Well, we know Sol Katti, Siegmund, Hauteclere, Mystleteinn, Fujin Yumi and Jaffer's Deathly Dagger are capable of upgrading. If the other ones are capable of upgrading, like Binding Blade or Armads, than we have yet to see what buffs they will get. We know Siegmund gets a 2nd attack regardless of Speed when Ephraim's above 90% health. Maybe Roy will get Distant Counter?

That was a really good Heroes broadcast.

Lute and Joshua are among my favorite Sacred Stones characters, especially the latter, so I'm glad they're finally getting their chance to shine in Heroes. The latter being a Tempest Trials reward is cool too. Hope he has some solid skills and stats.

With Joshua in Heroes now, the only Sacred Stones character that I really want in the game at this point is Forde, but I guess I'll have to wait for now.

Looks like they're trying to make those spread-damage abilities more useful by lowering their cooldown, but I'm not sure if they'll still see use.

That weapon refinery mode looks cool. The fact it makes weapons stronger and can boost a unit's stats is solid, and I can already tell it will change the meta into some interesting ways. The cost to upgrade the weapons is quite expensive though. Hopefully, arena mode will provide a good amount of those necessary materials.

Also, my boy Takumi is among the units that can get a legendary weapon upgrade! That's awesome! Perhaps this will be his chance to reclaim the meta spotlight!

Zelda bias aside...
I do honestly think BotW is GOTY, keep in mind I've only played BOTW and Odyssey so I only have them to compare, though based on the general consensus it'll likely be one of them that'll win anyways, but I did honestly find it a much more solid game and enjoyable experience...

The whole "do whatever the hell you want, who even cares about Ganon or kill him NOW!!" that the game evokes as well as the super fun physics engine that even now people are finding new stuff to do with this, as well as the vastness and exploration that the game offers and the rewards you get for exploring...

The overall feelings of discovering something unexpected within this world and the empowerment you felt, it was just a lot more satisfying that finding more Power Moons or Purple coins to me (though BotW did have it's versions of collectibles; Koroks didn't quite play as big of a role as Odyssey's Power Moons but they were still useful enough for you to want to seek them out)...Though Odyssey does have a much meatier post-game...technically BotW could have pretty much the entire game as post-game since once again "who even cares about Ganon or kill him NOW!!"

I do have to say though Mario's capping ability was a huge selling point for the game and playing as a ****ing t-rex shredding the **** out of everything was really frikking awesome and the really clever platforming that came with some of the abilities...and it's something that really makes it stand out as a game and makes it a really strong contender overall...

The fact that the 12 character banner has no pity breakers and an 8% starting rate has me hyped. Now the worst case scenario when trying to pull for Celica is either a second Ike to give Heavy Blade to my Chrom, or Ayra.

That's not even counting the fact that Marvel's Loki also became a female at one point. So I would not be surprised if Loki's true form was a woman in this.
That being said, I would say Loki is more mid-boss material rather than final boss material.

I have Bride Lyn and considering her weapon prevents the enemy she attacks from countering after being hit, I am very interested in knowing what Candlelight+ does. Revyatein? It sounds like an original name, as searching it up brings nothing up. But that being said, the name does bear a resemblance to Laevateinn, the sword of Freyr and eventually Surtr. That's not even thinking about how Japanese R words tend to use a L sound, making it sound like Laevateinn even more.
Laevateinn was a sword crafted by the elf Völundr that was so lethal even the gods were afraid. They took it and gave it to the god Freyr to hold onto, but he traded it for the hand of the giantess Gerðr. At Ragnarok, Surtr used Laevateinn to sever the roots of Yggdrasil, instigating the universe's destruction and Freyr would eventually fall to the sword he was tasked to carry.

The correct spelling would be Lævateinn, a name of a weapon from Norse mythology (so borrowing from the same sources as lots of other stuff in Heroes). It bears a connection to Loki:

("Lopt" is an alternative name for Loki in Norse mythology. Within the context of Fire Emblem, it could also refer to Loptyr, of Genealogy of the Holy War, but given the context of Heroes specifically, they more likely mean to connect Lævateinn to Loki, the shape-shifter who has been hanging around Veronica lately.)

I think one of the huge benefits of seeing the Weapon Refinery is seeing the actual upgradable weapons. Like Killing weapons to Slaying Weapons and Tyrfing, Durandal, Aura, Excalibur and Naga to their more powerful versions.

Glacies needs to be 4 cooldown because Iceberg is the faster version.

It just accelerates special trigger like Eldigan's(not trying to write that). Compare to, say, Cursed Lance who alsp has a mini-Fury effect and that's on a free unit

Dorcas changes the B-Slot flexibility for the A-Slot.
In one hand, he can run Fury or his new A-Skill
On the other, Dorcas can't run Vantage with QR which is what makes Hector so damn scary.
Still, some more Mov will definitely make him relevant as long as his stats aren't complete garbage

Audhulma is Res +5 (not sure if this is a typo or not, since it outdoes even the Res +3 skill but like that even matters any more) and the killer effect. I don't think we know his other skills yet, but in the story map he comes with Moonbow, Close Def, Windsweep, and Speed Smoke, and those are usually a good indicator of what skills he will actually have (he probably won't have all five, though).

35 Spd is pretty middle of the road these days. Not terrible, and he'll avoid getting doubled by a good chunk of the cast, but he'll still get doubled by the likes of Fury Ryoma, and struggle to double an awful lot of units. It's in a good spot for getting patched up via summoner support, though.

Mia's 40 Spd is indeed pretty ludicrous. Even beats out Lon'qu, the former speed king (39 Spd at neutral). And her A skill is basically a Spd-based Heavy Blade. She will be fun to deal with.

We don't know his skills, but Audhulma we do know now since the other's have been revealed.

Joshua looks to be the tankiest of the Myrmidons. His Defense just about rivals Ayra(A:31/J:30) and his Res(28) rivals with Lyn, but with his Audhulma, his Resistance(33) goes just under +Res Fir(34). He reaches 35 Speed, which is -2 under Navaare and -4 with Neutral Lonqu. 31 Attack is the same as Navaare, -2 under Neutral Ayra and -4 under Neutral Hana. But compared to other Myrmidons, he looks like he can utilise Life & Death 3 without much weakness, as he would have 25 Defense and 28 Res with Life & Death 3.

Luckily I'm not too bothered about anyone on the 8% banner (though of course some spare Celicas or Hectors or Ikes for skill fodder would be nice), so I'll probably end up mostly passing on that.

Audhulma is Res +5 (not sure if this is a typo or not, since it outdoes even the Res +3 skill but like that even matters any more) and the killer effect. I don't think we know his other skills yet, but in the story map he comes with Moonbow, Close Def, Windsweep, and Speed Smoke, and those are usually a good indicator of what skills he will actually have (he probably won't have all five, though).

35 Spd is pretty middle of the road these days. Not terrible, and he'll avoid getting doubled by a good chunk of the cast, but he'll still get doubled by the likes of Fury Ryoma, and struggle to double an awful lot of units. It's in a good spot for getting patched up via summoner support, though.

Mia's 40 Spd is indeed pretty ludicrous. Even beats out Lon'qu, the former speed king (39 Spd at neutral). And her A skill is basically a Spd-based Heavy Blade. She will be fun to deal with.

I just did the Paralogue and he only has Spd Smoke in the last one while having the rest of the skills in both chapters he's in.

Audhulma is sorta disappointing tbh, I mean, either Hauteclare and Myssletain will only get a stat boost like that too or Joshua will be powercreeped in two seconds lol

I was confused as to why he had Close Def and Windseep because I thought Windsweep just outright prevented him from doubling but as my Hector can confirm, that's not the case lol.
I think I get the idea behind his base kit, he's fast enough to proc Windsweep on most units so he can attack in the Player Phase without fear of retaliation and tank the enemy phase. And with 1 cooldown Moonbow he'll be proccing it a lot. It's... weird for a Myrmidon but I guess it's unique. I get that Res +5 was always Audhulma's effect but it seems kinda counterproductive to his kit considering the whole point is for him to tank at Melee range.

But overall, I can't really complain with him being free and all. I don't think he needs Flashing Blade since his special has only 1 cooldown but I wonder if he'd do better with some 3(2) cooldown special.

36 Def and 33 Res on enemy phase is still super weird for him, he has more effective Def than my -Def Hector and more Res than any unit I have except Arvis.


Now to theorise about Sacred Seals, Phantom Speed or what else?

So, IS brought back a lot of goodwill with that. Staff buffs, weapon upgrades, a new story in the near future, and really interesting new units available already! Now all I need is something to break the right way, and-

I have a bad feeling about this.

First set: 2 red, 2 blue, 1 colorless (didn't pull). 3* Sophia, 4* Raigh, 4* Gwen, 3* Sully.

Got the paralogue orbs, tried again. 1 red, 1, blue, 3 colorless. The blue was a 4* Oboro, because of course it was.

Least the red was a 4* Roy...

It doesn't seen like the barracks have been expanded yet. I guess the thing about the maintenance being for an update at the end of the month was literal, everything but the current banner and Tempest Trials on Monday will only be added later.

I guess it's good to give some breathing room since we just received all these news but they could have buffed Staves already.
Also, I just realised Fujin Yumi is on the list of upgradeable Legendary weapons so I guess Takumi will finally ear the buff he deserves because Pass 2 was a joke

I know I don't contribute much to the forums anymore, but on the FE Heroes news, I'm pretty excited about the updates - Joshua, Dorcas, Lute, Mia, Book II... All this has me hyped! Although I'm still trying to get Vampire Henry before the Halloween Banner disappears, Dorcas seems like a contender for the next Green Unit I want the most. Also I'm gonna aim for DOUBLE Joshua during the Tempest Trial when it goes live next time.

Either way, solid new update to FEH.

It just accelerates special trigger like Eldigan's(not trying to write that). Compare to, say, Cursed Lance who alsp has a mini-Fury effect and that's on a free unit

I know, but accelerating the special trigger is great on a 16 Mt weapon.

Minerva doesn't need the Fury effect since she has Life and Death already.

Basically, Joshua is a melee tank, surprisingly, and this set allows him to make use of the newly buffed Sol
Windsweep gives him a free attack on Player Phase and by doing (Joshua attacks->Enemy attacks->Joshua counters) he should be able to proc it on the counter, healing the damage that is probably not that much with 36 Def.
Threaten Atk 3 allows him to continue tanking and Atk Smoke is an option to preemptively debuff other enemy units.
Phantom Speed ensures he procs Windsweep most of the time so it's a safer choice but he shouldn't sit in front of someone who can double him.

Pls IS give me a Close Def seal on this TT so Joshua will have 42 Def on enemy phase against melee units
