I'm surprised a lot of you like ORAS, from what I've heard, a lot of people dislike it for whatever reason.
I personally enjoy it, although not as much as HG/SS, but it's been a long time since I've played that, so my memory may be skewed.
So I just completed Pokemon Yellow today, the first gen games while good for their time.... certainly show a bit of age what with a few outdated and restrictive mechanics and whatnot....
I forgot they also had their own equivalent of the "You must solve this many puzzles before you can pass" trope the Professor Layton games are notorious for, except their just for optional items you can skip. Still kinda glad they more or less moved on from that in later games apart from the reward of catching them all (minus event pokemon) which I don't mind.
I find it interesting though that they used to make enemy trainers use their items during battle since if I'm not mistaken, only gym leaders and the elite four challengers (and maybe a few other special trainers such as friends/rivals) could use items during battles in the more modern games and even then, usually just full restores (This isn't including held items such as berries though.)
Oh well, mainly wanted to get the game done before Sun and Moon comes out, just need to catch Articuno and Zapdos and then I'll probably just call it a day.
I've personally never read Moon Knight and only have the most basic of understanding of the character, but from what I've heard there's a psychological aspect to it. *shrug* One of those things I haven't gotten to reading yet.

The best way to describe him is Former Mercenary Batman with a multiple personality disorder and using vengeance as a concept (instead of My parents were killed!) with an Egyptian God helping him.
His comics are generally really good reads and his current series is one of the few good ones Marvel has atm.

Moon Knight's position isn't what I expected at all in a good way.
Man, the controls for twin stick shooting in Conker's Bad Fur Day (Rare Replay version) is so annoying! I know Rare Replay wanted to be untouched as possible with the ports, but making left stick to aim and right stick to move unlike every single other shooter is simply a mess.
So in commemoration of the first U.S. presidential debate tonight, I'd thought I'd share a funny FE: Fates parody featuring some of the Fates cast commenting on the presidential candidates we've seen this year. I'm sure some of you will enjoy it.
Well I guess there must be, or there wouldn't be such an uproar over anyone saying anything against her.
One time after hearing her name mentioned I watched a bunch of videos from the guy you said and a couple of other people. The conclusion I drew was that while I would like to see more women in games, I don't really agree with her execution.
I remember saying all this a while back before, but. . .
For one, a couple of examples she cited feel like they throw a wrench in the "just an object competed for by men" pattern she cited for women in games by altering the balance. I.E. HeroM is motivated by VillainM doing something to ObjectF is the typical situation, but one or two of them had a VillainF instead. I don't think she ever mentioned that those cases had female villains or what that means, so that's odd.
Then there's the fact that she tends to let her other beliefs. . .slip in from time to time. The end of her video game pitch involves her character overthrowing a council that deposed them and then abolishing their own monarchy, which isn't too off until you realize her thesis has a huge disdain for capitalism. . .Then there's the fact that one video had her take most of the time to criticize the latest Tomb Raider for killing people in a way that implies she hates ALL forms of violence in video games, which. . .says a lot about what she thinks of video games as a whole considering most of them involve some sort of fighting. And one thing she said gave me the impression she doesn't like the ability to select genders in games because you have the option to select a man and thus that's "default."
And then there was her basically starting the Bayonetta video by basically saying "the plots not important just some *incredibly vague description of part of the game's concept* or something let's go right to saying why this is bad" when it could have taken ten minutes researching the game to make a thirty second summary and give at least some impression of caring about the game in any capacity other than looking down on it.
Then there's what the videos said about her saying she had to research video games before turning around and saying she grew up with them and her apparently saying she was going to use the Kickstarter money to buy games and then taking footage from Let's Plays instead, although if those accusations were wrong then you all are free to correct me on that and I deeply apologize if that is incorrect.
And her saying you need to point ALL examples of sexism out when. . .well I guess I'll paraphrase Syndrome again. When everything is sexist, nothing is. You take less of the value out of your focus when you focus on everything instead of on a specific, particularly bad situation. Like looking at a guy trying to kill you, glancing at a gun nearby, and deciding to pick up a bucket of water instead because "It'll hit more."
I just. . .I'd like more women and women in better roles in games, I just feel like her way of trying to get that to happen doesn't synch with me. I'd rather watch someone with a more lax approach, knowing when to praise games that do things right and focusing more on how games could be made better in the future instead of what isn't perfect now. Take a little lighter of an approach, you know?
On the bright side if Beyond Good And Evil 2 really does come to NX then Anita's supporters will probably boost the system's sales since aside from obscure indies Beyond Good And Evil seems to be the only game she actually likes.

Well the Presidential debates are to start today. Worst case scenario, at least according to what I've heard from both sides, the first word out of Trump's mouth causes the world to declare war on the US and Clinton collapses so hard her mass folds in on itself creating a black hole.

Going back from the ORAS and HGSS discussion for a bit, while I'm glad the Rocket executives were given faces in the remakes, I love the Magma and Aqua redesigns and new personalities a lot more
Like Megane Maxie, swimsuit Archie, fat arrogant Tabitha, robotic waifu Courtney and Shelly's and Matt's much improved designs
Now the comment from the NoC guy has been removed by a request from NoC. Makes this situation very bizarre. I honestly think we might be waiting til' December for this reveal if it doesn't happen in the first week of October.

I really hope so TBH but i'm iffy on that. I, like everyone else want a reveal in the first week of October but a December reveal would still technically meet the requirements of everything that's been said about the NX about it being revealed in 2016 (Reggie's comment from E3 2015) and news happening in the Fall (Andrew's comment).
i dont get why it has to be the first week of october theres an entire month of october ripe for revalin
like we've waited this long what a little longer?

There's almost two months between the two. It doesn't have to be one or the other.
Nintendo has some kind of annual thing going on in late October. Even if they don't get it out on the first week anytime before that would still allow it to be dealt with there.
Get ready for an hour of opening a menu
And that's just the menu opening part, you still have to figure out the goddamn puzzle for another hour and fight stuff without a sword
But at least you fight Dark Link and that's hype
