Oh yeah, it seems next week's MHA episode will be anime-original, focusing on the other characters' interships.
Guess that's one way to fill the 26 episodes without slowing down the pacing considerably, and while it's effectivelly filler, it'll also be as canon as the expanded Sports Festival fights.

Good news about Shifty Station! You'll never have to see that layout again.

Personally I didn't really MIND it, but I like playing on the primary stages better. Especially when I discover a tiny little cheaty walkway I can use to get into the enemy base like on Inkblot or Musselforge because it makes me feel clever, LOL. These stages may not feel as different from each other as the original game's ones at first blush, but they've managed to hide some interesting secrets into the layouts that I'm sure we'll all figure out over time and will give each stage it's own tactics and identities. Like, there's a little side path ON the little side path on Starfish Mainstage if someone had the foresight to set up an ambush.

I liked Shifty Station...I noticed a lot of people fell off of it, so maybe as someone that never fell off of it, that's probably why...

I thought it was an interesting stage and would prefer if it weren't exclusive to Splatfests...

Something that is bothering me about some Splatoon 2 stages is that it can be really easy to camp and lock the opposition in place. I know you gotta git gud to counter it but I play solo and I don't get to pick my team lol. Shifty Station felt a bit like that. Also it took SO long to paint those huge sections haha.

I'm trying to wait until the season is over to watch all of it. Glad to hear some fights in the Festival will be expanded. Some had really good match-ups. I still have some Dragon Ball Super to catch up on too, but only an episode or two.

Just beat Blaster Master Zero. Neat game.


It isnt spectacular and it has some serious issues, but it's fun.

Pros

• Blasting is satisfying at the beginning. A lot of different weapons story out almost instantaneously
• Tank gameplay is pretty much always good. that includes platforming
• If you like obliterating things, and killing things fast, this is the game for you

Cons

• Way too easy. Especailly the pilot sections where you can just beat everything with the wave beam or penetrator before it's even a threat
• Tank aiming is obnoxious
• Someone decided this game needs a water area, and a stealth section
• The game has a bad ending and it's super duper depressing, and there is no way im backtracking to get all of the ****. :/

I'm up for places that are a good aesthetic fit for Splatoon's theme, Blackbelly Skatepark is my pick of the day. And no, a BMX track is not the same kind of teen hangout as a skatepark,

Basically I'm cool with whatever, just give me a place I'd actually want to hang out at. You know, the sort of place you'd check out in your free time or plan a day trip around, that sort of thing. After all, if a stage gets really bad, they might just yank it from the lineup for a bit and redo it.

You know, give me a stage I'd go into recon just for the sake of. Or ten.
