I've been waiting forever to get into the Xenoverse servers actually. Been having trouble all morning.

But I just got in, and what should greet me but perhaps the most perfectly-named sidekick to my adventures:

Liked the review, especially since it destroyed some notions I had from hearing about the game(I knew about the WT being introduced but I didn't know they had fixed the whole Pegasus->Wyvern thing and giving Knights a promotion).

Are you going to play New Mystery eventually? You'd have to emulate it, of course, but it's not like there's any legal way to play it.

Blake is easily my least favorite character of the main cast but this is just straight up bull****.

Here's a tip: do not buy weeb **** and do not feed onto Del Toro's monster fetish. Use the saved money to buy Etrian Odyssey.

Having half of your be DLC is just straight up bull****.

How can they even call this a crossover when one of the franchises has only two characters in the base game. I'd understand only Team RWBY but this is even worse than the expected Worst Case Scenario.

I'm skipping this game now, it still looks great and I liked some of the characters from BlazBlue and Undernight that I saw but I'm not willing to support this kind of approach to games.

I should mention, though, that the option still exists to make Pegasus Knights promote to Dracoknights. Or more accurately, the Falcon Knight option was added. Basically every class change uses the Master Seal now, with the sole exception of Falcon Knight using the Elysian Whip.

However, since you could only get the Whip through online stuff, physical copies can no longer get it, sadly. Wii U eshop copies and emulated versions can still use it though.

And honestly part of me is still hoping for an official English version one day a la Earthbound Beginnings, but once I get my laptop fixed, I might until an official English version is released.

I literally was talking to friends on wednesday or thursday about how arcsys has a hand in just about every fighter that looks anime, and how great their games were (I was happy because a friend brought in BB CF and I got to play best girl Noel and Nine and Bullet, and then Petra in Arcana Heart).
Then I wake up to see, guess what? You know those two remaining main RWBY cgaracters? Yeah? **** you, they're DLC!
A lot of people are saying there should be a pushback, and they'd wait longer if it meant blake and yang not being dlc. I agree, I would wait more. Here's the thing though, you have 18 or so DLC characters as well.

This idea came to me a few minutes ago, and I really like it. Smash 4 isn't regarded by many esports players as a fighting game, but tbh, it has one of the best roster treatments I've seen in a fighter. Large roster, many new faces and fan favorites. But this is where it gets good. It had unlockables in the base roster, and then slowly released DLC bit by bit.

That is what Arc Sys should do for cross tag battle. Make half of those DLC characters unlockables, and then the other half DLC. Because Idk about others, but for me, having some characters be free dlc, doesn't get you out of 15+ more dlc you have to pay for, even more so when those free dlc shouldn't be dlc in the first place! They shouldn't even be unlockables either, the main characters should always be in the base roster.

Or are those things competitive. Not a huge fan of FEH, but I do like Corrin, and I definitely want a free special Corrin.

You do know that controller is designed after the very first controller that Microsoft made for the original Xbox system that was strongly disliked to the point Microsoft had to make a new, smaller, and more comfortable controller, right?

I don't think it should be too hard. Depending on how good of a team you have you may need to grind a bit more, but it shouldn't be too bad.

There's a variety of level options in every Tempest Trial so there should be one that's at a sufficient level for you.
You'll just have to do more runs though because you get less points towards the Trial rewards.

TT isn't that hard or time consuming unless you go for the top rewards.

I came back in September during the Path of Radiance TT and managed to get a 4* Black Knight out of the TT even though I only had Nino and Brave Lyn as 5* units.

To add onto this, you'd get a free 5* due to the CYL event from the Brave versions of Ike, Lyn, Roy or Lucina, they're all great units so they'd really help.
And this TT is a mini, so despite only lasting a week, all rewards cutoffs are half of what they usually are. Normally, the 5* free unit is at 30k but this time it's at 15k. The 4* version comes even earlier actually so it'd be pretty easy to get at least that one.
And finally, with all the free Orbs you can get from completing the chapters you missed, you'll be able to easily use them for summons.

All of its DLC was already in the game's disc at launch.

The game had 12 DLC characters which were all already fully playable on the disc since day one, all you bought was their unlock key.

Then there's the Gems. It's a system that boosts characters parameters mid battle, which ones depend on which type of Gem loadout did you choose before the fight. It's not hard to tell why it wasn't popular.

Then there was the balance of the characters themselves, Hwoarang was noticeably broken until a big balance patch in 2013 fixed most of these issues. Unfortunately by then the damage had already been done.
