Japan's on the same boat as Australia, there just isn't no same sex marriage despite being alright towards the LGBT community. Hell, Queensland is arguably one of the most gay friendly parts of the entire continent (country, whatever).

Oooooh, okay, okay. I see. It's just that the way you put it made it seem as if you were talking about the acceptance of it among Japanese people. That's what tends to influence media such as video games, movies, and television. For an example, the acceptance is decent in the US but there are still anti gay laws.(Particularily sodomy laws, which are usually just specific to homosexuals. But it's not like anyone really follows them anyway, LMFAO.)

TLDR; Anti gay laws can still exist despite a great portion of people accepting it.

Fine, you've got me. Queensland has been getting better in terms of LGBT treatment compared to the past, though it's far from perfect. As least in comparison to the more stricter and homophobic South Australia. Places like Tasmania, the Northern Territory, New South Wales, and the Aussie Capital Territory are far more progressive in terms of rights in Australia. Except the only outlier for these places are same sex marriage, something that most of the continent is still heated on.

I'm pretty sure there was a study that pointed to Victoria being the most progressive state, particularly Melbourne and the inner suburbs.

In terms of the top 10 electorates that opposed gay marriage, there were like 5 or something in QLD.

I knew I've forgotten about Victoria. Same sex couples definitely have most of the same rights as others over there like the places I've mentioned (minus QLD and SA). SSM is the only exception which isn't all too surprising.

True, Queensland still have mixed opinions on that stuff even if they weren't as bad compared to the past.

Yes and no...

But the moment we start labeling other cultures and entire nations(who have historically been pretty liberal about homosexuality until the rest of the world surpassed them) homophobic is when we start to go on the offensive. Which is really bad.

If you look at history, all the successful social rights movements didn't condemn or label their oppressors (think Ghandi, MLK, etc). If you want the issue to go away, the best method is to garner for sympathy, by just living your life. Labeling Japan as homophobic won't actually help anything.

So even if its true, its smart not to say those kinds of things. :D

Eurogamer's article said "currently slated for September." They could've moved the date

Then again Nintendo just said "later this year."

I'm glad my anticipation hasn't boiled up yet over the NX. That means when it's finally announced when the NX will be revealed I will be super hyped. And when it's announced I'll be even more hyped. Patience really is a virtue.

I made a new gif. It's probably my favorite one yet. I'm thinking about replacing Ike vs The Black Knight with it considering that's my lowest quality one. What do y'all think?
