Anyone remember the Famitsu leak during Smash 4? That leak had a lot of merits to it but as soon as Robin was revealed everyone was saying that Famitsu was absolutely, 100% bull****ting the entire thing. So, yeah I definitely think leaks can be leaks without being 100% on point. It's just when they're way the **** off, like Laura Kate Dale's pricing, release date, launch titles, etc., you can begin to doubt the integrity of said leaker.

Yeah, you're probably thinking of the Gematsu Leak. Trust me, as a Robin supporter, I saw what that did to people. Looking back, it seems like the leaker had legitimate information, but it was old, missing key details (including several characters), and wasn't as airtight as he or she acted like it was.

Why do so many people try to cram things into absolutes nowadays? Have they always been this way, and I just never noticed when I was younger?

It's mostly about the changes like the removal of Beruka and Saizo's C support.

The other changes like Kana and Velouria's dialogue don't bother me. They are fine. Hardcore purists are harping on those too, but I don't care about them.

I liked that they actually translated the game by themselves to suit their tastes. That's a good constructive way.

Have y'all heard the talk that there might be more Lycanroc forms in the works, backed up by some datamining of the Global Link back in November? Well, I've been mulling over some stuff the last couple days, and now I'm starting to think the anime itself is setting up a third form's existence.

Could also be that Rockruff would mellow out some on evolution. Sun 'dex notes that "its disposition grows rougher as it grows up" and the SM site notes that "Lycanroc obeys its Trainer’s orders dutifully. In particular, if a Trainer accepted it during its more rebellious pre-Evolution period, Lycanroc will never ever betray that Trainer and will be the most loyal of partners."

The combat-seeking could just be the writers' way of expressing that unruly pre-evolution phase. I kind of doubt they'd introduce a third form for Lycanroc, truth be told; I expect it'll just evolve into one or the other in Stars based on time of day, since it's already got that requirement built-in.

Granted, none of this explains the datamine, so who knows.

If there's a third form, how you picture it?, bipedal?, with a secondary type?
Imo both Lycanroc forms are perfect contrasts of each other, and a third inbetween form would be hard to pull as it can end being too similar to either of the opposing forms.

You should see some of Gray and Tobin's dialogue
"She's going to be a handful"
"Uh, yeah, *ahem* that's what I'm hoping"

Also, Alcohol provisions are still in the Japanese version but no one can drink them and fhus are only usable as vendor fodder or as ofderings for Mila statues

The changes about Soleil are their biggest complaint
Do you think they care about how she's portrayed? No, as long as it's not the original, it sucks for them

Also, I find it ironic it was only because of their need to translate a game that was getting localised anyways that the whole Soleil thing happened
