Also got both Halloween Henry and Iñigo. However everyone's IV's are garbage hahaha. Henry -Atq, Iñigo -Spd and Lyn -Spd. I think Lyn can be salvaged, since she is built to be an enemy phase unit, and with all the speed buffs she's reaching 42 speed. I'll give her quick reposte and call it a day. And Iñigo is a dancer, so I don't care about his IV's. Sad about Henry though...

And that L!Ike is perfect, going to give warding breath to Fae. My chicken will only need aether and she will be broken. I still have 100 orbs, if the banner on the forth has Hector I'll try pulling so I can give DC to Catria.

Edit: Lol L!Ike is -Atq too hahaha. Thank god he's getting foddered.

So far, the Banner was a bit nice for me. It gave me Fallen Celica on the first roll. She's -SPD however. Nevertheless, at least it gave me something early on compared to the Ike and Ephraim Banners. No luck with Lyn yet, and I absolutely dread the fact that I already have the other 2 units. At least I can merge Inigo if needbe and I can use H!Henry for Armor March.

Nighttime always finds a way to **** with your head. Sleep and a fresh morning is the best cure I find. I had a small episode last night. Woke up at around 3 am and couldn’t fall back to sleep because I was thinking too much and started getting overwhelmed.

I haven’t seen my family in like, 4 years and most of my old friends and family relations have moved on/probably won’t see any of them again. My grandma passed away back in November and I couldn’t go back for the funeral. I have a seven month old daughter and wife who depends on me for a living and we aren’t exactly well off. I could be getting better work with higher pay but I never put in the effort to expand my career portfolio due to feeling content in my current career field. Not to mention I was trying not to make a noise while silently freaking out as not to wake up our baby since she sleeps in our room and tends to wake up easily around that time plus I was thinking what I had to do at work today.

Anyways, besides laying out my own woes for the thread to see; I wanted to articulate that there might be dark times and it may be hard to see beyond it but there’s always a brighter side...even if you don’t see it. I think the fact we have these troubling, dark times is a testament to who we are and the fact we are alive.

I also cleared out the Legendary Hero Battle map on Infernal using the old reliable - Brave Bow+ Leon and three dancers. Needed some tweaks - had to give him Lancebreaker and Quickened Pulse, and Drive Atk on Ninian, so he could take out the lance knight on turn one; after that I needed a bunch of AI manipulation to sort it out, but got there before too long. Didn't think it was as bad as I've been hearing from other people, though I can see why people might have difficulty with it if they don't have enough heavy hitters.

Oh yes, that's very valuable. Enough feathers to promote one unit to 5* every five years or so. Hope you aren't in too much of a hurry with that. :p

Blastoise, Ampharos, Nidoking, Exeggutor, Tyranitar, Heracross

That seems like a good Johto/ Kanto team

Or Typhlosion instead of Heracross if Johto starters are somehow available. Also Dragonite as an alternative to Tyranitar

I've sat back and watched a lot of the conversations that surround you, and I've seen a definite pattern.

When someone offers you a criticism, whether it's fairly benign or really harsh, you internalize it tenfold. You make it out to be so much worse than what was intended.

Last night you felt the need to apologize to me because I teased you. I know it's because you think I was disappointed in you, or annoyed by you, or even that I hate you. But none of that is true. I teased you the way I'd tease a little brother. It's all good natured, and while I can't speak for the entire thread, I'm sure it's the same for most of the people here.

As much as it might feel like it sometimes, nobody here is against you. You have some things you need to improve on. You've got some growing up to do. But the most important thing for you moving forward is to learn how to not beat yourself up.

Here's a line from Measure for Measure:

"Our doubts are traitors, and make us lose the good we oft might win, by fearing to attempt."

It means those negative thoughts in your head are working against you. But what it also means is 500 years ago, people were struggling with this just the way you are now. It's completely normal. Everybody feels this way at some point in their life. Even the most confident, successful man in the world has doubted himself at some point in his life. Part of being human is learning how to overcome that.

You are also a great person to talk to. We have all our little problems that sometime peoples can see, but honestly, your post are so-well written that, I honestly didn't think that you had problems before you bring it up. Also, you really seem to have a mindset that's pessimistic like me, except unlike me, it bleeds into your self-confidence too which is highly unhealthy. You always seem to think that you'll always **** up and, because the mind is a wonderful and fascinating thing, it ends up making it real. If you stop having such a lack of confidence in yourself, which is admittedly easier said than done for a friendless kid like you, life is definitely gonna look a lot brighter.

And what did I say about comparing yourself to us, kiddo? It's like apples and oranges because we got a ton of life experience that you don't have due to the simple fact that you're much younger than any of us. Of course we'll seem better because we either got to a really good point in life where we achieved our dreams or simply done a truckload of mistakes and grew as individuals from them. And I'm sure some people are actually both too.

Yep. Honestly the games don't need remakes either. They already have updated ones. Essentially twice due to Gold/Silver's remakes.

D/P way more need the updating in comparison, as the base games are slow as hell and a lot of it is a slog to play through. Especially with the environmental effects slowing it down even more. HG/SS was fairly faster, at least. B/W vastly improved the series, ignoring the "holy crap, this is linear" factor, anyway. Better TM system, for one thing. More balanced gameplay. X/Y did also improve it with the Fairy type and more balance(though I still think Ice needs more resistances, and frankly, Electric should have at least 1 or 2 more weaknesses. No Pokemon should be able to ignore having a weakness overall simply by having Levitate).

That's kinda harsh for Corrin since all of Fates is poorly written, so they're at least consistent with everyone else.

In comparison, I think Sieg is pretty much the only trash thing in Apocrypha... aside from Jeanne later on, but that's Sieg's fault anyway.

Legendary banner's been surprisingly alright for me. Five 5* in 200 orbs puts me ahead of the curve.

They were:
-Fellica (+Spd/-Def)
-H!Henry (+HP/-Atk, damn you Worst Nature Curse)
-Genny (+Spd/-Def)
-A second H!Henry (+HP/-Def, still not good but it'll do, I guess)
-A second Genny (+Res/-Atk)

I went into this hoping for the seasonals and Eiricav, and I only got one of them so far. On the other hand, I got a powerful infantry sword sweeper with a great nature, the hardest hitting staff in the game with a good nature, and Armor March and Wrathful Staff fodder. Still hope I can grab someone else off my wishlist before the end of the week, though.

If you're playing on Classic Mode and have revival spring uses left, you could sacrifice a unit if you really need to clear out someone annoying.

It's the last real challenge of the game and you can just use a revival spring after the fact.

Atlas died for my sins when I did it.

My thoughts on Infinity War, in no particular order. Spoilers are almost definitely going to be mentioned.

-I am slightly disappointed that Invisible Drax never wound up becoming a thing

-during the chase scene between Ebony Maw, Dr. Strange, and Spider-Man, I remember feeling so glad that Marvel had gotten Spider-Man back for this

-Thor, Rocket, and Groot were great together

-while I figured that the post-credits scene of Thor Ragnarok wasn't going to end well, I feel like the first few minutes almost completely negated that entire movie. The only bright side is that we never saw Valkyrie, Korg, and Miek - guessing they'll have some kind of excuse, like they were off scouting, to explain how they survived

-Thanos was handled much better than I thought, though I feel like him actually caring for Gamora, to the point of mourning her death at his hands, was somewhat out of character

-I let out an audible "oh crap" at the return of the Red Skull

-Thanos's minions, the Black Order/Children of Thanos, got more to do than I thought, which is pretty impressive when most Marvel movies tend to have one major villain and a horde of brainless minions

-I felt like the movie jumped around a lot (much like this impromptu review is doing), but otherwise, it did a good job with handling the sheer number of characters that it had, which I was concerned about going into it

-Thanos reminds me of Freeza from Dragon Ball - almost infinitely powerful, but he does very little (even spending most of his time sitting in a fancy chair) until literally all of his minions are dead

-I think the Infinity Gauntlet was wrecked, or at least damaged, after The Snap. I assume it's still usable, because that reset button is going to be mashed HARD (at least three of the characters/groups have movies coming up)

-speaking of which, if anyone is going to undo Thanos's damage, I kind of hope it's Hawkeye - aside from being completely unexpected, he seems like the most down-to-Earth Avenger, and as an added bonus, we could get Quicksilver back!

-Scarlet Witch and the Vision were handled pretty well, even if the Vision seemed somewhat nerfed for the movie

-presumably, Dr. Strange can only see the future/past and can't impact it while he's there; otherwise, there'd be hundreds of different ways to stop Thanos from getting the Infinity Gauntlet in the first place

-kind of weird that it's Spider-Man who suggested how to kill Ebony Maw, but it led to a great line

-speaking of great lines, "you're embarrassing me in front of the wizards" and "did you tell him about the dance-off to save the universe?" are fantastic with or without context

-my only issue is that Thor reigniting a dead star was handled rather abruptly, but I suppose that's going to happen when the movie's already two and a half hours and jam-packed full of characters and plot lines

-great use of the Avengers theme, but not much memorable music otherwise

-as far as final lines go, Nick Fury's was perfect

I could keep going on and on, but all in all, I really liked it. (though I think I'm going to see something on the lighter side, like Deadpool 2, next time)
