Well, according to the thing, it's being developed by Black Forest Games, the studio that does the Giana Sisters series. The latest GS game, Twisted Dreams, was received favorably, so Bubsy seems to have a decent developer behind it.

Dolphins Vs. Aliens with subplots involving Atlantean time machines and weird entities on the bottom of the ocean is way cooler than 90's mascots, though. Kinda tedious and hard, though. Super Dolphin Mode on the 3DS port solves most of that, but there's one level even that will never spare us from the pain of. . .
