If Nintendo actually used one if their ideas. Or their own idea that happened to look like someone else's.

Potentially hell raised and lawsuits as the artist demands credit/ compensation

Nintendo might go out of their way to avoid looking like an other artists work, stifling their designs

For real though I always thought Raichu would make for a pretty good Pika clone. Where as Pichu was all about faster yet self-inflicting attacks I think Raichu would be a slower Pikachu with much powerful attacks in addition to having healing capabilities. The only problem is that Pichu fans would be livid with Raichu's inclusion. These people can't catch a break as it is lol.

Cause they don't want a Electric Shock Showdown 2.0. If Raichu ever gains a Mega Evolution, you know it would happen. And I bet even the developers doubt that Pikachu could ever beat a Mega Raichu.

I find them alright, just as long as they don't take too much screen time unlike the Minions film.

Just like with the Rabbids, they are obvious kid appeal characters with little enjoyability and annoy the hell out of me whenever they appear.

So I'm fine with them in small doses, but too much of them hurts my soul. This is why I hated the Minions film compared to the main DM films.
