Pokken sucks though.Even if Decidueye doesn't make it into Smash, I'm totally cool with that.
Dude's in Pokken. If I want to play as Decidueye I'll just play that. *shrug*
**** you OpossumHell yeah. So excited for this one.
I like Pokken on the Switch. The diversity did a lot of justice to the game. **** the Wii U version though.Pokken sucks though.
Pokemon is typically a really hard franchise to speculate about, since each Generation adds dozens of characters and a handful manage to be notable and unique enough to be "viable" for Smash.I think I might actually try to avoid supporting Pokemon newcomers for future Smash games because this is a pretty stressful ride so far.
I don't want to expirience the same disappointment as Chrom fans did during the Sm4sh days.
Oh my ****ing god that looks incredible. Also Lawrence Fishbourne is in the DCU and MCU. I love it.Hell yeah. So excited for this one.
That's exactly my point.Pokemon is typically a really hard franchise to speculate about, since each Generation adds dozens of characters and a handful manage to be notable and unique enough to be "viable" for Smash.
...I can't help but read "grass type" as "Decidueye", which makes you look like one of those "Decidueye is a forced bandwagon" people.And if that wasn't enough, a lot of the supporters tend to try and wish for a Grass Starter even though;
- Typing really wouldn't matter in the context of Smash, so if a Grass-type makes it in, it's because they had potential, not because grass.
- People don't realize that, not counting Pikachu because who here counts Yellow, only Brawl and Smash 4 introduced starters, with Brawl not even introducing some Gen 4 ones, but rather the Gen 1 starters due to the Pokemon Trainer being Red as well as being the most iconic starters.
Not a bad summoning session! Epharaim is my second and neutral so I’ll be using him over my old one. Inigo is plus def minus ho. Which isn’t too bad. Pretty happy. Going to round up some orbs and try to summon again.
I don't think he's a forced bandwagon. He definitely has the uniqueness and popularity to justify him being in Smash....I can't help but read "grass type" as "Decidueye", which makes you look like one of those "Decidueye is a forced bandwagon" people.
I completely agree with your points, but I just don't see why they're worth mentioning otherwise.
I know that, but it can come off that way.I don't think he's a forced bandwagon. He definitely has the uniqueness and popularity to justify him being in Smash.
To Decidueye's defense, it's not really different from people who just want K. Rool because "he's a villain", or "DK rep".I just some some people support him for reasons that don't make sense.
I can see why. Not to mention I'd prefer Incineroar if only so Smash can finally get a full grappler.I know that, but it can come off that way.
People just don't take the time to think of good reasons. To Decidueye's defense, it's not really different from people who just want K. Rool because "he's a villain", or "DK rep".
Hell, when I see support for Impa, I rarely ever see anyone mention reasons beyond "Zelda needs more reps" and "she's the most recurring Zelda character".
Other way around for me.I can see why. Not to mention I'd prefer Incineroar if only so Smash can finally get a full grappler.
But I'd be fine with the Grass Archer.
But that Giant Water Sword and Fire Naginata, though!!I know that, but it can come off that way.

Maybe Pokémon who are a part of a duo? Like Hitmonlee/Hitmonchan, Zangoose/Serviper, Sawk/Throh, etc..What pokemon duos would make fusee candidates?
Good idea!Maybe Pokémon who are a part of a duo? Like Hitmonlee/Hitmonchan, Zangoose/Serviper, Sawk/Throh, etc..
I need Talim and Tira.So Taki's now in Soul Calibur 6. Pretty cool, once we get Yoshimitsu, I'll have the 4 characters I use the most. (Kilik, Taki, Siegfried and Yoshimitsu). I'll try to get better with Zasalamel if possible.
Of course I'm hoping for Talim and Raph to come back too.
...
You mean the one that's exclusive to spin-offs and some people reject because of that? But that Giant Water Sword and Fire Naginata, though!!
^thisBut in all seriousness I support characters who I genuinely think will be cool fighters in addition to "other" reasons...
To be honest, I don't think I would've supported Isaac today if I didn't learn about him during the DLC period.Another thing about bandwagons is that a lot of people warm up to the idea of the character being in Smash...so the support picks up steam...look at indie stars Shovel Knight and Shantae for example...
Yanmega and Flygon...What pokemon duos would make fusee candidates?
If you don't guard the jewels, I grab em....
You legit stole my joke.
For ****s sake.
*screams*The one thing I'm worried about for Ant-Man and the Wasp...is if in a post credit scene, we get...
"Hey Scotty, I'm not feeling so good, man..."
And then Luis turns to ash.
I mean I'll be honest I was just ****posting.Yep. Honestly the games don't need remakes either. They already have updated ones. Essentially twice due to Gold/Silver's remakes.
D/P way more need the updating in comparison, as the base games are slow as hell and a lot of it is a slog to play through. Especially with the environmental effects slowing it down even more. HG/SS was fairly faster, at least. B/W vastly improved the series, ignoring the "holy crap, this is linear" factor, anyway. Better TM system, for one thing. More balanced gameplay. X/Y did also improve it with the Fairy type and more balance(though I still think Ice needs more resistances, and frankly, Electric should have at least 1 or 2 more weaknesses. No Pokemon should be able to ignore having a weakness overall simply by having Levitate).
