1. Not really
2. Indeed I do
3. "Whoa that's pretty cool"
4. "Did not see that coming"
5. Just Prime 3 and Fusion
6. I'm excited for those who are excited
7. I don't really care either way
8. No and any competition people try to instigate is pointless
9. Looks like a neat mechanic
10. Idek what those are
11. Yeah they will
12. I'm not even gonna buy it
13. I don't really know... or care
FEW
1. She's okay
2. They are both equally mediocre to me but I give male Robin the edge just because fanart portrays him as a huge dork which I enjoy
3. Yeah it looks good
4. Flying is nice
5. Probably Tharja or someone else from Awakening. I don't see more Fates characters being revealed yet.
Since I don't follow Metroid, I'll carry own with these questions.
1. She's a strong and useful asset in my Awakening files. She has a pretty design and likable personality, even though her obsession on Chrom can be somewhat of a turn off. She's got nothing on Hinoka though.
2. I don't. They're about as equal as far as I am concerned. Though if I had to pick, it would be Male Robin since he's cooler.
3. I don't have a strong opinion on the graphical display so yeah sure.
4. I wonder how their movesets are going to be like? Other than the obvious fact with the archers, I can imagine cool stuff they would have in their Musou attacks. It would be cool if they had the Triangle Attack implemented too even though I wouldn't have any idea how it'd work.
5. Hoshidan Royals? I'd like to see Hinoka in particular.
1. Yeah.
2. Not really, mostly for Prime 4, but it's probably due to the 3DS, which some people are over now. On top of that, a lot of people liked AM2R as is.
3. And I quote "Oh ****, yeah *****!"
4. I haven't played the OG Metroid 2.
5. Metroid 1, Super Metroid, Metroid Prime 1, Prime 2, Prime Hunters I've beaten all but the first. I think I either played a brief amount of either Fusion or Zero mission, it's been a long time.
6. Sure! Even if I do like the 3D games a little more.
7. Again, yes.
8. Likely, I mean they are remakes of the same game.
9. Seems pretty cool.
10. I need to see more of it before I can make any good judgement.
11. It'll be 50/50 in a way. A lot of people liked the fan-game. So some people might prefer that. People are also (rightfully) more critical of a major company than any rag tag team of fans or solo madmen.
12. Probably, I liked all of the Metroid games I've played before, despite some issues with the first title, which is just First Game Jank.
13. Probably not. Nor do I care that much.
And I can't say I care for any Warriors game like that. The combat gets repetitive too quickly and mowing down scores of dudes isn't impressive if they all stand around like morons. You only need to play one every once and a while if you want your fill.
Metroid Samus Returns
1. YES!!
2. Not sure what you mean by 'around me'...If you mean locally or through people I know IRL then yes
3. *Loud Gasp* Then silence for 5 minutes due to complete and utter shock, then a small amount of denial thinking I didn't see what I actually saw...
4. When Reggie's about to reveal a new 3ds game '2D metroid? prrft lol'.........*background environment shows*...'Oh **** this is actually metroid'..... *Metroid appears I then proceed to freak out*...Also knew it was a Metroid II remake when the Gamma Metroid showed...
5. Everything but Pinball
6. Yes! Bout time!
7. Yes!
8. There's a few asshats that'll not buy it because of AM2R, but I don't think it'll make too big of a difference
9. Awesome! I've wanted some sort of close range melee attack in a Metroid game...
10. Pretty neat so far...basically a magic meter in a Metroid game now, but still cool to see them give Samus some more abilities that she can make use of
11. Overall I think it'll be a well received game, Metroidvanias in general have been gaining in popularity for the past few years and now that one of the definitive Metroidvania series is back there'll be a lot of excitement about the game...
12. Yes...Unlike Other M Metroid II's story most likely won't get in the way of gameplay (which looks good) and is a proper Metroid experience with no overemphasis on multiplayer unlike Federation Force
13. It's possible there'll be something extra at the end of the game...Perhaps they'll show Samus true intentions behind sparing the Metroid Hatchling, most likely because she not only saw herself in the baby but also that she is now the 'monster' that completely wiped out it's kind...
Fire Emblem Warriors
1. Yes. She's one of my favourite characters from Awakening
2. Preferred Male Robin tbh...for some reason Female Robin came across as kind of snotty...
3. Looks fine, no real complaints, characters look good, areas look decent
4. Will make it easier to move around I hope, I feel like Archers will be a pain for them though
5. Azura? Lots of focus on Awakening and Fates so far and she's a main character from the latter who is yet to be revealed...
1. It depends, but all in all, I do like her. But I will admit, after seeing Caeldori's supports with Sophie, Mitama and Rhajat, I'd like to see a support of Cordelia enjoying herself and not being in serious mode. The closest one she had was Stahl while her other supports either had her always working hard at something, giving a lecture to somebody or something that involves Chrom. That being said, her supports with Robin, Stahl and Libra were great.
2. I like both, but I like Male Robin more than Female Robin. Mostly due to their support with Chrom and Lucina. Male Robin's supports with them are much better than with Female Robin. Female Robin's supports with them seem pandering, tacked on and seemed to hurt the characters a bit(besides Mother Robin and Lucina) while Male Robin's felt more at home with the characters. Which is sad cause for Female Robin, they easily could've added in the pandering while keeping at home with the characters.
3: Looks very nice. I feel it fits the game well.
4: I better be seeing 360 spinning Pegasus and Wyverns as well as them front flipping and back flipping.
5: A Fates character next. Especially if they show off Male Corrin alongside them like Robin with Cordelia.
oh wait, 4s been confermed? oh well, ****, I didnt know that, I thought it was only the awakening character that was revealed. change "would be" to "will be" them pff
oh wait, 4s been confermed? oh well, ****, I didnt know that, I thought it was only the awakening character that was revealed. change "would be" to "will be" them pff
I'm not into the Metroid series that much, so I will just answer the Fire Emblem Warriors questions.
1. I'm mainly indifferent to her. She was a pretty good unit in both of my Awakening playthroughs, but I never found her that interesting as a character. She has some good supports, but the rest didn't catch my attention that much. Her feelings for Chrom also felt annoying at times.
2. I don't care for Robin that much as a character, but between the two genders, I like Male Robin more. He seems like the cooler one between the two.
3. Yes - The characters have some great 3D models, and the surrounding environment looks good too.
4. They look fun. I like how they allow you to access areas that normal units can't reach.
5. I have a feeling it will be a group of characters from Fates. More specifically, I can imagine we'll get a trailer similar to the Awakening one where it will reveal multiple playable characters. For Fates, I have a feeling this reveal trailer will be either be called "Warriors' Birthright" or "Warriors' Conquest." With the Awakening trailer revealing the whole main cast from Awakening would be playable, something tells me the Fates one will do something similar but for the Hoshidan and Nohrian royal families respectively. Between the two, I am more interested in seeing a Hoshidan characters reveal, especially if Takumi is among them.
1. I am!
2. Yes
3. "Neat!"
4. "Neater because gameplay!"
5. I've played Metroid on 3DS VC and got lost early on and I suck. I beat Ridley on the Brawl Masterpiece, so maybe not all hope is lost.
6. I'm pretty excited.
7. Never played the original, so it doesn't matter to me.
8. The only people who would boycott Samus Returns because of AM2R are idiots.
9. Love it, actually. Make it her new side tilt in Smash lol.
10. They seem nifty, and can help out those new to the series.
11. Minus some diehard AM2R fans for petty reasons, yes.
12. I think so. It seems really accessible for the less Metroid-inclined like myself.
13. Maybe it'll plant some Prime 4 story seeds through background stuff or something.
Fire Emblem Warriors
1. Yes. Honestly if she got new map event quotes after marriage the Chrom thing would be a non-issue to me, and that seems more like a technical limitation. I'm a sucker for the whole "last survivor of their group" thing.
2. I prefer Male Robin/Female Corrin since they fit the aesthetic better IMO. That and I enjoy Robin's dynamic with Chrom more when Robin is male.
3. I think it looks neat. Hope they use a growth ray on the enemy units though. The playable cast is giant.
4. Love it. Pegasus Knights are one of my favorite Fire Emblem classes alongside Archers and Mages.
5. If there are more Awakening characters, Virion or Tharja. If not, Tiki.
1: VERY Excited!
2: Here and there, but I think there's a bit of hype.
3: *Gasp...* Ohmygod METROID'S COMING BACK BABY!!!
4: AND ANOTHER METROID GAME TOO!? *Insert Crash Woah meme here*
5: The original NES game (never finished), Super Metroid, Metroid Prime (First on Gamecube, properly finished in the Trilogy), Metroid Fusion (Started on GBA - finished through the 3DS Ambassador Verision), a little dabble at Metroid Prime 3: Corruption but never made a lot of progress, Other M (...), Federation Force demo. If we're counting AM2R, then just a little bit of that too.
6: I'm just happy we're getting Metroid in both the classic 2D and First-Person styles in two consecutive games.
7: Yes - provided that it respects the original game while still adding new elements to make itself distinct.
8: I don't see that. Metroid: Samus Returns is made by Nintendo, while AM2R was a fan-project that's free provided the download still exists somewhere on the Internet.
9: Could be a nice ability - but I want to see it for myself.
10: Same as above - could be a neat new mechanic.
11: Some on the Internet have gone off at how some of the content is locked behind the amiibo wall, but I think most people will like it.
12: I think I'll enjoy this game quite a bit.
13: If there are going to be new elements to the story, I suspect that they'll probably make teases as to what will be in Metroid Prime 4. Could be regarding the Galactic Federation, Chozo, Space Pirates or even Sylux - I think this could be added to add a few more fan-theories in the lead-up to Prime 4.
Now for the FE: Warriors responses:
1: I think she's a pretty decent character. She does have some flaws like
2: I like both Robins equally - Either of them are great characters.
3: FE Warriors certainly looks impressive - more so than Hyrule Warriors.
4: Flying units could be an interesting addition to the game, be they Pegasus Knights or Wyvern Riders.
5: Given the past reveals have mainly been Awakening based, I think they'll go with someone from Fates or Shadow Dragon/Mystery of the Emblem next. On the Fates side, I predict Takumi and Camilla for both Kingdoms respectively, and for Shadow Dragon, probably Tiki or Navarre.
1. Yes. Honestly if she got new map event quotes after marriage the Chrom thing would be a non-issue to me, and that seems more like a technical limitation. I'm a sucker for the whole "last survivor of their group" thing.
This is some of the writing in Awakening and Fates in general. You have dialogue that stays even after said character moves on from something and in some writings, you have character do things that they normally wouldn't do because the writing favors the other side more than the things that do matter(like Tharja in Father Robin and Noire's support). Fates pseudo had it with Male Kanna and his sibling/Shigure and his father where some of the more unique characters actually added new dialogue for Kanna and Shigure(good examples being Male Kanna/Sister Ophelia and Shigure/Father Arthur). But while some of the more unique ones add a lot more dialogue, they are roughly the same.
Meanwhile, you have the DLC involving the children(Future Past for Awakening and Children Festival for Fates in Japan) where the non-canon Parents actually get unique dialogue with their child and you have the famed Lucina moment if she has Robin for a lover/mother. It makes you want more and some moments in the games are some of the scenarios where it'd be awesome if some things actually changed if you did certain things, like if Noire actually changed as a character or had a different reason for being afraid if Robin married Tharja or Peri actually changing what she says in battle or levelling up if she married Laslow.
If there's something that actually begs for such a scenario, it's for if Binding Blade/Blazing Sword do get a remake together and if you have Eliwood married to Ninian when Roy and Fae have this conversation.
"Roy: What's wrong, Fae? You look like you're about to cry.. Fae: Am...am I evil, too...? Roy: Huh? Fae: When... When I get older, will I be a bad dragon, too? Roy: Slow down, Fae. Where did you get that idea? Fae: That man said that...dragons and humans can't live in peace... Roy: That wasn't true. You've lived in Nabata with humans, haven't you? Fae: But the demon dragon is a divine dragon like me! You're going to fight the demon dragon, but what about me? What if...when I grow up... I'm like the demon dragon...? Then...you'd have to... Roy: Don't worry, Fae. I know you'll never be like the demon dragon. You'll always live with humans. With people like me. Fae: ...Do you really think so? Roy: Of course! I want to help the demon dragon, too. Fae: Help her? Roy: The demon dragon isn't acting of her own free will. She had her soul destroyed. She is a slave. I...I don't want to kill her if I can avoid it... Fae: ...Your words are too big. I don't understand. Roy: I'm sure you'll learn what I mean once you get a little older."
This is one of the conversations that can benefit greatly from such a reference. Imagine Roy actually referencing Eliwood and Ninian's union to Fae.
So, if Universe 3 is allowed to modify their fighters with robot parts and weapons, what's so wrong with Frost using some needles modifies into his body?
Or even the Androids, who were modified to use energy blasts. That's like some kind of energy weapon that wasn't natural to them, right?
Metroid:
1. Oh absolutely!
2. Overall, yes.
3. Very excited, I'm pretty sure I yelled "YES!" as soon as I saw the 4.
4. Pretty much the same reaction, particularly since I remember saying Metroid 2 desperately needed a remake not too long before.
5. All except for Pinball.
6. Yes!
7. Definitely yes, particularly since my first Metroid game was Fusion.
8. Not really, I highly doubt the ones who would skip out in favor of AM2R would even be a blip on the radar in terms of overall sales, so I don't think it's even worth calling it a competition.
9. It looks pretty good so far, Other M's melee movements was a good idea at least in theory, so I'm happy they're integrating it into newer Metroid games.
10. They're OK.
11. I think so, nothing that has come out about the game itself (as in gameplay or story) has caused any controversy yet, so I think it'll be positively received unless something changes down the line.
12. I think so.
13. I think they'll expand on the relationship between Samus and the Baby Metroid, which I can see being a cause for concern due to what happened with Other M, but if they handle it right I think it'll be fine.
Warriors:
1. I'm ambivalent on her, she's fine as a character from what I've read from supports and the like, but I didn't really get attached to her either.
2. I prefer Male Robin overall as that's the one I used the most in playthroughs, though I don't mind Female Robin and I do like her design.
3. It looks good enough.
4. Cordelia looks good so far, I'm hoping they'll keep adding more though since there's a few characters I'm rooting for to be in the game that cover options she currently can't.
5. Either Tharja or Takumi, Tharja if they're not done with Awakening, Takumi if they're moving onto Fates.
So, if Universe 3 is allowed to modify their fighters with robot parts and weapons, what's so wrong with Frost using some needles modifies into his body?
Or even the Androids, who were modified to use energy blasts. That's like some kind of energy weapon that wasn't natural to them, right?
1: DAMN STRAIGHT
2: No, I'm the only Metroid fan in my group of friends irl
3: *4 shows up* "Nintendo bought the Fantastic Four" *Me and my friends shut up long enough for me to hear the music* "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA PRIME 4"
4: "HOLY **** TWO METROID GAMES"
5: The entire Prime trilogy, Fusion, Super, Zero Mission and Prime Hunters. Technically Metroid 1 but only for a minute
6: I prefer the Prime games but I'm glad to see it back
7: It's still a Metroid game, so yah
8: Yes. Not because AM2R directly competes with it, but because of the people going "I'm just going to play this one instead of the official release that Nintendo's selling because DMCAs are MMMMEEEEEAAAAAAAN"
9: It's more action based, but I don't mind
10: I haven't seen enough of the Aeon stuff, but it's got potential
11: Yes
12: HELL yes
13: They already confirmed some extra postgame stuff so yeh. Dunno what though
1: Not really
2: No. Male Robin's got a better VA imo (He was also Senketsu in Kill la Kill's dub!)
3: Eh, dunno
4: "Wait, Peg knights are confirmed and it's not Sheeda? What is this madness?"
5: MOTHER. ****ING. HECTOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOR
Realistically speaking, probably Takumi. We already know archers are going to be in the game and he's popular enough for some reason

And turns out that there has been many females who were reincarnations of the original Elizabeth and Meliodas has to watch 106 of them die eventually... so I am guessing the Seven Deadly Sins are to going to face against the Demon God and the Holy Goddess at the end.
Escanor's power is very interesting, his power is at max when it's HIGH NOON. He also seems to have crush on Merlin, too bad that she cares more about Arthur than him. That makes me curious to know when will Escanor give it all out to Merlin and why Merlin care Arthur so much.
Oh... if you are talking about the UA's big three, yeah...
That Sasuke is called Tamaki and he has a really interesting quirk, and I don't know why you called Hadou Rule 63 Human Sonic, I know she talks a lot, but in my opinion she isn't.
I was betting on the final grouo of enemies being based on the "4 Horsemen of the Apocalyse" since I heard the manga was planned to have "3 Major Arcs"...
Well; I was kinda right, it seems they're actually called the Four Archangels but I'm pretty sure their titles and powers will be based around the Four Horsemen
1-Yes
2-Not much tbh
3-"PRIME 4 WHAAAA-- wait that's it?"
4-"What do you mean they're remaking Metroid II, it wasn't on the Direct why would they reveal it there 15 minutes after it's over this is stup-- and it's true"
5-2,5 haven't finished Fusion
6-Yup
7-YUP
8-Sorta, I can see why Nintendo took it down but MSR has a lot more going for it
9-I don't like Melee, I'd prefer Smash 4 tbh
10-The what?
11-Hahaha good joke Swamp. Internet, liking something, you're funny
12-I bet my ass I will
13-Yes. I'll give you a hint: it's purple, can fly in space and will hit his ankle if he doesn't crouch while entering a door.
FEW
1-Hahahahah no
2-Male Robin, his base design and customisation options are just better than the female one's imo.
3-Yes, HW looked grwat but it had that "realistic" look to it, FEW goes for one more similar to Awakening's cutscenes and I love it
4-Choppy animations and we need an Archer
5-Tharja because IS hates me

This is one of the conversations that can benefit greatly from such a reference. Imagine Roy actually referencing Eliwood and Ninian's union to Fae.
I always liked that conversation because, originally, it was just Roy reassurring Fae, but FE7 gave a whole new context to it.
Roy doesn't know his mother was a dragon, so when he says this, he's oresenting THE biggest living piece of evidence of that, even though he doesn't know it.
On a side note, FE7 also "retcons" something else in FE6 by giving it a new context.
Jahn calls himself a true Dragon in FE6, even though he looked exactly the same as the artificial War Dragons and was no stronger than any of them. In FE6, you're supposed to believe him but if you play FE7, it's hard to do so.
His lack of emotions as he himself says is already contradictory to Fae and Idunn but also with Ninian and Nils who aren't even Divine Dragons so they aren't the exception and, in FE7, a CHILD Fire Dragon after being WEAKENED BY NINIAN is still miles stronger than him(and also bigger).
FE7 makes it look like Jahn is actually a dellusioned War Dragon instead of a true one, and we know War Dragons are capable of speech as seen with Ain.
It was likely a retcon but it works so well with the caracters and story that you won't really notice it.
Around here, sure, but most people I know outside of here don't care for Metroid either, so not really
Indifferent
Also indifferent outside of "oh it's on 3DS, maybe this will shut up the people calling for the 3DS to die for a bit longer"
Three or four, I think? In case it's not obvious yet, I'm not really a fan of the series
Yes, but only because I like older games
*shrug*
From what I gathered, it adds enough new content to provide a different enough experience to AM2R? So I don't see it losing too many sales because of AM2R, if that's what you're asking.
n/a

Probably yes
Probably not

And since some new Fire Emblem Warriors stuff got revealed, I'll continue some questions from those.
Do you like Cordelia as a character?
Do you like Female Robin better than Male Robin, why or why not?
Do you like the way the game looks graphically?
What do you think of flying units being introduced?
I don't dislike her, but neither do I especially like her either. Catria is a much better example of how that archetype should be handled - it shouldn't make up like 95% of their personality and their interactions with other characters... But I guess characters with one-note anime trope personalities could be said to be a problem with Awakening and Fates at large.
I like her customisation options better than the male's. As characters they're both exactly the same to me.
It looks okay so far. Hopefully the finished product will look a little more polished, though I don't know how far off the final product this is.
Pegasus knights are my favourite class in the series, so I'm happy to see them; just would have preferred a different character than Cordelia. I'm interested to see for myself how they'll play in a game like this.
Probably Tharja or Camilla because of reasons. :/ So far the game isn't giving me much cause to be optimistic about the roster.
Since I got the Switch and both games around the same time, neither one has overshadowed the other for me, and I have probably spent more time with ARMS so far. It's lots of fun, and is perfect for me as a fighting game since it doesn't revolve around inputting big long combos and strings, and focuses more on mind-gaming and outwitting your opponent, which I'm better at than the more technical side of fighters. So I've been doing a lot better in the online modes here than I would in other fighters - I'm up to rank 10 so far, and have only lost two or three games yet (but the highest rank I've fought yet is 13, so I probably just haven't met any "real" players yet). Anyway, I'll definitely be playing a lot more of it, and I hope it builds up a good following.
5. All of them that aren't Pinball or Fed Force's full game.
6. Yep
7. Yep, Metroid 2 needed an official one.
8. Not really. The majority of people who want AM2R probably already have it and most will probably take the dip on Samus Returns. The people who boycott are always an insignificant number of people.
9. Seems alright
10. Should be cool
11. Most likely.
12. Yep
13. Probably. Either expand a bit on the Metroids or a certain space pirate shows up. Maybe both.
FE:W
1. She's pretty good. The low self-esteem, ill-temper and strive for perfection even though she can't achieve that are great. She also mentions not really having any friends in her supports on top of other things that are rather relatable for me in her various supports. She does get dragged down a bit by her love for Chrom, though she does somewhat get over that in her S-Supports.
2. Not really. She's still good but Robin's an avatar so Male Robin is more in line with me.
3. It looks fine, some general improvement could be done though.
4. A cool addition to the game albeit somewhat expected.
5. Hopefully not Tharja or Camilla. But it'll probably be one of the two with the other getting revealed later.

If by rider, they specifically mean horse units, then I'm not sure who it could be (Elise maybe). If rider includes flying units, then I'm positive they're gonna reveal Camilla and Takumi.
A female rider and a male archer will be revealed for Fire Emblem Warriors this month, according to people who have translated this tweet.

my guess is either virion and ceada, or takumi and camilla
im still 100% sold on them including every main character mirage from #fe because thoes were what was felt to be the most important characters to be included in a spinoff

Yesterday I show you Meteora Nendoroid figure.
Re:Creators is going make a collaboration with a mobile game called Luna Princess... Not a game I like by looking at the name alone though.
Four Re:Creators characters are making appearances are: Meteora, Altair, Mamika, and Magane.
