It probably has more to do with the many many barely clothed women :p

Also lol rabbids x Mario and MIYAMOTO to start
It was just Hitomi Tanaka.

Or maybe bringing her into the match was a bad idea.

I don't know Miyamoto being there makes me that more excited about this thing.

Let's see some gameplay.

Before I make the next Hunger Games match, anyone have any suggestions for contestants?

The ones I have in mind are Tamatoa (because he's the winner), Hamtaro, Brash the Bear, XJ9, and Yomi.

I need up to 16-20 for now.

This game's existence is justified purely for that creative director's happy tears.

Bless up.

Mario having a gun is so unreal.

Oh wait, Smash exists.

Okay. I'm impressed with this so far.

This is fresh, unique, funny and just refreshingly different.

Why are they following a Roomba?
Wasn't part of the rumor that you actually control a "Tuttorio" character that guides the other characters around rather than controlling the characters directly?

Yeah, that was pretty much my take.

He's never as popular as Team Sonic or Shadow, but he shows up in a ton of fan stuff while the Chaotix may as well be Shiny Pokemon by comparison.

Charmy exists as divine punishment to make Vector suffer for his arrogance.

Or something IDK.

. . .TBH the more I think about it the more Vector is lowkey the most underrated Sonic character. He's a hulking crocodile that's older than most of the heroic cast who's attempting to run a detective agency. Thing is, the agency doesn't get that many jobs, so he's always desperate for money and a bit greedy about it. He's still a good guy at heart though, so if something's important enough he'll still do it for free anyway. He's also got some of his roots as part of the band in Sonic's early prototypes still in him to this day complete with still lugging around the keyboard once in a while, but he's absolute trash at singing despite his attempts.
Aye, those are the reasons why he's one of my favorite characters out of the modern era, he's pretty unique and fun among the cast.

20 minutes of Dissidia NT.

Gameplay looks real nice as I would expect, and so do the visuals.

But some of the stuff the Square Enix rep says aren't instilling hope.

1v1 apparently won't be in the game even though the arcade version had that (and the PSP games were 1v1 only). And while there is a story, it won't have a "proper story mode".

I'm also really sick of hearing "we wanted to focus on the competitive e-sports aspect" as the excuse for every fighting/action game these days being barren for modes. I get that e-sports are on the rise but not every game needs to be an e-sports game. There is such a thing as market saturation.

What made the original Dissidia games so good was the amount of modes, and the fully fleshed out RPG aspects. The story mode in 012 was also really fun. Going back from that feels like a step down. Also, they saud before that every character from past games would be in this one before, but now they're saying some will be excluded.
I don't mind the story mode being missing, though it is disappointing nonetheless as the story was enjoyable in the first two games. The lack of a 1vs1 mode is very headscratching though as that was the base that made that spinoff series in the first place, so that's a really strange omission to do for it. Same with the characters cuts, as while I understand that development sometimes can't allow for everyone to make it back, going back on your statement like that is sure to anger a few fans, particularly if one of the cuts is a fan favorite.

I need to see more but I am most definitely impressed. I just want to play it, honestly, see what it's like how deep it is. And see if the humor actually hits. Wait and see for me still.

Ok the humour is pretty good in this, reminds me of the original Rabbids.

Game play looks solid, though I still wanna see more about how they are handling the extended cast and such.

"it's like Xcom"

:079: we've known that for ages and I know some of you saying this payed attention to the leaks

It . . . actually looks way better than expected. I would wait until we see more gameplay, because im not sure how interesting the sections between battles are, but I have not instantly dismissed it like I had when all I had was the premise

Who knows? :3
Oh my god; Miyamoto and Bill Trinen on Ubisoft's stage was quite unexpected, I'll tell you that. And I actually didn't realize the creative director of the game that was mentioned had cried on screen until I saw it here; I'm glad to see him get recognition.

I have to say; this game isn't actually as bad as I thought it was originally (if we ignore Peach Rabbid's annoying tendency to take selfies, which I found to be the only problem with what was shown in the gameplay). The atmosphere is wonderful, the gameplay actually seems pretty solid, and the visuals are nice to look at. Good job, Ubisoft! Although I will admit; I am still neutral on whether or not I'll buy the game (as the humor was alright, but it did tend to be a bit annoying at times especially with the previously mentioned selfies), but it's better then deciding to completely disregard it. :p

I imagine you're surprised, Professor Pumpkaboo Professor Pumpkaboo ? :)
