Personally, my biggest issue was his weapons were definitely hard to use (probably a learning curve).

I'll try him some more next time to see if my opinion changes.

Oh almost forgot. I loved the way my server ended: I won the battle with a perfect the exact nanosecond the match began.

ARMS seems to be a "git gud" game; it can be frustrating at first but practice can give very rewarding results.

Plus the fact you can get swole by using motion controls.

I just hope Nintendo does more with the Arms characters, I love their designs but the game doesn't seem to be my cup of tea so it'll kind of feel like wasted potential to me.

As someone who's spent the past hour on the TestPunch session - I think it's pretty good. I was playing in Tabletop mode downstairs, since for some reason the Internet connection in my room is terrible.

So my current thoughts on it so far:
>Motion controls can be a bit of a challenge to get used to the first time you start playing, but I think like Splatoon, it's sort of falls into the 'Difficult, but Awesome' trope.
>Battle-Royale/Team Battle was a bit confusing, but once you learn where the changing target buttons are, it becomes a bit more understandable. Just make sure you don't get dog-piled by everyone.
>Gameplay is pretty good and the characters definitely have a lot of flair to them.
>V-Ball is pretty hard; if you missed and the ball lands on your side, it's a free point for them.
>Online connection felt really smooth when I was playing it.
>Like Smash Bros, items are inevitable, and I'm not sure how the potential competitive scene could respond to it.

On Helix's note, his Blorb and Guardians are pretty frustrating. The Blorb is heavy, and bounces, but in a bit of advice, maybe try punching upwards to give a bit of extra height.

Regardless, I had a lot of fun playing it. Guess I don't have to do boxing today, since it certainly is a workout. I'll be looking forward to the next TestPunch to see if my positive thoughts remain the same.

Someone seemed to crack to code on how to pick your character's color swap.

He wouldn't reveal everything, but it's clearly directional input related (so it's D-Pad, left or right stick)

I think the main take away from Arms was that for an hour, I had a lot of fun in just one mode.

So the game is fun and it's something I can spend a lot of time getting good at - like Smash.

So yes, it's a Day 1 purchase for me.

Probably a minority opinion but, first impression......I don't really like ARMS. Not really something I think I will get into. It was ok at first, but by the end, I was already like, "I'm over it".

At some point for Fire Emblem Heroes, I hope they release the Experience Boost skills for Sacred Seals. I mean, they make perfect sense. They released Spur Defense 1 and Fortify Res 1 which are C-passive skills, the EXP Boost skills only work for the unit it's on for their 1 version and you can't cheat the EXP Boost skills as using Weapon EXP 1 and 3 together will only apply 3's effect.
At the same time, I want to level up my little heroes quicker. It feels like forever to level them up sometimes, especially when an 1.5x EXP event isn't happening.

None, cuz I had to work when it was live

But double checking the schedule it seems to be live early tomorrow morning so I can give it a go before work!:D If I'm lucky I can run off at work and possibly give it another go in the afternoon...

IIRC Drake mainly does music and philanthropy now, with only an occasional acting role. He was also Spider-Man in Disney XD's Ultimate Spider-Man, so that's something I suppose.

Didn't he retire from music not a long ago due to an injury? I never really learned what happened after that.
