I'm legit curious because it always seems like there's people of all ages around with Pokemon and in BW both player characters are definitely older than 10-13.

This is something that has always bugged me. You supposedly have to be 10 before you can get your first Pokemon, but there's still trainers that are clearly younger than that.

Here's MY understanding.
You have to be at or past the age of 10 to "legally" capture and train pokemon, most commonly in pursuit of Gym badges and to become your home region's champion.

The "Preschooler" and arguably to a lesser extent "School Boy/Girl" classes who are under that age were GIVEN their Pokemon by their parents, or on loan from the school, as a matter of defense from wild pokemon and something to "play" with, with the other kids at their school. Edit: But they couldn't, say, walk up to a Pokemart and try to buy Pokeballs without a fake ID. But god knows how you'd get one in the Pokeverse.

Double Edit: By extension of it, that's the reason why they always have very feeble Pokemon. Something easy to control, something that can't cause a lot of harm, namely just enough to stave off a rogue wild Pokemon or even just hold it off long enough until an "adult" could come and help.

I'm pretty excited for this season. It could be a nice glimpse at a different way of Pokemon - Ash isn't always travelling around, instead he stays in one spot, with more characters around him learning new things.

Anyway, I'm currently in Melbourne International Airport about to fly off to Bali for a holiday with my guuurlfriend.

I cant wait.. although we have a 5 hour stopover

2. Rugarugan (Day Form is the one I favor, but I could possibly grow to like the Night Form in due time since I am getting Pokemon Moon).

Played the Yokai-Watch 2 demo.
It was a lot shorter than I expected.

The battle system seems to be a bit improved, if not a little hectic at times. I like the music and the presentation is charming.

While I think it's better than the first one (I've only played the demo though), I'm not in any rush to get it.

I'd be willing to bet that like the orange islands, they'll throw in a league because they can.

And I like the trailer, it looks pretty different but could be good. I like that Skull is involved early. They could work like team rocket maybe.

My only problem is Ash's design, but it will probably be something I'll get used to.
