You dare bring the Minions outside of Despicable Me?In Despicable Me: They're dosed right and they can be pretty funny some times.
Everywhere else :
They must die!
Honestly I did enjoy Despicable Me... the first one. But really, it's like... It's really when the reaction images and the produck placement (especially the Twinkies) came along. So, how does anyone feel about the Minions from Despicable Me?
I find them alright, just as long as they don't take too much screen time unlike the Minions film.
More excited about seeing the former on the Treehouse than anticipating its release. The footage shown on the treehouse may make me consider buying the game though.Anyone else excited for Dragon Quest 7/8?
Coming from someone who has never seen the films, I think it's more the popularity that gets to me. Kinda like what happened with Frozen when that was everywhere and then some. So, how does anyone feel about the Minions from Despicable Me?

My first day off since it was released is tomorrowHas anyone seen that new Ninja Turtles movie yet?

The helicopter idea sounds pretty cool. One of the main tourism attractions in the Hawaiian islands is the use of helicopters so that you can fly around the island and see the rainforests from above. I never been on the helicopters when I visisted big island Hawaii, but from the pictures I've seen, they give you a spectacular scene. On that note, I think it's possible that the helicopters could replace Latios/Latias as the new flyers for the potential soaring gimmick's return. You reach one of the platforms in order to hop on the helicopter, and from there, you fly around the Alola region similar to how soaring worked in Pokemon OmegaRuby/AlphaSapphire. When you want to land at a location, the landing animation would be different from the landing animation when using Fly. This time, it would involve the helicopter lowering to the ground as you hop off, then the copter flies away.
Now that you mention it, that tree does look a fitting location to catch Zygarde. If Sun and Moon won't let us explore Kalos in the postgame, where you would definitely catch Zygarde, I can definitely see that tree being Zygarde's location in Alola.
An evil team based around pirates and explorers would be pretty cool. I think another idea what the evil team could be are cults. I'm reminded of the now-fake Plus and Minus rumors where they said the evil team would be a cult team who want to return society to the old and away from the new. Here, maybe the cult could have some sort of really twisted philosophy, and they think that summoning the legendaries will help them succeed in their goals. Or maybe, the cult could proclaim that they are descendants of the ancient civilization that once lived on that fourth island, and thus are trying to fulfill the goals the ancient civilization once did. It could make for an interesting set-up plot wise if they go with this route.
I just noticed those stairs in that bottom left platform, and I'd be interested to see it lead into the evil team's base. An underwater base would be pretty awesome! We had a completely underground base in X/Y with its entrance being completely hidden within that giant rock in the town where the Ultimate Weapon is, so to see the next step involving underwater bases would be pretty neat. Heck, maybe the submarine could also be the evil team's primary base similar to how the Plasma Frigate in Black2/White2 was Neo Team Plasma's main headquarters in those games.
I think that palm tree island could be a good candidate for the Strange Souvenir legendary too. As for the backwards waterfall, Mele Mele island (I'm assuming it's the name of the island we start in because the Rotom Pokedex mini trailer only has that area listed, so it's probably referring to the starting island) is the only one that has a waterfall visible in the official artwork, so it could be a good candidate for that. I know the Big Island also has a famous waterfall of its own, but it seems like Alola's Big Island won't have a waterfall going off the official artwork.
I wonder where could the potential Moondial be though, assuming it's located in the Alola region.
If we get new Mario Kart 8 DLC this year, I would be really happy! I loved the DLC we got in the game thus far, and I'd love to see more. Unfortunately, I'm doubtful about that due to the discontinuation of Mario Kart TV's website, as well as the fact we might be getting Mario Kart 9 a few months after the NX's release (there seems to be a pattern nowadays where a new Mario Kart game comes out every three years, so going off of that, we should be getting Mario Kart 9 sometime next year).
I did make a wishlist for what I want DLC Packs 3 and 4 to consist of should we get more Mario Kart 8 DLC.
DLC Pack 3: Pokemon Pack (to celebrate Pokemon's 20th anniversary)
Characters: Pikachu (Light-weight, same weight as Toad, Shy Guy, etc.), Greninja* (Metal Weight, thought it'd be a fitting weight for the sake of balance amongst the heavyweights), and Bowser Jr. (same weight as Yoshi, Peach, Daisy, etc.)
Kart bodies: Charizard Flyer (Kart), Arwing (ATV), Barrel Train (Kart), Bee Buzzer (Inward-Drifting Bike)
Tires: MasterBall Tires
Gliders: Charizard Wings
*Greninja was a biased pick on my part.
Acorn Cup
GCN Wario Coliseum
Yoshi's Woolly World (based of the first level of the same game)
Downtown Peach*
Titania Battlefield**
*Based on the city where N64 Rainbow Road takes place above. It's your generic city/highway course similar to Toad's Turnpike, Shroom Ridge, Mushroom Bridge, etc. The track would take place during the evening hours and progressively gets darker with each lap. The course won't use all the streets, and you will go under the Mushroom Tower at one point.
**Based on the Star Fox Zero level of the same name.
PokeBall Cup
SNES Vanilla Lake 2
Wii Toad's Factory
Crystalline Cavern*
Kalos Circuit**
*Takes place in a crystal that visually looks similar to the crystal battlefield in Pokemon Battle Revolution. Starts outside as you travel into the cave. Anti-gravity parts including riding on long crystals at different parts of the track. There are Shy Guys working in the mines as well, and there is an underwater part around halfway through the course. The final section has you navigate a winding path with narrow corridors as you make your way outside.
**This is a one-lap course similar to Mount Wario, Big Blue, etc. It would take various elements from Kalos and combine them into one race course. You start in Lumiose City and explore some of its streets for the first section. As you approach the second section, you will go through a generic looking route with wild Pokemon present in the shortcuts. The second section starts with traveling through a bit of Santalune Forest. There's an anti-gravity section where you can ride a long tree trunk going upwards. You can also take another place that has you hopping on Ariados webs instead. You then leave the forest and cross a bridge that lies above the canyon, bearing a striking resemblance to one of the later game routes. You travel down the cliffs through a set of bridges, and you go off a glider at one point that takes you to a fast stream river, the underwater section. It leads you into the opening of a cave, and the final section begins. It splits into two right away, and both are on the walls. Mewtwo is there, and it uses its psychic powers to make this area of the map antigravity. You then proceed through the cave as normal. Both paths have different winding paths and obstacles, but eventually lead to an area that looks similar to Zygarde's residence in the anime. Zygarde's Complete Form comes out and its two tentacles attach to the land where you are on. You ride the tentacles for another anti-gravity portion as they eventually take you up to a hidden passageway that leads into Couriway Town, and the moment you leave the cave is a glider section to the finish line.
DLC Pack 4: Kirby Pack
Characters: Kirby (Feather-weight, same weight as the babies), Nabbit (Same weight as Peach, Daisy, Yoshi, etc.), and King Boo (Heavy-weight, same weight as Bowser, Wario, etc.)
Karts: Mini-Halberd (Kart), Squid Racer (Outward-Drifting bike), Koopa Clown Car (Kart), Poltergust 6000 (Kart),
Tires: Wheelie tires
Gliders: Warp Star
Boomerang Cup:
Wii DK Summit
GCN Bowser's Castle
Toxic Creek*
Blackbelly Skatepark**
*Based on the toxic jungle levels in the Mario games
**Based on the Splatoon map of the same name. Hazards included Inklings firing ink at you as you race in the middle of a Turf War.
Warp Star Cup:
N64 Choco Mountain
Gyromite Zone*
Daisy Oasis**
Castle Dedede***
*I can see this track's gimmick involving closing pillars that can act as hazards, open new shortcuts, or close normal paths throughout the race.
**Based on a desert oasis. Looks more cheerful and bright than Bone Dry Dunes
***Based on the same location from the Kirby series.
Purchasing both DLC packs would allow you to obtain new alternate colors for Toad.
You know, as sad as having Effie and Arthur die in Chapter 23 is (whether it be your units killing them or you do make them your temporary allies, but they get killed by Camilla's units instead), I think it's just as sad to keep them alive and then Chapter 26 happens. Just imagine how Elise's retainers would react upon learning about Elise's death, especially Effie.
If you know Effie's backstory, you'd know how important Elise is to her. Elise disguised herself to befriend someone in the slums; enter Effie. Elise also saved Effie's life when she was about to be killed thanks to stepping and revealing herself (Elise) to the guards. That noble act made Effie join the Nohrian army to be with Elise again. That's proof of how close they are.
If Effie heard about Elise's death, she'd probably suffer an emotional breakdown: she'd probably think her life is over, thinking she failed to protect not not only her superior, but also her closest friend since her childhood.
The game never gives Arthur and Effie any dialogue following Chapter 23 though, so it feels like they were meant to be killed off after this chapter similar to how Laslow and Peri don't have dialogues after Birthright Chapter 26, Oboro and Hinata not having dialogues after Conquest Chapter 23, and Saizo and Kagero not having dialogues after Conquest Chapter 25, and coincidentally, all of the royal siblings they serve get killed in their respective routes. I kind of wish that if you kept any of them alive, it would trigger some sort of special dialogue at some point after the battle that would show their reactions upon learning of their superior's deaths. Imagine how heartbreaking would Effie's dialogue be upon seeing Elise's deceased body.
The game never discusses how Arthur became Elise's retainer, but I'd imagine he'd be pretty devastated too. Probably not as sad as Effie's would be though.
And man, writing this just makes me feel bad how I kept Saizo alive and not Kagero when I beat Chapter 25 of Conquest. Saizo greatly values Ryoma, with their supports revealing that he doesn't even care if he gets a low payroll because of it; as long as he serves Ryoma, he feels very happy and content with his life, and that just shows how much Saizo looks up to him. Imagine Saizo's reaction upon hearing about Ryoma's death. Probably would be just as heartbreaking.
TL:DR - Whether or not you keep the retainers alive or not, it's going to be heartbreaking either way. Killing them is already sad, but it's just as sad thinking about how they would react when they find out about their superior's death, especially when thinking about Effie's reaction to Elise's death and remembering her backstory. Just something to think about.
Congrats, and that's pretty lucky! Gaia runs on full odds as far as I know! So you got lucky! It's a great hack to! One of my favorites at the moment. Have fun playing it!Yay, I got my first shiny starter and I wan't even looking for one!..... But, of course, only in this hack that I just started playing. (Pokemon gaia.)
My luck only activates when it technically doesn't count. : ^ ) Oh well, at least it's one of my favorite starter lines.
I remember when I randomly got a Shiny Turtwig from GTS for a Wurmple (I was trying to trade a Turtwig from OR to Y and only way to do it was GTS). I was overjoyed... and then I saw it's Poke Ball and realised it was fake.Yay, I got my first shiny starter and I wan't even looking for one!..... But, of course, only in this hack that I just started playing. (Pokemon gaia.)

Some say Nintendo are done with Wii U because only Zelda is at E3.

Well, considering the asinine videos they show at my workHere's the worst thing I've heard about Minions: My mom had a meeting at work and they put on a video about teamwork... starring the Minions... Grown Men and Women in the workplace being forced to watch a god damn Minions teamwork video, it's disgusting.
I've been hearing mostly good things from Turtles fans.Has anyone seen that new Ninja Turtles movie yet?
Is it worst than the first Bay Turtles
Not Dialga.Pretty case by case...so far Groudon and Kyogre (and dialga to an extent) are the only Pokemon to have Primal reversions...then you have Hoopa who then becomes Hoopa Unbound which is it's true form...that is basically a Primal form though it's a different case since it didn't lose it's power it's just contained...
I'm most likely be getting VII since I never played that one, and I am considering getting VIII even though I already have it on PS2.Anyone else excited for Dragon Quest 7/8?
I want to be. But I've never played DQ aside from Heroes so I'm a little reserved on it.Anyone else excited for Dragon Quest 7/8?
I heard it was much better than the first but there's still much room for improvment in some areas. And that there was also way too much exposition. And the turtles were good, but the side characters could've been much better. And don't expect much from shredder, he doesn't really do anything.Has anyone seen that new Ninja Turtles movie yet?

What about Bebop and Rocksteady? They seem to be more the main feature as villains goI heard it was much better than the first but there's still much room for improvment in some areas. Helicopter travel is sometime I predicted before this last info. However the boats seem to be the main travel, but with things like the volcano GX pointed out, it looks like it could still happen. They thought there appeared to be no way up there, and so maybe soaring will happen. Helicopters could be a smart way of replacing this feature actually. Saves time for developing them. I think it could happen.
The cults idea could be really good to. I actually really like the plus and minus rumor, that being one of the reasons why. With a region like Hawaii that could work well, especially with the ancient civilization. It give me insurgence vibes, which is one of my favorite fangames at the moment, so it would be pretty hype for me. I just don't know how they would handle it without it being non child friendly. But it could probably work.
The pair of stairs have a lot of potential. I think that as you said, it be a good step up from XY's underground base. We could get some nice visuals and designs for it to. I'd love to see what they do with it. The plasma frigate was a pretty nice hideout idea, so I'd love another non traditional one for this game as well. As for the backwards waterfall, I don't see it either. The starting island has one, but it's not a landmark and doesn't flow backwards. Perhaps there is a secret island completely hidden? I have to see which Hawaiian Island has the waterfall. Perhaps it's a secret post game island. Maybe there you can go to the battle frontier or the new facility the backpacker mentioned, as well as see the backwards waterfall? Maybe it will have a legendary in a cave at the top or something like that?
I also don't see a moondial. There may not be one, or we me not just see it on the map to keep it a surprise potentially.
And great ideas for MK8 tracks! And sorry for a late reply, I couldn't get on at all yesterday, but still wanted to discuss this!
Those images look interesting since they look those concept artworks we've seen them do. Rowlet's evolution looks pretty cool with the archery motif going on, and even Popplio and Litten's evolutions look neat (though the Litten one kind of worries me, as it'd be another Fire/Fighting type). I'm still going to remain skeptical about them until we hear more information about the games though. These were linked in the Sun and Moon thread:

Outside of the few with actual legit criticisms. Like the many AMV's out there, some are just poorly made and boring. Just throwing up a picture of a game and putting up a song(and I'm not talking about the OST of the game here) is lazy. If you're going to make a GMV or AMV, put actual scenes from the game/anime/movie/etc.Youtube comments are absolute garbage, though. Just people fighting with each other over the smallest of things.
If the boats remain the main source of travel between islands (which I'm sure will be the case), I think that would make the helicopters unlockable sometime later in the game. I mean, you couldn't access the soaring feature until you took care of Primal Ground/Kyogre, so perhaps the helicopters could be some sort of late game feature, probably wouldn't be unlocked until you reach the third island since it's the one that has the most emphasis on that.
I have a hard time imagining how they'd make the cults fit within a E rating, especially since the Plus and Minus rumors hinted your rival character/friend had to sacrifice himself just for the sake of the world, but I'm sure Gamefreak would find a way to make the cult fit within the right ESRB rating. I mean, Ghetsis straight up attempts to kill you in Black2/White2, and N saves you right at the moment you were about to be killed, and the games are still rated E. Then in X/Y, we saw genocide playing a big part in the story, though they still managed to keep it PG for that E rating.
I think it's possible the backwards waterfall could be located in a secret island. It'd even make a fitting location for a legendary to be caught since this waterfall would be very unique. Perhaps the legendary could be located behind the waterfall, and maybe this legendary could be connected to all waterfalls in general. I think this waterfall could also look fitting in the new Battle Facility being speculated about.
Yeah, Alola might not have a moondial, but some people are speculating it's in Alola because of the how the games are called Sun and Moon, and there was a sundial in Anistar City, so fans want a moondial in Alola so that it'd be further proof we can explore Kalos in the postgame. They could definitely keep the moondial a secret in the Alola official artwork just for the sake of surprise though. Maybe it's located on a secret island that's only accessible in the postgame? We'll see.

I don't know. Only thing I've seen on it, is that supposedly people commented and playfully teased him( in a non vicious way) that he looked like Kuiki and he got upset and shut them down. Which imo is stupid. Regardless the reason, if your a youtuber and can't handle comments, then don't be a youtuber. Its simple to ignore them, and it's pointless to shut them down. It's kind of part of being a youtuber. Especially since you get feedback, and actual fans look to give you positive words. Why the hell does JWittz disable comments

Well, as stated above, Litten's may not be fire and fighting. Solgaleo was thought to be fire but that didn't happen.Rowlet and popplio evos look neat. (Archers always get my seal of approval. Popplio is the seal [of approval] so)
Litten would be fire fighting so automatic no from me.

I would assume that after the massive uproar over Game Freak going for Fire/Fighting starters three generations in a row that sheer business sense would have spooked them away from trying again. These were linked in the Sun and Moon thread:

What was the controversy? I might be out of the loop, but I don't remember No Man's Sky having a big controversy, other than the load times which was a relatively minor thing. Did something new happen? It's most likely in the credits. Just listening it, definitely
