Bulma to Gohan: "It's either Piccolo or m..."

Gohan "Piccolo"

"Now Gohan..."

"Piccolo"

Edit: On one hand the woman that's been perpetually angry who yelled and complained this entire trip and threatened violence

Or my second father figure, the man who sacrificed his life for me

Found another dumb and funny thing related to Dragon Ball Super.

Speaking of this.

The amount of salt over Kale tanking a Kamehameha from Goku is hilarious. People have been calling her a Mary Sue, overpowered, a "cash grab" and an "insult to power levels", Even though the concept of power levels was almost immediately discarded as soon as it came.

I feel ya...
But to be frank I get frustrated more in Overwatch then in Splatoon 2.
Probably it's because it is more easier for you to tell if you are going to lose or not. In Overwatch even in overtime you will still have chance to win.

If it was me I would go and play story mode, or just Salamon Run.
Speaking of Salamon Run someone post this on Twitter that just cracks me up:

Again, I would really breathed fire if I was playing Overwatch... no.. not really.

You also got that in Xenoblade Chronicles 2...

That's not really a secret lol...
As Taiwan gamers being heavily influence by Japanese gaming, me and especially my brother loves Splatoon as well.

Neither do I, and my parents think video games are like drugs...seriously... even to this day.

To be frank, according to Gaijin Goomba, the reason why PS Vita is still selling pretty well in Japan are because of those visual novel games on the Vita, or games like Sword Art Online X Accelerate World (Kind of forgot it's translation) got a huge spotlight in my local game store.

With other anime news,
Anime was indeed a mistake...
Overwatch doesn't bother me cause I win regardless if my team loses or not.

.....do they not realize that her tanking a Kamehameha is supposed to be a callback to who she was designed after?

The only reason people call foul is because Kale was created when the concept of surpassing godhood exists while Broly was around when the base Super Saiyan was supposed to be the top ****.

EDIT: Though to be fair, I call foul on that too. If we compare Broly in his debut and even Second Coming to Kale, she far outclasses him and it makes no sense whatsoever.

Not sure how that even makes sense lol.
Come to think of it, I got mad the most when my laptop lags and I lost the match or got killed, that's the most annoying part. Because you don't get kill or lose because your skill is bad (I won't get mad because I played bad and screw up), it is because you already have an disadvantage (Frame drops usually happens when game gets intense).

Cleared Splatoon 2's story this afternoon.

Now that I'm awake again, some story thoughts.

Goddamn were those shades a cop out.

I really wanted to see some kind of reasoning for Callie running with the Octarians, and was even hyped we might get something, since both literally everything had been leading up to such a moment - pre-release materials, sunken scrolls, Marie's reflections - and Callie even seemed basically lucid on the 4th boss battle radio call. Irrational, emotional reasoning that could be overcome by a conversation with Marie's would have been fine. Touching, even.

Instead we get hypnoshades, Callie does basically **** all during the battle, and the cartoon villain goes back in the snowglobe.

Goddammit, Ninty. I had such hope.

Would've liked to see some kind of sympathetic villainy for the Octarians as well. Sure, during gameplay they're mostly bumbling mooks aside from the Octolings and DJ Octavio, but we've seen through at least Splatoon 1's Sunken Scrolls that they're also a people wracked by turf and energy conflicts and, as a result, driven to some desperate things. I think it's honestly because they're characterized as such sympathetic villains in those materials that I expected more out of them, and I don't know why I keep getting my hopes up.

I enjoyed the ride, in its defense. Even enjoyed the final battle. But the storyteller in me just wants to choke whoever nerfed the goddamn story.

And anyone else who's finished story mode and has thoughts, get at me.
The mode itself is great. Especially since it gives inkcentive to replay it with every weapon, perfect for on the go. But the story stuff
The Callie thing was really disappointing. I mean, she's supposed to be hypnotized, but still has enough good in her to warn Callie and leave a note that she left to do something "important" (if the player tries scanning her amiibo), that and the Squid Sister story was really building up to her joining them of her own will.

Caring about Octarians was also one of my disappointments, especially when Marina exist. Truth be told, I hated Octarians because they are the Inkling's natural enemies, and as such, always hoped Octolings would never become playable just for that story reason alone. (Admittedly my dislike started as a joke, before I took not wanting them in seriously :denzel:)

With 2, I was hoping Marina's backstory would redeem that, and establish there are plenty of friendly Octolings above the Inkling people, so I can stop pretending to not want them. Instead, the story and sunken scrolls only show she was inspired by the Octavio/Squid Sisters set in the last game, but I am still left wondering if anyone in Inkoplis cared that she's an Octoling.

Heck, there was a interview yesterday where the dev said Inklings don't care about appearances if someone is doing something fresh, which somehow tells us more about Inkling/Octoling relations than the scrolls did ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Animes in general have problem when it come to times.

Right Dio, your time stop only last 5 second? Then they are the most long 5 second I have ever seen.

If they ever meet, Frieza and Dio would do a contest as to who could make the most long five minutes/second of their life.

Well, I got a code for the Dissidia NT closed beta.

This should be good (they'll be giving away the beta late summer, so I assume that and DBFZ are gonna be up at either the same time or very close to each other).

Speaking of that, registration for DBFZ opens up tomorrow. Y'all who plan on doing that should keep an eye.

Jotaro does it way worse
"I can only stop time for about 2 seconds"

Well. I beat Halo 5 yesterday. So that's done.

My friend and I did a temporary console swap, so I got his PS4 and he's got my Xbox One. So I was finally able to see what the fuss is about Horizon Zero Dawn.

So far, it's pretty good.

It's really a case of how adaption can't, well, adapte everything perfectly. And this is a perfect exemple.

Tough, I am not complaining. Error like this are for funny jojoke and beside that, it doesn't bother me that much.

What get me more "triggered" is how Jotaro couldn't hear Josuke screaming because of the "rain".

There, I can't take it seriously at all.

So a site called Gamezone is giving away Dissidia NT Closed Beta Codes and I managed to grab one that wasn't taken (first try too, lol, and the article has been up for more than half a day).

http://www.gamezone.com/news/giveaway-dissidia-final-fantasy-nt-closed-beta-keys-on-ps4-3455774/2

Once you've grabbed a code, head here:
http://sqex.to/register

It will ask you to log into your Square Enix Club Membership account or to make one.

Once you do that, you'll find a page for registering a product (if you aren't automatically brought to it, it's easy to find anyway from the account menu IIRC).

Enter a code from the GameZone article (for any question marks in the code, put in a "3" instead). It will then check if your code is still valid.

If it's valid, it will come up with a page that says "Dissidia Final Fantasy NT Closed Beta" and a "Register Product" option underneath.

Do that, and you'll be met with this screen.

I have mixed feelings about replaying it with each weapon. Might do it out of boredom sometime, but otherwise it feels kind of like artificial length, and I'd rather just grind in Salmon Run, Turf War, or Ranked.

Not that the story mode wasn't well worth it overall. They did damn good.

Storywise:
Kind of got me thinking, and this is certainly wild theorizing on my part, but what if Callie initially did join them of her own will, but had second thoughts in the final phases of Octavio's plan, necessitating more direct control?

That's where the phone call after the Octo Shower could have come in; she would have been warning Marie out of concern for her safety.

The whole thing's unfortunately debunked by the fact that the hypnoshades are visible in her radio chatter picture, which is used in all the story mode appearances. And it doesn't explain why she would have joined initially, although we can speculate. Still, I kind of prefer my headcanon.

I also feel like it could have been cut to the present state in order to keep from spending too many resources on single player (if it wasn't mandated to retain Callie's generally heroic portrayal and the Octarians' generally villainous one, although there's plenty of supplemental evidence against at least the latter, as we've pointed out). Explaining it away with brainwashing from the get-go may not be as satisfying as a more complicated motivation with more complicated characters, but it's also a great deal less for the Dev team to have to handle.

Making the rest of the game solid, sorting out all the various chatters throughout single player and incidental stuff for NPCs, crafting the prerelease materials, and building up an entire section of lore from scratch with the Salmonids et. al already gave them a lot on their hands, and I get the feeling that just to keep things fresh the creative team was already stretched pretty far.

sooo i never thought that calie was going to willingly join the octolings because of the squid sister stories, i dunno maybe its just me but her disappearing right before going to visit familly in the country screams kidnapping, and unless your in Stokholme you dont willingly join with your captors, as for the phone calls i felt them as less warnings of concern and more warnings of Get the **** off my property or ill shoot you, remember they are from the country

and you might say that thats too stereotypical, but remember nintendo made punchout so stereotypes are fair game

I got other game modes to do first (like story).

Nah I play Mercy mostly cause nobody plays healers and I'm really good as her. I do love Sombra to death though
I never use Mercy...
If I go healer I only go Lucio.
And again, I use Soldier 76 a lot, he is my main DPS for now.

Here is my first day of playing Splatoon 2.
I try out handheld mode to play Story mode, using motion controls is a bit of a pain so I go analog stick. And it also took a bit of used to, it was definitely hard to aim than using motion controls.
I later go play regular turf war and lose plenty of matches until I reached to Level 4 in order to buy the Splatoon Dualie I used before, I am now considering going back to motion controls...

I haven't play Salamon Run, my Switch was dying after I reached to Level 4...
Might try it some time.

Handheld mode feels awkward to me. Honestly using the joycons makes me feel robotic in my movements.

Also today is the better Salmon Run map, and with actually decent weapon choices.

I guess you play Sombra the most.
I play Reaper for the most time, but I recently use Soldier 76.

Also my Splatoon 2 just came in.
Right behind you.

Already scratched up my Pro fumbling while plugging the charging cable in, but eh I'll live. The colored handles look much fresher in person. The patterning is barely noticeable in shade but downright impressive under bright light.

Gonna start it up soon, just gotta finish something first.

The Charger is perfect against Steelheads.
I was thinking to myself a while back that it might be when I saw a ton of people complaining about how useless it was. Seems easy enough to get swamped with it normally but Steelheads have their defensive strengths in being tanky and too tall to hit and Chargers strip that away to nothing.

So there's an change in the ending when you rechallenge the final boss.

I'll get to that when I farm more Power Eggs to buy the upgrades with a side of beating the levels with other weapons.

But first some Turf War and Salmon Run.

Reminder that Salmon Run is best mode. Got over 50,000 in just a few hours. WAY more preferable to Turf War and Ranked if you're looking to grind for cash, tickets and ability chunks.
