I got two copies of a game and tried to cheat by copying one save file to the other so I could trade between them faster

Apparently the games are coded in some way that it can tell the save file wasn't from that game and it corrupted the save

So I'll post about my rpg a bit. It's basically FE if it were a turn based rpg. All the stats only raise up 1 point upon leveling up(if at all), every stat has a % chance to raise. There's 30 playable characters(8 possibly being dlc characters). Each character has a special ability no other character has(well 3 characters have a secondary ability to steal). You can only choose 5 for the entire run forcing you to have to figure out how to get through the game with what you have. The 8 (probable) dlc characters making the game a little easier. So I'll post about my rpg a bit. It's basically FE if it were a turn based rpg. All the stats only raise up 1 point upon leveling up(if at all), every stat has a % chance to raise. There's 30 playable characters(8 possibly being dlc characters). Each character has a special ability no other character has(well 3 characters have a secondary ability to steal). You can only choose 5 for the entire run forcing you to have to figure out how to get through the game with what you have. The 8 (probable) dlc characters making the game a little easier. Here are the characters in the spoiler tag below and yes... I love giving people ridiculous names on the verge of dumb.

I'm going to take a guess which would either be XP or MV then. I was thinking 2000 but from my memory it only had stat slots limited to HP, MP, ATK, DEF, and RES. I remember years ago someone (I think on Serenes Forest) actually made a well-developed Fire Emblem demo by using RPG Maker XP. It was a prequel on Blazing Sword.

If you're not using a PC version of RPG Maker, then I have to say I'm impressed with those large ideas you got there.

You'd be thinking of Immortal Sword. Though it's long since moved on from the original FEXP to an original XNA Framework based engine.

...though how it's faring currently I've no idea. i haven't followed the progress of that games development in ages.
