No, it's just more ways to play the game. It's helps with longevity as it's one more way to keep people engaged with the product.

Before you only really had Quick Play, Comp, and what ever Brawl they had. Then they made a huge change and added arcade, and that breathes in a ton of new life into the game.
Throw in a server browser with custom games support, and now there's even more life in the game.

Don't think we'll ever get a story mode per se. Blizzard seems to prefer the TF2 approach, releasing story details via other media and, barring some nods in the choice of location and escort targets, letting the gameplay and characters speak for themselve in-game.

And that approach works well, so no harm no foul.

But who knows? A campaign mode, done well, could be interesting to see.

I've been playing Skyrim as of late.

Having a lot of fun with the current build I'm playing. In short; its a Breton dual-wielder with defensive magic. The primary offensive skills are One-Handed and Archery. The defensive skills are Alteration and Restoration. The supportive skills are Sneak and Block. Block was perked for the ability to fight enemies with high power and health, like Dragons, although in my experiences it rarely comes to play. So I'll likely respec Block into Alchemy for higher damage.

One of my most favorite clothing combos are used with this; The Cultist set (Dragonborn) without the gloves, which are replaced with regular brown gloves. A Gold Emerald Circulet adorns the helmet slot, and my amulet and ring change according to what I find. The Amulet of Talos is my all-around preference, which allows me to utilize the many useful Shouts this set likes. My ring slot is empty right now, but I'm level 57, so finding a fully enchanted Ring with One-Handed fortification shouldn't be hard to find. My weapons of choice are the Dragonbane and a regular Blades Sword, which I'll replace later with the special Blades Sword found in a cave I can't remember the name to currently.

I'm currently completing the Civil War- Imperial side. Afterwards I'm gonna finish the Main Story.

I don't think they'll drop Sam Wilson. The thing is, politics has always been a thing in Captain America comics, so I can't see them just dropping him. If anything...

I remember Blizzard did consider adding campaign mode, but yeah, it isn't really necessary, just a good additional touch if they add it in the future.

The difference between the two is that LEGO Batman had people that actually care for the characters involved whilst BvS had Zack "Batman should be ***** in Prison" Snyder.

Also worth mentioning that if LEGO Batman remains over 94% (that's what The Dark Knight has) it'll have the highest "Fresh" rating out of all superhero related films.
