Brock and Misty coming back the anime is so hype. It also says he visits his old pokemon so that should be great!

i don't think the 25 cards for the Warriors special edition means anything. It just said 25, not much to go off of. Didn't say there's one for every character, didn't say if some characters have multiple, shoot, for all we know they could be double sided (so 50 in total). i think all we can take from this is that Elise and Sakura are probably in (empty spot next to the little brothers for Fates? Hmmm doesnt look suspicious at all)

Okay, twenty five characters supposedly at launch, eh? Prediction time.

Confirmed:

Warriors - Rowan, Lianna
Shadow Dragon - Marth, (Tiki)
Awakening - Chrom, Robin, Lucina, Lissa, Frederick, Cordelia
Fates - Corrin, Ryoma, Xander, Takumi, Leo, Hinoka, Camilla

So far that's sixteen, not including Tiki and not including Female Robin as separate.

Tiki is basically confirmed due to the amiibo, so let's say seventeen. That leaves about eight characters. I vaguely remember them saying there was at least one more Awakening character left, and Azura is incredibly likely, so most of the rest will likely be from Shadow Dragon.

Prediction for remaining characters: Caeda, Minerva, Merric, Draug, one out of Camus or Jagen, Azura, and at least one out of Virion and Tharja.

The issue comes with whether or not villains or character variants get cards, and if npcs get them or not. If, say. Female Robin gets her own card, for example, I'm much less confident in Tharja's odds, for example.

Justifications:

Caeda - Plot important, popular, basically the quintessential Pegasus Knight, Marth's betrothed, wields a legendary weapon
Minerva - Plot important, popular, gives us another Wyvern Rider, gives us another axe, wields a legendary weapon
Merric - Minor plot importance, gives us another Mage, Marth's best friend and eventual brother in law, wields a legendary weapon
Draug - Early recruit, mostly on here to give us an armored knight. Can wield whatever they want him too. He was also in TMS
Camus/Jagen - Jagen if they go for plot relevant/early recruit, Camus if they want popularity. We'd finally get a Lance Paladin.
Azura - Basically the second most important Fates character after Corrin, gives us another lance. Popular.
Virion - Gives us a second bow, minor plot importance, IS put him in TMS and gave him as the canon fourth unit in Heroes
Tharja - Popular, gives another tome, TMS

Of these, if some drop off due to villains or alts getting cards, I'm least confident in Draug/Virion/Tharja, otherwise known as the TMS trio. :p

Oh nice, the Phantom of the Bwahpera song in Mario + Rabbids is longer than what we heard in the game's second trailer.

Looking forward to hearing it.

Hard to believe that song and Super Mario Odyssey's "Jump Up, Super Star!" are the first ever Mario songs with lyrics in them

so im gonna make my final guess at the roster for FEW now

OC's
Rowan
Liliana

Shadow Dragon
Marth
Tiki
Cain
Abel (cain variant)
Ceada
Navarre
Draug
Merric

Awakening
Chrom
Fredrick
Lissa
Robin
Robin(Fem)
Cordileia
Lucina
Tharja
Virion

Fates:Revelations
Corrin
Corrin(male)
Azura
Xander
Leo
Camilla
Ryoma
Hinoka
Takumi

characters not covered by the art cards because lol villains
Darius
Medius
Gangrel
Garron

so im predicting a 32 character roster, which yes is 7 more than the art cards however im betting the 3 variant characters wont be on the art cards/ will share an art card with the character they are based on
and neither will my last category because well look at the name

Here are some Marvel vs Capcom Infinite Supers...

And uh...

Am I the only one who thinks they're kind of lame?

I just re-watched that Dissidia replay from earlier and only now noticed one of the opposing player's usernames.

Of course the Bartz player has a meme name. Of course.

The Hulk's is really anti-climactic (especially since it's the Hulk), and Ghost Rider's is just lame. I get that it's the Penance Stare, but even Marvel vs. Capcom 3 (which this game is borrowing heavily from) did a much better job. Some others, like Zero's, were ones that I could miss if I blinked at the wrong time.

There's some decent ones in here, but a lot of them seem to end really abruptly.

Quite excited for Mario + Rabbids. Picked up my collector's edition today, and boy does it look good. (Timezones if anyone's wondering how I have it) The statue is pretty good quality, and the OST and cards are a nice bonus too. I plan to start playing after I've done some uni work for the day, but I'm hoping it will be a ton of fun - and that I'm sure of.

To be fair, some were obviously reported from MVC3 - and quite a number to list. There are some hype Level 3s there though, such as Jedah's Blood Contract, and Ryu overcoming the Satsui no Hadou. Ultron and Thanos are pretty decent, but there are definitely some that need work or revision (Case in point, Ghost Rider, Flank West to polish up the face a tad).

Spencer's Level 3 is as exciting as he is in this game.

MVC:I is in an awkward position. I want to get it since the gameplay looks pretty fun - the Infinity Stones and the new Counter-Switch Mechanic could open countless amounts of metagame potential. Then I remember the really janky bits about the game: No X-Men, we lose so many fan-favourite veterans on both sides, and gain so little newcomers in the base game. There is so much to improve about MVC:I in terms of graphic polish and character roster.

Admittedly, I've decided to take a slight gamble and pre-ordered the Standard Edition for now. I only pre-order games that I think will give me a sense of fun, and if I think that it'd be worth reserving a copy aside. There have only been a few games that I've pre-ordered that disappointed me immensely - (prime example being Street Fighter V, and the last time I ever pre-ordered in full), but I think Mahvel might have more worthwhile content in comparison to the vanilla SFV.

Most of them were alright I think. I like Spider-Man's, Jedah's and Mega Man X's. The other ones I liked were already in other titles.

Except for Ghost Rider's. How you manage to **** up the Penace Stare is beyond me. Should have just zoomed in on his face like in UMVC3.

Who needs 200 pokeballs? They are useless after like the first gym. Whenever you get great balls

Hell, I almost never even use great balls because a few gyms later Ultra balls

Or sometimes dusk balls before then

OMG I made chicken broth today for my cat hoping it will get her more liquids. And she apparently hates chicken broth

THat's like $10 wasted

I mixed some in with her food and she refused to eat it

So I gave her regular food mixed with water and she's eating that fine

Nintendo have confirmed what we all knew was coming; the impending demise of Miiverse:
https://www.nintendo.co.jp/support/information/2017/0829_miiverse.html

Basically, it says that Miiverse will be closed down at 3pm Japan time on November 11, and they will allow you to download an archive of your own posts before it closes. It also lists off all the games that will be affected (e.g. you won't see other people's messages in New Super Mario Bros. U any more), and says that Super Mario Maker course sharing won't be affected. It doesn't say if this is only for Japan, or worldwide, but I doubt they'll keep it up for the rest of the world after closing it in Japan.

I'm actually really worried about my cat because she has had no appetite today and had issues the last couple days

I might have to take her to the vet tomorrow

I didn't care much about Miiverse but it was the only way to get screenshots on the 3DS so it's gonna suck once it's gone :/

According to the FE Heroes datamine, a Support System is being added to the game under Advanced Growth.

Also people now think there could be an FE anime on the way due to a potential teaser on Lucina's artwork.

Eh?

Why **** on the soundtrack? It's legitimately incredible.
Idk man it's FGC Twitter. If there's one thing they agree on is that SFV and Capcom suck for a variety of (valid or not) reasons.

Are we talking actual support conversations here?
Not sure if we know that yet. I'd wager no. It's probably gonna be a universal thing so that your main characters can buff each other. Who knows though, maybe they'll have conversations for specific pairings.

Also for Sonic Mania fans, the PC version will have bugfixes and a separate super transformation button ready to go. Console versions getting a patch with the same stuff soon.

There was a problem fetching the tweet

RIP to Miiverse. We will never forget the times on a very dysfunctional social media platform. :p

Oh thank god we will get a dedicated super button. There are times I want to glide with Knuckles, but I can't because he goes super after 50 rings.
