Idk about using a pitchfork but that's an awful lot of Paladins

I'd suggest bringing another sniper/bow knights so you can have both a killer bow user and a Parthia user at the same time.

And get Saber and Kamui back to being dread fighters. Why'd you grind them to lv20 villagers? There's no point in that. You don't need everyone to have max stats to do anything in Echoes.

I made do without any Dread Fighters for the entire game, but they're pretty OP, and Saber and Kamui are supposed to be naturally tuned towards being one so that's one suggestion. Dread Fighters are just generally really powerful.

When against the super boss, unless there was a restriction I'm forgetting, Alm does better using the Royal Sword until you whittle down the boss' HP. Royal Sword is generally better than Falchion, because the Double Lion Art is all around really OP. Falchion is only situational.

Also I know I just said I used Sniper Python myself but if you're not looking to be stubborn like me (I was sort of challenging myself), just bench him for someone better. He's known to be the worst of the archers because of his poor hit rate. Unless you somehow got him working efficiently.

I haven't played any FE games aside from FE Warriors in ages so my advice may not be the best, but that's what I can remember.

I wanted to post this after you'd gone to bed so you'd wake up to it.

You're a good kid.

And you're your own harshest critic.

I've sat back and watched a lot of the conversations that surround you, and I've seen a definite pattern.

When someone offers you a criticism, whether it's fairly benign or really harsh, you internalize it tenfold. You make it out to be so much worse than what was intended.

Last night you felt the need to apologize to me because I teased you. I know it's because you think I was disappointed in you, or annoyed by you, or even that I hate you. But none of that is true. I teased you the way I'd tease a little brother. It's all good natured, and while I can't speak for the entire thread, I'm sure it's the same for most of the people here.

As much as it might feel like it sometimes, nobody here is against you. You have some things you need to improve on. You've got some growing up to do. But the most important thing for you moving forward is to learn how to not beat yourself up.

Here's a line from Measure for Measure:

"Our doubts are traitors, and make us lose the good we oft might win, by fearing to attempt."

It means those negative thoughts in your head are working against you. But what it also means is 500 years ago, people were struggling with this just the way you are now. It's completely normal. Everybody feels this way at some point in their life. Even the most confident, successful man in the world has doubted himself at some point in his life. Part of being human is learning how to overcome that.

Is he? I used him on both my current and previous runs of Echoes and he seems perfectly useful.

I mean, OK, I'm a Xenoblade 2 fanatic as this point. But I admit, this game would reallyyyyy benefit from a Funky Mode, make it more fun for everyone you know?

I also hope the new Smash get a Funky Mode & Funky Kong as a playable character. So that we can see Funky Kong Vs Funky Kong on Funky Kong without any items but bananas while playing on Funky Mode only. Sakurai vision would be finally made reality, no, even surpassed!

Might just be my personal experience, but it seems to me like even a "bad" Archer is pretty useful in Echoes.

His Hit Rate is notoriously bad even for an SoV Archer and his Crit Rate isn't anything to write home about either. Before promoting to Sniper, he is basically unusable, but luckily Bonus EXP exists to make up for the EXP loss from him not being able to hit things and IIRC he starts off at like Lv. 5 or something so getting him to a Sniper isn't as much hassle as it would be in any other game.

You CAN make him usable, but it requires giving him weapons that purely focus on buffing his Hit Rate, and a bit of babying. Even an Archer that doesn't Crit as much is good for picking things off because of range, but it's an annoying crutch nonetheless and he won't be dishing out the damage.

Personally, I gave him the Blessed Bow for most of my playthrough as it has good Hit Rate and gave him a niche against Terrors, especially flying Terrors.

I used him most of the game but he was by far the biggest slacker of my main party fittingly enough, and I've heard most people haven't had much better experiences.

That wasn't my intent. They happened to be lv1 Villagers when I first entered the dungeon, and thought I'd get them up to level 3 on the first floor, quickly exit to promote them, then return. But I got cocky (and more importantly, too lazy to exit) and ended up crawling through the whole dungeon with them as villagers.

He does have a poor hit rate and is a complete glass cannon, but he's still handy to have around during the first five Acts. I'll still bring Leon around regardless, thanks to your advice

He has obvious flaws for an archer, but within the bulk of Alm's army, he's still a fine ally; and it's good that you can deploy up to 20 units at once in most maps. Clive came out as much more of a stinker than him tbh, which is sad because I want to love him so much.
