The "E3 Leaks" are here once again! This time we have metroid, zelda, mario, pokemon and more!
http://boards.4chan.org/v/thread/376042506#p376042506
Don't want to click links, well here's the rundown:
>The first thing to be shown during the Digital Event is a clip of a new Metroid game, developed by Platinum Games. It currently has no name, and release is TBA. It sort of looks like Vanquish and Metal Gear Rising had a baby, and the gameplay shows Samus fighting off Ridley in a closed off facility. No voice acting is heard from Samus luckily. The gameplay is claiming to be running on a Switch, but I kind of doubt it is.
>The second thing Nintendo show off is the new features for the Switch. The new online service is revealed, and it's called Switch Net. (Switch Line in Japan) The subscription costs $15 a year, but not every game requires it. Indie games or games with a smaller use of online interactions do not require this service, meanwhile bigger games like Arms, Dragon Quest, Monster Hunter, Super Smash Bros, etc require the paid service to play online.
>The Virtual Console for Nintendo Switch is revealed, and it is a separate store from the Nintendo Eshop. Included are games for NES, SNES, N64, All GB systems, Game Gear, Genesis/MegaDrive, Turbo Graphix 16, Atari 2600 and Arcade. This service also let's users try a game for a small amount of time before buying, but can only be tried once. When this service launches, early adopters of the Switch will receive one NES, SNES and N64 game for free. Due to heavy request from fans, Nintendo also announces GameCube Virtual Console on the Switch which is slated for a 2018 release. Alongside this is Saturn and 3DO Virtual Console.
>The new game in the Animal Crossing series is shown, and this time it's set on an island you can travel to other player's Islands via airplane. Alongside this are special Animal Crossing spots which can be found in cities and landmarks across the world. These let you travel to nearby or recently seen islands. This new Animal Crossing game will release in early 2018.
>Super Smash Bros Deluxe is happening. As you would imagine, it's a port of Smash Bros for Wii U with all DLC. This mode does however use some stages from the 3DS version, along with adding newcomers like Inkling, Spring Man and Bomberman. Returning characters include Wolf and Ice Climbers. Smash Run is also returning, alongside the addition of offline tournament mode. This will be releasing on November 24th, alongside Smash Bros themed Joy Cons.
>A trailer for the new SMT is shown, showing off combat, characters, etc. Don't know anything about SMT, and never will.
>A new story trailer for Splatoon 2, showing off Octoling tanks, Octoling snipers, some kaizo looking platforming sections. Also shown is a new map, which is a giant manga and anime store built as an arena, because Japan of course!
>A third party showcase reel is shown afterwards. These include Skyrim, PayDay 2, Sonic Forces, Sonic Mania, Bayonetta, Street Fighter V Complete, Gal Gun Double Peace +, Tekken 7, Mighty No 9, BlazBlue, Hearthstone, Mega Man Super, Undertale DX, Freedom Planet 2 and Resident Evil 7.
>Follwing that is basically talking about Persona 5: Mementos Edition and how it adds some new content only seen on Nintendo Switch. Releasing 2018 according to Atlus.
>Shown next is a big trailer for Fire Emblem Warriors. This trailer shows off characters, battlefields, modes, and other such stuff. Has been delayed to November 3rd however.
>New trailer for Xenoblade Chronicles 2, showing off the characters, world, some of the story, battle system, and online co op. Surprised me that this is releasing on October 12th.
>DLC trailer for The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild. This trailer shows some gameplay of the new big shrine, equipment, story, and enviroment.
>Mario and Luigi Super Saga Deluxe: Bowser's Minions is shown. Complete remake of the GBA game, but now has a enemy and boss rush mode called Bowser's Minions. It's supposed to get harder and harder as you progress.
>Mario VS Rabbids: Kingdom Showdown is revealed. The game is a crossover of Mario and Rabbids, and the game has you pick a team of Mario characters and fight off against hoards of Rabbids in a hack and slash top down game. Also has online multiplayer.
>The final game shown is a new Pokemon game for Nintendo Switch. Pokemon Stars is a follow up to the story of Pokemon Sun and Moon, and is the first HD main line Pokemon game. Various new Pokemon and a new Legendary are avaliable in this version, and you can transfer your Pokemon from the 3DS games via internet.
That's about it for the Digital Event. By the way, this year's animated segments are done by Studio Trigger. Some real funny animations of Reggie and Miyamoto are in bound.
Sounds interesting, but who knows. No Mario Odyssey mention is strange though. Nothing majory un realistic though.
Smash leaks always make these things feel twice as fake as they would otherwise, LOL.Are you ready boys and girls?

Also, yeah, GF is totally gonna drop all those beautiful and fresh assets from SM and build everything from scratch, they'd at least try to find a way to not let them go to waste, especially with all those walking animationsand is the first HD main line Pokemon game

Let's see...So here's a neat activity. Personal Smash 4 Rosters.
Here are the rules:
Take Smash 4's Roster and remove ONLY the characters who haven't appeared in any game you've personally played. Do not cut anyone who appears in a game you HAVE played. Afterward, see how many empty spaces you have. Take those spaces and fill them with characters from games you have played. Then, post the results.
Some Specifics:
1) Don't be that guy. You can't keep the entirety of Smash 4's roster because you've played Smash Bros.
2) I'll reiterate: Even if you don't like the character, don't cut characters who've appeared in games you've played.
3) Cameo appearances are fine so long as it actually is that character. Putting in R.O.B. because you've played Mario Kart DS is fine. Putting in R.O.B. because you've played Super Mario Maker is not fine, as that is only a R.O.B. Costume.
4) Non-Smash crossovers are fine. You can include Ryu and Lucina if you've played Project X Zone 2 even if you've never touched a Street Fighter or Fire Emblem game.
5) Demos DO NOT count.
6) For characters who have multiple versions of themselves, like the Zelda cast, any version is fine. You can use Twilight Link's design even if you've only played Ocarina of Time, or Wind Waker Toon Link if you've only played Four Swords Adventure. You cannot, however, use Midna if you've only played Skyward Sword.
7) This shouldn't need specifying, but things like Mugen or fan games do not count. Official releases only.
8) Obviously, the above also applies to any new characters you add due to free spaces.
Then post your roster!
Here's mine:
(Super Mario Galaxy, Mario Kart Wii, etc)
(Donkey Kong Country Returns)
(The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time) (The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventure)
(Metroid. Yeah ZSS is kind of a stretch, but Samus appears suit less so for all intents and purposes it counts)
(Kirby's Return to Dreamland)
(Pokémon Moon, Pokémon Y, etc)
(Fire Emblem Awakening, Fire Emblem Heroes, etc)
(Kid Icarus Uprising)
(Pikmin)
(Animal Crossing: New Leaf)
(Punch-Out!! NES, Punch-Out!! Wii)
(EarthBound)
(Xenoblade Chronicles)
(Wii Sports, Wii Sports Resort, etc)
(Donkey Kong Country Returns...thanks, background cameo!)
(Mario Kart DS)
(Ugh...Sonic and the Secret Rings)
(Mega Man 2)
(Pac-Man, Pac-Man 256, Pac-Man World 2)
(Marvel vs Capcom 3)
(I've never played Doctor Mario, and Mario never takes on his Doctor persona in any game I've played)
And then, since I have nine extra slots...
(Yay I get to bring back a veteran...Ice Climber)
Decidueye (Pokémon Moon)
Chrom (Fire Emblem Awakening, Heroes, etc)
Waluigi (Mario Kart DS, etc)
King K. Rool (Mario Super Sluggers)
Henry Fleming (Code Name: S.T.E.A.M.)
Maxwell (Super Scribblenauts)
Crash Bandicoot (Crash Bandicoot)
[Celica] (spot reserved only because I have Shadows of Valentia pre-ordered and fully payed off)
So, what would your rosters look like?
That's a stupid enough title and cash grab for me to believe toby Fox to go for actually. That leak said Undertale DX.
That's hilariously fake.
good thing I had stopped eating there because I laughed pretty hardSuper Smash Bros Deluxe
Since you mentioned you played DKCR, you can actually keep Mr. Game and Watch. He makes a cameo in the background of one of the mountain levels.Let's see...
(Played too many Mario games to count, and I know that I've played Doctor Mario at some point. Oh, and Wario Land 4.)
(Played DKC1 and DKCR)
(Played every Zelda but BotW)
(Super Metroid is one of my all-time favorite games. And I have briefly played Other M, so that gets ZSS in.)
(Played ever Kirby game)
(Played all the Pokemans but Sun/Moon)
(Having played literally every FE but FE1 and Conquest/Revelation)
(Kid Icarus Uprising)
(Played Pikmin 1, 2 and 3.)
(I played the original Animal Crossing a looooong time ago.)
(Punch-Out!! Wii)
(EarthBound)
(Xenoblade Chronicles, though I haven't finished it.)
(Wii Sports, Wii Sports Resort, etc)
(Since he cameo'd in Pikmin 2 and a bunch of other games.)
(Played Sonic 1&2, SA 1&2, Unleashed, Colors, Secret Rings, and Black Knight)
(Played every NES Megaman game, plus 7, 8, 9, and 10, and most of the Gameboy games)
(Had the GBC port of Pac-Man as a kid.)
(Played SF2, 3, 4, Alpha 1-3, MvC 1 and 2, CvS 1 and 2, and SvC Match of the Millennium (the NGPC game.) )
With 4 extra slot's, I'd...
Edit: Derp, forgot about all the cameos R.O.B. has made over the years.-Bring back and
And I'd add:
-Adol Christin from the Ys series.
-Bandana Waddle Dee
Has anyone ever told you for your own good you should explore other characters?Hey, I didn't play Opossum's game.
Well...
R.I.P.
Never played Final Fantasy, Fire Emblem, Pikmin, Kid Icarus, Wii Fit, Mother 3, Xenoblade or Animal Crossing and I honestly don't have interest in them, except for Mother 3.
I played Ocarina of Time for like an hour, but that's it, I didn't consider it XD
I don't remember if I played the NES Punch Out or Game & Watch, but I think I didn't.
So... that's 22 slots.
I use one for Bandana Dee and the power of the other 21 to make him top tier.

(Fire Emblem Awakening, Fire Emblem Heroes, etc)
(Kid Icarus Uprising)
(Pikmin)
(Animal Crossing: New Leaf)
(Punch-Out!! NES, Punch-Out!! Wii)

TRIGGEREEEEDHas anyone ever told you for your own good you should explore other characters?
Because if not?
This is it.
EDIT: Before someone gets up in arms let me add a "" and clarify this is a joke.

His name is Mob damnit!Atta boy, Marvin.
Have played OOT and Mega Man 2. So they are safe.I think you forgot Sheik under the kept roster.
That and Mega Man, so I don't know if he's cut or not, haha.
He'll always be Marvin to me. <4Mudbray? Well, I already used one but I'm not gonna say no to one
Continuing the Jojo references, I mamed him Johnny
>Stamina
I feel like this is a good sign of better RNG to come
His name is Mob damnit!
...well, shoot. Obviously I didn't play it that long then.Since you mentioned you played DKCR, you can actually keep Mr. Game and Watch. He makes a cameo in the background of one of the mountain levels.
I still don't get what you're referencing...He'll always be Marvin to me. <4
Stay:So here's a neat activity.

<4 is a corruption of <3, typically tongue in cheek in nature.I still don't get what you're referencing...
But which version did you preorder?Right after I saw the Injustice 2 DLC trailer I went and prordered the game. Yep, Red Hood and Sub Zero were enough to swayy decision to a purchase. I'm not sorry.
I think you misunderstood the challenge, otherwise I can't see a way Lucina/Jigglypuff would be cut if Pikachu/Charizard/Mewtwo/Robin aren't.Outta Here:
Replacements:
Meowth for Jigglypuff. (Jigglypuff is the most wtf of the Pokemon as well as the laziest of the original 12. She's overstayed her welcome)
King K. Rool for Corrin (Corrin was placed in too soon, Fire Emblem does not deserve as many characters as it has IMO. He should have been the last DLC character.)
Dixie Kong for Lucina (And I say this as someone who likes Lucina as a character and in Smash, but Fire Emblem's recent sales success should not merit more roster inclusions IMO. Place her on the base roster.)
Wolf for Dark Pit (Put the priority put into Dark Pit put into bring Wolf back on the base roster)
Toad for Doctor Mario (Toad is the last of the main stay Mario characters to not be playable, he deserves it more than a clone of Mario who sometimes has spin-offs.)
Yeah, I've noticed Serenes Forest has a tendency to get into those heated, controversial topics every now and then.Serenes Forest is a strange place.
News: FE Echoes sold over 130k in its first week, and 80% of its initial shipment.
Normal people: "Oh hey, that means it sold pretty well, right?"
Serenes Forest: OMG ECHOES FLOPPED!! THIS PROVES OLD-STYLE FE CAN'T SELL ANYMORE!!!!!!!! ECHOES KILLED THE SERIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FE IS DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1!!!!!!!
