - Zelda, Impa, and Ganon, of course, but consider the Gorons, Zora, or Great Fairies. Wizzro actually fits here somewhat too, as an evolution of the Wizzrobe enemy, which has itself seen more radical shakeups than most everything else here. Hell, even Tingle's shifted up a bit (albeit to something even more unsettling).

Basically, she remains untapped potential. The coal the Linkle hype train really needs is just exploration of the concept, with more appearances than in a side-story of a spinoff game.

But with Wizzro you'd hardly notice. So he's got that going for him.

I'll admit his characterization is rather lacking, as much as I find his personality to be fun. So if he were just a boss without any of that characterization, yeah, I suppose there ultimately wouldn't be too much of a difference.

Shame, too, because I find Volga and Cia genuinely interesting as characters. Seeing any of these characters have their stories and personalities expanded upon in, say, a mainline Zelda game, would make me pretty happy, unlikely as it may be.

Reason should change is that he's essentially a discount version of . Slower ground speed, slower air speed, shorter jumps, and slower attacks. Two things Ganondorf has more of are weight and power, but it doesn't mean much when Falcon is fairly heavy and strong himself.

I view Linkle as her own character inspired by Link rather than "female Link". If that's what people were looking for, she definitely isn't it.

I still want to see more of her though. Probably won't happen because she wasn't a Nintendo-created character.

I think I like the way Linkle is portrayed better than just being, "Link but a woman"...

It literally feels so lazy to just make a female Link and call it a day when you could actually make her into her own character, and give her a backstory that at least justifies why she's essentially a female Link...Which is exactly what happened with Linkle...

I know the characterization of Link is made up of several iterations, but the idea of making Link female always felt way too forced for the sake of diversity...
As far as female protagonists go in the Zelda series, give Zelda herself the chance rather than just a genderswap...

I'll give Wizzro grief (mostly for the shiggles, even if his characterization's flat he accomplishes what he needs to and he's pretty fun to watch) but I'd love seeing almost any of them hit a mainline game. Volga in particular would make an excellent dragon, wordplay aside.

The only one I think I'd kinda shrug at would be Cia/Lana. They're a little bland to me, but that's not the issue - it's that HW is strongly their story, and it feels like their arc basically resolved. In a different example, I love Midna as a character, but her arc came and closed; it'd be very difficult for me to think of how you'd narratively justify another adventure with her outside of the canon-warping shenanigans of a spinoff like HW.

Meanwhile the other OCs from HW seem largely unexplored. We could pull some **** there.

I am trying to get one as a starter and I CAN NOT.

It's got a 1/81xx chance to just get a shiny. You can lower that chance to 1/50 - though for starters I think that's different since there is a 1/15 chance the breed starter will be female and there is a 0% chance of a female starter being shiny because of how DV's work.

I had good luck breeding Squirtle, the 6th egg. But this Feraligatr, from the time I could breed it because I needed chain breeding egg moves, it took me 1.5 to 2 weeks

Tbh I liked all the original characters in HW. Lana is a favorite to play as. Volga was a Lu Bu copy so that's fun too.
