also, what program did you use to make that roster? I once tried using powerpoint to make a simple roster layout but it just wasn't meant to be (the program wouldn't let me lock shapes exactly with each other)

Since I'm mostly using the same team as I intended to use in the playthrough I started not too long ago, I started with Cyndaquil again, and caught a Zubat and a Mareep. Joey is an HM slave.
I got through the Burned Tower and defeated Falkner, earning my 1st Gym Badge.
I don't know if I'm gonna use the Wooper that hatches from that egg or not, probably not because A. there are better water types and B. I don't feel like grinding it from lv 1.

There's not even a guarantee of a third version happening.
Gen 5 and 6 both skipped the third version entirely.
