You know, I wish I could answer this, but not even they have an answer of their own. But I do know that they go out of their way to make any evidence for it a conspiracy. For instance, the guy who I linked as said that Einstein came up with the theory of general relativity just to prove the earth was round. Why? Because it helped answer some questions on how the earth is round.


I mean, I could get that one could believe this kind of thing in most third world countries or even if you're from certain communities in a first world countries.

But what bugs me is that these people clearly HAVE seen the clear evidence that the earth is clearly round yet go out of their way to disprove that, do you know what I mean? Being ignorant is one thing, but a ton of people coming together and trying to disprove science with their inaccuracies, and most of them just going with it undoubtedly is just a pretty scary thought.

Man I think my joke fell a little flat there.

But it's certainly very strange to see such a organized movement based on this misconception. The Earth being around is a very old idea, dating back to antiquity even.

Well, I'm back, Carnaval sure was a thing. It was cool even if incredibly exhausting. I'll be wanting do die in the next two weeks because cram school.

Some people forget Masquerain got a nice buff in this Gen (+20 SpA, +20 Spe), allowing it to hit decently and smash things after Quiver Dance. Making it a recomended Bug for your run.
It suffers four-slot sindrome tho.

Yeah, I was pretty happy with it's buffs as I've always liked using it on lower tiers. Quiver Dance makes it very hard to deal with. I usually run Ice Beam with it.

So far my Bug Monotype run has been... difficult to say the least.

Oh yeah, definitely. It's pretty entertaining. I used to browse youtube and watch youtube all the time, except at the time I was a gullible kid that just believed whatever I saw. For instance, the whole 2012 thing scarred me to death at the time for some reason.

Two weeks after getting politely rejected, I see that a girl in the grade has put a notice up on the board in my school's senior lounge asking if anyone's willing to take her to prom, so this mornign I asked her and she said yes! Woo!
She's smart, beautiful, and is going to be valedictorian too. I'm very excited for Prom.

Oh yeah, definitely. It's pretty entertaining. I used to browse youtube and watch youtube all the time, except at the time I was a gullible kid that just believed whatever I saw. For instance, the whole 2012 thing scarred me to death at the time for some reason.

But those were the days when people would play the x files theme and it would be regarded as scary rather than the meme it is now.

When I was young, my dad used to have the radio show "Coast to Coast" on, and it used the X-Files theme and at the time it did freak me out. I didn't even know what the X-Files was at the time, and I actually didn't watch the X-Files until it was on Netflix. Got bored after around season 3 or so.

I never believed the 2012 thing, but it was always in the back of my mind. I kind of felt...Disappointed when it didn't happen. Some kind of weird feeling.

I was having what eventually became an existential crisis back then. Though it didn't take hold until 2014

Conspiracy theories are an odd thing. Otherwise rational people can fell into this bizarre web of conflicting beliefs with very little/faulty evidence.

I remember reading an articulate on NYT about it actually. In summary, conspiracies seem to come from a place of cynicism and trying to reclaim power in what would be very powerless situations.

Yeah I can't believe Tophy killed 3 people, one of them being Star's mother before she was revived. That was pretty damn surprising.
