I just asked my family and they remember black at the end of the tail too. It's just kind of weird, I remember drawing it like that. I just can remember stuff that I draw, the motion required to make certain characters that I draw and it just feels familiar

Well, yeah. Kid Icarus used to be a classic obscure series until Uprising happened. Not to mention Medusa is just outclassed by the far more likable Uprising cast. Do you want her to be humiliatingly stomped?

And yes, her minions Thanatos and Pandora will be there. I was thinking about Orcos, but he's a forgettable villain. So I might as well have the Eggplant Wizard there because of his infamy and @Arcadenik.

As far as the Black Pikachu Tail Mandela Effect, I think I know where it comes from.

When I drew Pikachu from memory as a kid, I'd draw a black tail tip, and get confused when I looked back to see it fully yellow. Then I realized what was happening.

As a kid, for me anyway, I remembered things in blocks. I remembered Pikachu had SOME added color to its tail, but not specifically what. Turns out what I was remembering was the brown tail BASE. Not the tip. But since you can't see that from the front, it seems off, so you try to fill in the gap. And then you see the ears, which are black capped, and assume the tail must be.


That's my take on it anyway. It's people trying to see Pikachu from memory, remembering the tail not being a solid color, but not seeing the brown tip since you can't from the front...so they fill in the blanks with what they do see, the black ear tips.

Garon is what happens when you have a generic obvious villain that have little character other than laughing maniacally and making others' lives a living hell.

Even the ending proves that he was never a character at all.
