For what its worth, I think it was the best decision for Pumpkaboo to take the time off here for now. For what made her unhappy, she can now go leave behind.

In this version the UB coming from the Wormhole at Aether Paradise is not a Nihilego, but a new UB. Lusamine is not evil due toxins, and Faba and/or another new squad of bad dudes take the antagonic place, corrupting Aether's personnel again. Lillie uses her second outfit from the beginning, and her and Gladion are on the run due the new villains wanting Type: Null and Cosmog. Lillie's development now is about her becoming a competent trainer.

Mohn still doesn't give a **** at Pelago and Guzma is the Champion.

Holy ****, Area 6 boss of Samus Returns spoilers

It's actually really ****ing easy to cheese Diggernaut. During the attack that it tries sucking you in, you can use the Spider Ball to stay on the ground and spawn more bombs at it, plus, during the final phase where it rotates it's head, you can use Lightning Armour to ignore the electricity or Phase Drift to move faster so you can possibly hit all 3 weak points in one cycle. I wish I knew that earlier as he does a **** ton of damage

The outfit of the dude looks like a mix of the Aether and Galactic uniforms for me.

Why is Mewtwo pokemon number 150 and Mew 151 when Mew was discovered before Mewtwo then cloned to create Mewtwo, in gen 1 at least saying the pokemon that became Mewtwo was birthed by Mew

a. Mew wasn't originally supposed to be a Pokémon you could get in the first place, only Mewtwo. Mew was programmed into the game at the last minute in secret by one guy using leftover data.

b. It makes no sense for there to be a blank place in the Dex for Mew right before Mewtwo when the latter is the one that you can find in-game (without glitches) and the former is an event-only distribution (again, without glitches).

c. Mew isn't required for completing the Dex and getting the Diploma BECAUSE it is an event-only distribution that you weren't originally supposed to be able to obtain in the first place that was a secret last minute addition. Having an unfillable blank above Mewtwo would defeat that entire purpose.

No in-universe explanation.

Other than that kid that is surprised to get a Mewtwo through Wonder Trade, no one really mentions Mew/Mewtwo in-game in any of the main games to my knowledge.
Aside from the original documents on Mewtwo's creation on Cinnabar, I mean.

I've been thinking something similar, myself.

In the main timeline, Faba was already acting more or less independently of Lusamine and using her insanity for his own devices, taking a faction of the Aether Foundation's crew and dipping into increasingly amoral mad scientist stuff. Maybe he'll take that faction and splinter off this time around? Or maybe he'll stage a hostile takeover?

Meanwhile, Lillie seems to be doing better, not stuck in a Nihilego-themed outfit and apparently already a trainer. Will Snowy exist in the game canon now? We did see an Alolan Vulpix being cared for by Aether employees in that one scene.

And have we seen Team Skull at all yet?
