Well, apparently Blazblue Cross-Tag Battle's gotten a Release Date planned: May 31 for Japan and June 5th for NA.
But Blake as DLC and not on the Base roster alongside Ruby and Weiss? That's a tad silly if you ask me.

This is legitimately the first time I'm angry at Arc System Works. I love Guilty Gear, Persona 4 Arena and Dragon Ball FighterZ, but I absolutely hate this. I'm absolutely skipping this game. How the hell do you screw up this badly? I am disappointed beyond belief... I was hyped for this game because it's a crazy dream fight of four cool IPs, but after this announcement... I'm skipping this game for good.

No Blake and Yang on the base roster is incredibly disappointing, but the sheer NERVE to have half of the roster of a game in which only 3 as of now confirmed characters weren't from previous games is ****ing astounding, Blake and the other 19 characters being flaunted like that before launch is such a goddamn jaw dropper. If they expect you to get a full price game and buy half of the goddamn characters they're insane

I'm going to be honest, BBCTB, despite the incoming DLC controversy, will probably get my money form me at some point due to how fun the game looks, but I'm definitely not going to buy any of the DLC outside Blake and (inevitably) Yang.

Im in Chapter 5 and did zero story progress to do sidequests yaaay!

Spoilerless:
-When a quest involves constantly returning to Torigoth

-Bruh, what's up with Demon-Shell Jacob Evasion rate? I was 10 levels above him and I had a hard time hitting him.
-I gave Mythra a Churro
-I opened 10 Rare Cores and got nothing
-I open 20 Commons and get 3 Rares, two of them back to back.
-Got Kora on Nia, Kora has the bestest sidequest of the game... Im cereal.
-After days of taunting me with their silohuettes, got Newt and Perceval.

This... is basically where I started to stop continuing the story and keep getting rare Blades and doing quest to this day... wow...
- After at a very high level... I start to ignore that driver and went to deal with the Torbart...
- It's probably it's rage attack... don't like that...
- Man you sure got luck... now I am a bit frustrated on getting rare Blades...
- NO!!!! I want Kora!!!!
- There's... one Blade I don't know who it is... hm...

Anywho, a few days ago I said I'd post my thoughts on Shadow Dragon after FINALLY completing it after a slew of technical issues on my end. With that, here we go. Review/Impressions time.

Liked the review, especially since it destroyed some notions I had from hearing about the game(I knew about the WT being introduced but I didn't know they had fixed the whole Pegasus->Wyvern thing and giving Knights a promotion).

Are you going to play New Mystery eventually? You'd have to emulate it, of course, but it's not like there's any legal way to play it.

Yeah, much like the rest of the replies I'm seeing, my hype went down immensely.
Having half of your be DLC is just straight up bull****.

How can they even call this a crossover when one of the franchises has only two characters in the base game. I'd understand only Team RWBY but this is even worse than the expected Worst Case Scenario.

I'm skipping this game now, it still looks great and I liked some of the characters from BlazBlue and Undernight that I saw but I'm not willing to support this kind of approach to games.

BB Cross has ****ing 20 and as much as Im sure I would by the game, 20 characters shouldn't be DLC.

Here we are as Captain Ginyu somewhere in the middle of the body change mission, spanking a fat, green, worthless sack.

I'm still not all that familiar with the controls. I'd say I'm learning, but I'm really not; I'm just putting all my points into basic attacks and spamming mouse clicks until things work.

And although its consistency leaves something to be desired, if someone's up on me, I can spam spacebar and left clicks and find myself behind them and pounding their ***. Sometimes. Apparently only works when the engine's in the mood.

I've also learned that the E button does nothing, ever; the Q button does nothing, mostly; and holding shift to fly everywhere is the MLG strat.

Own both. Had Xenoverse installed, but not Xenoverse 2. I am not a patient man.

It's installed now though and I kind of want to dip into 2 but Beef is by no means ready to transfer. I know grinding him to 99 is a moot point but his skillset is lackluster at best and I'd at least like to bolster that some.
