Went to a beach cleanup. Found a whole lot of trash, including some gross stuff (that I can't mention in this site).
I also jumped into the freezing cold water because I saw a plastic plant tray. Why? Because we've ****ed up the earth too much as is, and it was worth it to just be freezing cold and wet for a few minutes.

The 3D bit I can pin down to never investigating his title history, which a brief couple of Google searches figured out. This'll sound dumb, but I assumed Rayman 2 was the first one because I never knew it under that title - I only played it as Rayman DS.

Meanwhile I don't know where I would have heard about the genesis of Rayman as a character and design, but those were the parts I was most certain on, so I presume I did.

Here's a fun fact about today: it's not only a special day for Earth, but it is also a special day for Pokemon. On April 22, 2007, Pokemon Diamond and Pearl was first released in North America. Gen 4 technically already celebrated its 10th birthday 7 months ago with the Japanese release of those games on September 28, but I'd thought I'd give a special mention for generation 4's 10th American birthday today.
