Question is, is this going to be a proper adaptation of all the games, or just a bunch of shorts?

Cause honestly I'm not opposed to the shorts idea, especially if the shorts have stuff like, the Giovanni battle from the Pokemon World Championship from B2W2, or Gold/Crystal vs Red Mt Silver battle. Hell I'd be even more hyped if they did something like say Cynthia Vs Red, or we got to see Giovanni vs Cyrus.

Generations looks pretty awesome. Wish it were full episodes, but shorts are nice. The art style is alright, it works for most characters, but not all.

Seeing Looker actually run a police operation is hype as hell though! Looking forward to that one.

We also have the lake of rage, champion battle of red vs blue, cheryl in eterna forest, the legendary beasts at burned tower, some minecart based adventure, Blue Vs the Elite 4, Buck's story with heatran on stark mountain, and Reggigias's awakening at Snowpoint temple, I wonder what else we might see.

It looks pretty good!

As for Generations, I honestly cannot express my hype enough.

Ah, so essentially they're doing a "greatest hits" version of Origins for all of the games, that's pretty great. Of what we got, I'm looking forward to seeing the Blue and Looker episodes, and I'm really curious what they have in mind for the N's Castle/Seven Sages, Ho-oh and the Legendary Beasts, and Cheryl/Buck (particularly if the other three partner characters show up).

My only concern is how they'll handle their limited time. Origins had some pacing issues, and 3-5 minutes can be constraining depending on the story they want to tell for each. So hopefully they'll manage to strike that proper balance this time around because I'd like to see what they have in mind given its full potential.

I actually ended up loving the Specter Knight jump mechanics but it's going to be a nice change of pace to play a Shovel Knight expansion that doesn't make my hands constantly sweat.

Kinda random question here, but what do you think are the odds Final Fantasy VII would get released on the eShop ?

I'm not talking of the remake, but more specifically like one of the versions released on Steam and more recently on iOS and Android.

None, it's a PS1 game and currently there are no FF games on 3ds or wii u iirc

Pokemon Generations is looking great! I'm especially interested in seeing those episodes featuring N and AZ. The Looker one will be pretty hype too. Definitely makes up for his absence in the XY&Z series despite the Team Flare crisis currently going on.

Yep, that's Looker. Him and Kiritsugu are supposed to be special agents of some sort, so I can definitely see the resemblance going on.

That part caught my attention too! I thought it was AZ watching it at first, but it turned out it was Red the second time I saw the trailer. We also see Red and Pikachu trying to escape a Noivern later into the video. Perhaps this takes place after the events of Origins episode 4? I mean, Red got the Mega Stone then, so I bet after he catches Mewtwo, he wants to learn more about Kalos, and that's how he eventually runs into Zygarde.

I would like to know opinions from those who played FF VII like @Xeno VII and Aetheri about it please.

My experience with the game is with the PS1 original and not the Steam or mobile ports, but from what I understand the differences between them are minor.

As for the chances of FFVII appearing on the eShop, I think it's far too late in the Wii U's life cycle for Square Enix to consider porting it to that console. I suppose an NX port is possible, but my gut tells me they'd just port the remake if anything.

I would say its possible though I'm not entirely sure how likely it would be....I feel like the Wii U can definitely handle it...
It could be possible original could also be released for the NX on the eshop (or whatever new online store it will have) as it is a newer system and would line up better with the release of the Remake whenever that will be...in fact I'd say its more likely as the Wii U's not likely to be supported after the next few releases it has...unless they'd release it to both but that's even more unlikely...
Would be a decent marketing strategy to put it on the NX's eshop especially if FFVIIR is going to be released on the NX..."here's original for those who haven't played it before playing the remake"

Would need to be done at least a couple months before the release of the remake, since releasing them both at the same time would be a bit unwise since it is a fairly lengthy game...

I know I'd be getting both if it does happen...but then again this is Square Enix we're talking about and for the most part the Final Fantasy IP (mainline) has been reserved for Sony consoles...
