I played a tiny (and I mean tiny) bit of Tales of Symphonia.

I liked what I played, but I got stuck very early on.

I wouldn't mind giving it another shot one day, maybe after I play some more RPGs. I remember feeling pretty overwhelmed with the customization.

Only played the 2 Symphonia games thusfar. Pretty fun, and has neat characters. Can get rather funny too.

So the latest Squid Sisters saga chapter has Callie and Marie getting along better. . .but it also discusses the shopkeepers.

We already knew Crusty Sean got a new business, this explains he was tired of being a manager and wanted his own place. But apparently Annie being the shy girl she is stopped selling hats and is decorating weapons for Sheldon now. . .Sheldon on the other hand seems to have stayed in his current role, as it mentions him looking into opening a second location where Turf Wars are more popular. Then the conversation turns to the fact that neither of them have seen Captain Cuttlefish for a while. . .

So I'm curious about what functions Annie and Crusty Sean will be doing exactly in Splatoon 2. We know Crusty Sean has a food truck due to the first trailer, and now we know Annie is decorating weapons. But I'm wondering what exactly those two things will do, and Annie doesn't seem like she'll take up any more storefront space than Sean does the way what she's doing was described. . .

Popular opinion on the Tales series was that Abyss/Vesperia were the last "great" ones and everything after was mediocre, Zestiria broke the camel's back for a couple reasons (weak characters+plot, weaker battle system, very glitchy, rushed) so people started feeling like the series was overstaying it's welcome.

Then Berseria came out and everyone says it's been the best Tales game in a long time and a very good RPG in general. It's gotten respectable critical reception too.

I played Symphonia, but for some reason I stopped shortly. Although at the same time, I think I was lost and ended up *missing* some important places.
That being said, I did play Vesperia and that was a great game with some of my favorite characters. Yuri is easily one of my favorite protagonists and the rest of the cast was also really enjoyable. I also really enjoyed the gameplay. It really sucks that the PS3 Port of Vesperia didn't come over to the West.
Edit: Fixed that. Where the heck did I get keeping from?

Tales from the Crypt is my favorite, it was a pretty dank, especially the cryptkeeper, best waifu.

I mean. .. it's an RPG series so it seems like something I would want to play but I haven't touched it.

For some reason I have a feeling you would like it too.

It's odd for someone like me that's more used to turn based and the occasional MMO-lite type experience, but in a kind of refreshing way. You're actively pressing buttons to attack when you fight, and positioning is surprisingly important.

Please note that I am not the person to ask about RPGs as I have way too many good ones Symphonia included that I went partway through, enjoyed, and then just fizzled out on after getting stuck on something. Will hopefully get back to everything eventually. Which actually is kind of the same way I play platformers. . .actually I just have a tendency to get stuck and start from the beginning to try to beat things with games in general come to think of it.

I think Xillia 1 is one of the better titles in general so definitely go for that one. Graces has a fun battle system but I honestly didn't enjoy the characters or story too much. Xillia 2 is... meh. Never played Zestiria.

Was playing online and won a Shine Thief in the most trollish way possible...literally just driving down a ramp in Dragon Palace made a quick u-turn and then just watched everyone just zoom right by me, then as they go to turn around I just U-turn again and once again they drive right past me, it's one of those 'I can't believe that worked' moments!!!

There was another Shine Thief that I was able to clutch as time was running out, I was tailing someone who had the shine and I used the feather to steal it from him literally within the last possible second...

Btw...as far as online performance goes, so far no glaring issues, had players from Japan, Australia and the States playing as well...but didn't have any issues with lag or disconnects so far...but we'll see in the future if it does keep up...

I have heard that the online still isn't perfect however...I feel like Nintendo's at least going to address any issues reported before they start charging for online, most likely one of the main reasons why early Switch users get free online for the first few months so they can report any issues and Nintendo can make an attempt at patching up those problems moving forward...
