I don't think something has ever had me question something else than the more important question so quickly before. This has given me several questions that I am very curious to know how they'll be answered.

Fire Emblem Warriors just continues to disappoint. But it's expected to disappoint at this point so it's...kinda not disappointing?

I'll get it cheap or something or maybe I'll get it for Christmas from my brother or something. Not shelling out €60 for this and more money for DLC, definitely not. Hyrule Warriors gave me much more value for my money.

I swear to god though, if Niles is still just a Takumi clone like Sakura and Anna, and he probably will be...hoo boy.

Minerva is a cool choice but they'll probably make her a Camilla clone too.

Warriors music are usually good. SW4, DW7 and WO3 soundtracks being great examples.

I listened to the FEW soundtrack.
The remixes are incredible but they're not enough for me to want this game.

Caeda is in Heroes too. Where she uses a sword, which she isn't using in Warriors.

Yes, because Heroes is what determines FE canon.

And lol Gaius isn't even in Fates, his clone doesn't count. And by that logic, Owain should have been a tome user because he uses a Tome in Fates meaning that's the way they intended

We've already heard some of the music since like, last month, due to it being included in FE Heroes for the Warriors maps.

It's good but it's not "buy the game" good. Doesn't match Hyrule Warriors quality either IMO.

-Fates' character selection is disappointing. But it's more disappointing when 2 characters are technically already in and 1 is just the last remaining siblings. On the other hand, I might give it the benefit of the doubt of it makes Niles more different from Takumi and Sakura, as I heard Niles, Owain and Navarre are way too similar(in some cases, I heard they are clones) to Takumi & Ryoma respectively.
-Shadow Dragon's character is nice. Minerva and Linde are solid choices and I'm excited for Minerva. I'm wondering if Linde was chosen over Merric as Linde technically has Light Magic while Takumi sorta has the Wind Magic taken with Fujin Yumi. But who knows? Either way, once again, benefit of the doubt if it makes Navarre different from Ryoma/Lyn.
-Awakening has a nice surprise with Olivia. Tharja was expected. And benefit of doubt if Owain is different from Ryoma.

And last, I'm curious what the "Weapons" and Costumes are. Are the "Weapons" potentially going to be something like Hyrule Warriors? Might we see Chrom use a Spear? Or Lyn using a Bow? Also, while we know about the Bride costume for Lucina, what will the costumes from the DLC be? Will they be references to characters or their classes? Will they be characters? I mean, how would people feel if some of the costumes are characters?

But with that out of the way, I still have several questions regarding "Broken-Armor Models."

Navarre is a Lyn clone.
Niles is a Takumi clone (and Sakura and Anna already were).
Owain is a Ryoma clone.

Broken-Armour models is probably exactly like it says on the tin, battle damage models similar to the ones you see after taking a heavy hit in Fates, for example, or even like the damage artwork in Heroes.

My problem with the game is that not only are they locking content that should've been in the base game behind a pay wall, but the DLC character selection itself is lackluster.
I only care about one character in the Awakening pack and 2 characters in the Fates pack (Which is ironic considering Awakening has more characters I care about then Fates) and ALL 3 OF THEM SHOULD'VE BEEN IN THE BASE GAME. Doesn't help that 2 of them are clones.
I can't comment on the Shadow Dragon DLC though, since I haven't played the game yet.

On the one hand I'm really happy Minerva and Linde are there since I've been wanting the former since the three game focus was announced and I liked Linde from what we got of her in SD. However, I'm really irritated that the NPC group is paid DLC since all signs point to them being close to being finished. Unless they're released with some changes to make them more unique it's very questionable that they decided to hold them off like that.

Am cool with Minerva & Linde (I always choose her over Merric). Not a fan, but I'm still surprised Azura wasn't on the base roster. Meh for everyone else.

Not unlike TMS & Fates, my overall thoughts are that it's underwhelming, but it still looks like a good game that I'll pick up someday. Complaining about the roster ultimately feels one-note in that regard. For now I'd rather invest in completing my CIB collection or framing my Nintendo Dream posters.

Man, today has gotta be an awful day for IntSystem's PR team.

First the Ayra situation in Heroes, now FE Warriors locking basically finished content that also happens to be clone characters behind a paywall and just overall having a super underwhelming roster even after DLC (yaaaaay, Azura...).

What's next, they announce FE Switch is a Fates sequel? :V

Y'know, I originally planned to buy Warriors.
I'm very new to the franchise so the lack of characters from old games didn't bother me, though I can see why people would be upset over it.
But with how they're basically releasing an 85% game and locking the rest behind a pay wall AND add OLIVIA of all the Awakening characters they could choose, I lost interest.

Not terrible but outside of Ryoma, Takumi and Marth, nobody I'm particularly passionate about is there. And those three were expected.

I was hoping there would be a wider variety of characters though, mainly so I could get more interested in older games before I play them. And I really wanted an SoV DLC pack (I understand it was unreasonable for the base game except for Celica because she was the producer's waifu and Nintendo wanted some last minute promotion for SoV in there or something, but a DLC pack for that felt like a no-brainer). DLC packs for other old games could have made up for things too, but they took the extra lazy route instead.

On top of the game apparently having a really dull story mode, and clones, and the VA problems and stuff like the botched textures in some places and the game just looks very underwhelming. And to be honest, History Mode doesn't look as fun as HW Adventure Mode to me. Soooo yeah.
