I have those headphones myself, and I really enjoy them. The sound quality is fantastic, and they are pretty comfortable to wear.
I see, then that settles it, I am gonna buy urbeats earphones soon.
Kirito from SAO - Don't make him this overpowered hero from the get-go. Make him feel more human by letting him start weak but gradually become strong overtime. Also, make sure he doesn't achieve a harem. All these changes basically amount to "make Kirito less of a Gary Stu."
This was literally the problem and complain my SAO fan brother has with Kirito, especially in the movie Ordinal Scale.

Well, one more game to clear from the backlog - DOOM! (2016)

Might give some thoughts about it all in a review of sorts:
I had some scepticism about the game when it was in the Beta period, but rest assured - id went all out with this game in the Single-player. Interesting that Metroid is being brought up now, especially when in DOOM there's a hidden focus of exploring secret areas in the new game as well, often including new augments for the Doomguy/Player.

Combat and gameplay - Fast and intense; expect lots of blood and gore either on the demons receiving it, or you getting torn limb from limb should you get too overwhelmed. You get a good variety of weapons, from the shotgun, plasma gun, rocket launcher, and the memorable Chainsaw and BFG, and taking on the demons like nothing is pretty enjoyable. Weapons always have two mods available for them, such as a lobbed grenade or triple-shot for the shotgun, and each can be upgraded. And it is pretty difficult from time to time, even on the normal difficulty.

On the multiplayer side, it's... okay. Not exactly the experience that comes to mind when you think of Doom, since it's a lot like it's contemporaries, but it's decent enough. The SnapMap's a neat little feature if you want to be creative, or just have fun in new maps made by the community.

Graphics - Expect lots of red - in all seriousness, it's often quite visceral to look at the enemies up close, but they all look really good. The

Soundtrack - Mick Gordon delivers a death metal/techno soundtrack that fits the game once again.

Story - It's Doom. Demons and zombies are taking over Mars. What'cha going to do? Kill them all with whatever's available! But there's more to it to that thanks to a relatively small, but noteworthy cast of side-characters along the way, as well as some new lore that sheds new light on the worlds the game explores. As the game goes on, there's exploration into the actions of the UAC as well as what the Doomguy is, but they don't detract too much from the original focus of Doom - which is to just shoot everything. Though the last-second ending makes me wonder if they'll eventually set up a DOOM 2...

Level-Design - Very Metroidvania-ish, as I've mentioned before. It is rather linear, as you go through about 12 or 13 missions, but there's always secrets to be found if you're willing to look for them. It adds a bit of replay value to try and find all the little Doomguy figurines and the augments for both weapons and your abilities.

Overall - It's really good, and one of the best FPS games from 2016 alongside Overwatch, Titanfall 2 and Battlefield 1. Single player's done nicely, soundtrack to kill to from Mick Gordon, and a nice revival of a genre-defining series.

Now that I'm finished with DOOM, the next game I'm looking to finish this month is Fire Emblem Fates: Birthright before the release of Echoes in about 9-10 days from now. Completing Birthright should be satisfactory enough for me, so perhaps I'll eventually return to Conquest after a fair amount of time spent in Echoes, then finish with Revelations.

More Injustice 2 premier skins got leaked.

Jay Garrick for Flash

Vixen for Cheetah

Apparently there's a Red Arrow Premier Skin for Green Arrow too but that one hasn't been screenshotted yet.
There should be plenty more though.

That Flash one looks so dorky and terrible that I might use it.

Not having G-Gundam is lame. I wanted the ERUPTING...BURNING...FINGER!!! That and Maxter Gundam is pretty cool.

How else will the east become burning red?
Yeah, that series being cut is particularly jarring given how popular it is. SEED Destiny as well to a lesser extent and half of 00 missing is just weird.

Doom got old pretty quickly for me. Like I got 80% through and was just exhausted from the game.

Down on the corner, out in the street.
So I just read the second chapter of the fan made manga "The Case of Being Reincarnated As Yamcha" and it's a really fun read.

Yamcha actually beats Vegeta pretty bad and almost kills him, but decides against it because he remembers that Trunks is a cool character and that Vegeta becomes a useful ally too... can't wait for chapter 3 tbh.

SEED Destiny being missing is fine though because it's trash.

00 and G-Gundam will be mourned if they don't make it as DLC though.

My graduation will be a disappointing day. Most of my distant relatives and grandparents can't come because taking a flight to America would have been too expensive for them. Just me, my three siblings, and parents.

I guess this is one of the major downsides of being an immigrant.

Beats having both of your grandmothers dead, a grandfather being sent to a retirement home after he got X-ray surgery for a stroke, and one that would rather celebrate Mother's Day near his wife's grave.

Meanwhile, I'm scraping at the bottom of the barrel by inviting an old chemistry teacher from high school, one who was one of my art clients.

Can't hide the fact I have big anticipations for Nintendo's E3 this year.

Otherwise if they don't deliver enough stuff to fill them, my choice for my Wii U's successor won't be turned to the Switch.

Golden Axe was a no brainer. Even if Gilius is the self proclaimed protagonist of the Golden Axe franchise that had crossover roles, Tyris won out due to popularity. She didn't have her own game, albeit a mediocre one, for nothing. And that broken Fire Dragon spell is well worth it.

Next up is about another fan favorite beat em up, Streets of Rage. This series already have a decently huge playable cast with only few standing out among them. Your choices are Adam Hunter, Axel Stone, Blaze Fielding, and Max Thunder.

To be fair, you can't prevent most of that from happening. Just think of it this way, they will always be with you in spirit. As for your other grandfather, he would have to move on since it's been two years. At least he would know that she's there beside him in spirit.

Better than family who can't come here because of money and traveling.

If your basing your purchase decision of a console based on it's first year of release you're going to be let down either way. Unless you're saying that you're waiting on 1 or 2 specific games that have to be revealed here or else you're not getting the system, and that's just straight up unrealistic.

I doubt we'll see a gigaton of new content at E3. Maybe a new Metroid. Maybe an upgraded Smash port. Definitely some 3rd Party stuff. And most definitely Super Mario Odyssey, Xenoblade 2, Splatoon 2, ARMS, Fire Emblem Warriors, Zelda, etc. I'm not expecting to see a new F-ZERO, Star Fox, Smash, Zelda, Pikmin, and a new IP for another couple of years at least. As much as I'd love all that stuff to be there, that's unrealistic as hell. Especially in a systems first year of life.

This month's CoroCoro scans have been leaked, and it presents new artwork for the upcoming movie as well as some yet-to-be-translated details on the new characters that will appear in it. The biggest takeaway from the scans was this:

Yep, "shocking information" about Marshadow will be revealed next month. Not surprised we are going to learn more about the event legendary considering past patterns where major info about mythical Pokemon are usually revealed around that time (i.e. Shaymin's Sky Forme first revealed in June 2009, Keldeo's Resolute Form first revealed in June 2012, Diancie's Mega Evolution first revealed in June 2014, etc.)

I have a feeling this "shocking information" could be any of the following:
  • A new form for Marshadow
  • Marshadow's exclusive Z-move
  • Both of the above

Who knows? :3
I still have to wonder how Smash will be impacted with this "Nintendo Spotlight" type of showing planned with a main focus on 2017 games at E3. It makes me hope that they'll release this theoretical port of the game in the fall. Honestly, though, as long as I find out it exists, then I'm completely ok with waiting; its really been my main goal to see if it even exists or not (which I imagine it does).

Either way. I am glad to know the main event is taking place on June 13th, which is a day after my birthday and a day I should hopefully have off, hence you guys may get to see me go crazy in a post birthday type of reaction video. :p

Hence I said 'big', not 'huge'.

(Unless I should have used another word from the scale register.)

I should also have said I only owned Nintendo systems, from the N64 to the Wii U, and if things don't turn as I mentioned in my previous post, I think I'm gonna have my first PlayStation console with the PS4.

Not to say I'll say never to the Switch, but I don't wish to go through a year of drought.

I'm just saying that people always have 'big' expectations for E3 and are more often let down than not. That's why I usually only hope for one game. This year it's a Smash Port. I was more or less saying keep your expectations in check because Nintendo usually only shows games that are releasing that year thus the reason I was referring to the Switch's first year in market.

I don't have a game that I want to see specifically at E3. Really, all I want is to be entertain and that Nintendo make a decent E3. That's all I ask really. Maybe a teaser about a new Metroid game? I don't know and I prefer wait to see the answer. And if there is nothing, then, better next time I guess?
I dunno, I just want people to not have their expectation too high. Hype is a great and horrible thing, and I wish peoples were able to have their expectation low so that they don't feel "betrayed" if something doesn't go the way they want.
But what I am saying? The Hype Train is never going to stop, in good and in bad, I can't wait to see someone saying that Nintendo is dead for good this time.:4olimar:

Buildin' an E3 hype! We're gonna need an E3 hype riiiiiiight here. :4engineer:

I'm very pumped for this year's E3. I'm really hoping Beth throws the wild card with FO:NV2 or TES 6- neither in which I'm expecting, but I got that gut feeling they got something good.

I know SMT switch wont be at E3 but I wanna know more about that game. I doubt its even half way started tbh
Apparently they barely started development for the game when it was shown off in January so it's likely not even close...

---

Another game I'm sort of expecting/hoping to see more of is FFVIIR...
I'm not too optimistic about a Switch port for the game but I'd like to see more about it for the time being...

In addition to Nintendo things, my main point of hype for this E3 is more footage of Crash Bandicoot: N-Sane Trilogy. It comes out pretty soon after E3, so I'm expecting one final pre-release trailer. Little Big Planet 4 would also be incredibly hype.

For things confirmed to exist, I'm most excited to see more of Super Mario Odyssey, Fire Emblem Warriors, and maybe a teaser for the Fire Emblem Switch title. For things that aren't totally confirmed but are highly likely IMO, I'm hoping to see a Smash port with a newcomer or two, and more info on whatever Pokémon game is getting hinted at being revealed this month (be it Stars/Eclipse/Prism or something else entirely).

I'm praying to Arceus its new form (it'll have one, guaranteed) isn't ugly. Marshadow is the second most cutest Mythical Legendary Pokémon I've ever seen.

I'll only take a fourth LBP if Sony actually puts a decent dev on it this time. LBP3 felt rushed and is still incredibly broken (DLC transferring is barely functional, game-breaking glitches that bar you from online are still abundant) even after three years of dev time, so hopefully Sony has something better planed for the LBP franchise.

That's partly why I'm hoping for a fourth one, to re-instill faith in the franchise that lots of folks lost after three. Especially considering three had some really neat features (the three other playable characters were all really nice, especially Swoop), I'd hate to see all of 3's ideas abandoned.

I believe a Smash Switch port as much as I believe in the EOV localisation
As in "if it ain't at E3 it's dead"

Also, the Marshadow thing is 100% the Z-Move cause we're not supposed to know that

People talking about Metroid made me remember that Metroid for Switch is pretty much inevitable and now im excited again. Dammit guys.

Anyway, as for E3 I dont really have any hype. Im not really interested in games outside of nintendo (no way to play them) and im pretty much set for the switch by the end of the year. Mario, BotW, maybe xenoblade if we're lucky, and especially Splatoon 2 will keep me satisfied for a long time most likely.
