The center is some type of fire gem or symbol. t could be something explained in the pokedex if real. It's weird, but a super belt with fire power looks kind of cool imo.

What was the controversy? I might be out of the loop, but I don't remember No Man's Sky having a big controversy, other than the load times which was a relatively minor thing. Did something new happen?

There were loads of arguments about it being 60 bucks, because only AAA games are allowed to do that, Indie games have to be cheap(!) Personally, I'm pissed at the special edition exists and it's a team with SO much ambition and promises, it WILL disappoint and it WILL be another Peter Molyneax situation

True, Helicopter travel might not be unlocked till later. Perhaps, you will even need it to reach one of the important towns like the ice mountain one? IT be fitting and a cool way of showing harsh environments. Yeah they have been slowly doing more mature and darker plots, so if they wanted, they could definitely make it work.

A waterfall controlling legends makes a lot of sense imo. Hawaii is big on legends about spirits for all kinds of things such as water spirits. Perhaps a water and fairy legend said to control or maintain the water could live behind the waterfall? That be nice to see. I also hope each legend gets its own cutscene thing, kind of like Mewtwo in X and Y.

A potential moondial could work well on a hidden island. I could see it fit nicely with the Hawaii theme and lore to. I could see it on an hidden island which has an ancient tribe living on and using it for ceremonies. I do hope we get to go back to Kalos though and that the game turns out really good. Although it seems really nice atm so I hope it doesn't disappoint!

As for the starters, they are pretty nice. Just because he looks Fire and Fighting, doesn't mean it would be. Although an interesting delvelopment was that the typings of the legends are out of order in the code on the site. Which means the starter's could be as well. So litten could be fire and fighting... I still think Fire Dark will happen though. And we all thought solgaleo would be fire, but it's not. So he could be dark in this form as he has a evil look and the colorings still of a dark type.

I don't know. Only thing I've seen on it, is that supposedly people commented and playfully teased him( in a non vicious way) that he looked like Kuiki and he got upset and shut them down. Which imo is stupid. Regardless the reason, if your a youtuber and can't handle comments, then don't be a youtuber. Its simple to ignore them, and it's pointless to shut them down. It's kind of part of being a youtuber. Especially since you get feedback, and actual fans look to give you positive words.

People would probably be ticked if it even LOOKS like a Fighting type or so much as touches Fighting type moves, but I can see it possibly skewing Dark in this case. Beat up on another pokemon would be a pretty good move actually. He could well with a dark set if real. And it be funny if they revealed him, but then didn't give the types saying we would need to find out ourselves lol. The roughnecks do kind of resemble it actually now that you mention it. It's not a terrible design for a dark type imo. And fits a strongman them to.

Well I mean, with how much hype there is, there's reason to expect them to do a special edition. From what I've seen of the game from clips some people have posted, it looks promising. Here's hoping it'll be good.

Can't say I believe it, mostly because of how messy it looks compared to XY's concept artwork. For instance, to borrow an example from NeoGaf, here's Mega Blaziken's concept art:

Unlike these evolutions, Mega Blaziken's concepts doesn't pretty much take up the whole page, there's no overlap between the images shown, and is much cleaner by comparison. It gets to the point of the details of the design and Pokemon without having too much going on in the image. The Starter evolution's supposed concept just throws a lot of detail at you and it's horribly messy as a result, and I have my doubts that they'd change their style from what we saw in the previous generation to what we see with these concepts for the three starters.

Yeah, the reaction to it turning out that we already knew the vast majority of the Pokemon from XY before it even leaked was. . .less than pleasant. For the sake of my nerves at the very least, I hope they keep the information a little quieter this time.

That may be precisely why XY had it's first trailer in January while in this case it's June and we only know the mascots and base starters with a hint of regional bird, though. They might not want to make the same mistake twice on that.

Water/Fairy sounds pretty fitting for a waterfall legendary that fits the Hawaiin theme of spirits. I also think it'd be pretty cool if every legendary had a special cutscene too.

I can see the Litten evolution being Fire/Dark as well with that kind of color scheme and aggressive facial expression, but I only assumed Fire/Fighting right away because of the concepts arts where it shoots Fire Spin out of its belt and the one where it picks up Machamp look something like a Fighting-type. The former gives me a Captain Falcon vibe because of how it looks like its doing his signature knee attack.

Done with Chapter 23. Arthur and Effie still bit the dust but it's not like I'm expected to save them. I can see more of them when I get to Conquest I'm sure.

Think of it as a warped and deranged version of object permanence. If the journalist didn't put up the article and make them see it, the delay wouldn't have been known to them. It's incredibly dumb.

Either that or they misguidedly think that drawing attention to a delay will somehow hurt the game's reputation.


Both options are equally stupid but I can't decide which is more likely.

I had "assessment" exams on Thursday for the college course I applied to.

Except I didn't know about it going in. I was only told I was being called in for an "assessment", which I interpreted as being an interview.

And to make matters worse, I caught a fever the night before, which kept getting worse until Friday.

And when I was just getting ready to go, I threw up my breakfast for some reason (I think it was the tablets I took for my fever that caused it).

So I was just dumped with an hour long exam in both English and Maths, completely out of the blue, and had to do them on both an empty stomach and with a fever. English was fine, but I haven't used Maths since leaving school (and was bad at it in school). I at least answered every question though, if nothing else I'm proud of that.

That's why I made that post on Thursday about how I "felt tanked".

And now I've been sent to my dad's house because he's gone on vacation to Texas and Las Vegas. I'm needed to mind the dog today and tomorrow. Normally my brother would be here since he got a new job and it's closer to my dad's house than it is to my mam's house. But he has a day off tomorrow and what's to spend it at my mam's house. So I was sent up with this fever to look after the dog.

It's been a while since I've had an IRL chain of events this unfortunate. And that's not even everything (I'm not comfortable talking about the other stuff here).
