I'm still wondering, what was it that IGN didn't like about God Hand? From many videos I've seen, it's a pretty over the top (albeit slow) action game. It's like the precursor to MadWorld?

. . .Then again, we've got Mercedes Benz in Mario Kart, various DLC in Happy Home Designer, and Splatoon was basically designed to have product placement as an in-game event, so we're probably seeing more of it.

I just hope they don't extend it into their more plot-heavy games or into Smash.

I guess I could be disappointed by this. Then you realize these sprites take 30 minutes to an hour to make.

If they want to keep adding costumes like this, then I'm fine with it. I already have my favorite characters in this game as costumes anyway (Minus Bayonetta). I wonder if we could get other advertisement like costumes though from other countries besides Japan. I guess the Mercedes costume counts, but I want to see them go beyond that.

In other words, how much more can they surprise and confuse people.

He was huge in Japan, but only had a small cult following in the West. When he managed to get his own video game and starred in the Japanese version of Fighting Vipers, then he had some degree of popularity.

I believe he was the reason why Pepsi became so popular over there.

Bravely Second does end one HELL of a sequel hook.

TL;DR Review: Brought back a majority of the old cast in damn good ways. Some jobs still end up having either niche usage or damn-near uselessness. Synergies get far more insane in a good way in what you can pull off. Game overall kinda peaks in difficulty around chapter 4 of 6. Improved on just about every damn mechanic from the original. The actual Bravely Second namesake function suffers from some Too Good to Use but damn I don't mind. Only one particular area flared me up about having poor design.

SWEET GOD THIS GLORIOUS WRITING THO.

9/10 Glad I sunk ~70 hours into. (And there's apparently content that doesn't unlock until you've already beaten it).

turns out, it may not be a coincidence since the arches can be symbolized as a means of renewal, or starting anew...

-Arceus created the pokemon univserse and is basically God...a creator...and is associated with resurrection...
-Samus in Fusion basically was 'reborn as something different' after being cured of her X infection which almost killed her...as well as her original gunship getting destroyed before being replaced with this ship...

Some food for thought, but stuff like this intrigues me when it comes to design...hidden details that shows us how certain features of a design is added with purpose and is more than just aesthetic...
