In other news, I've caught up with Pokemon XY&Z. Part 1 of the Kalos League Finals featuring Ash vs Alain is tomorrow.

This episode was dialogue heavy, but it was still interesting. Mairin meets Ash and company, and while she has returned to her cheerful self for the most part, she still felt heartbroken looking at Clemont's Chespin since she was reminded of her Chespin. We also see Sawyer looking at past Kalos League matches, and there's a part where he breaks down in tears thinking how he could've beaten Ash, even going a little crazy. Malva messes around with Alain, while Ash and Lysandre meet for the first time. Team Flare has also started their grand plan by infiltrating the Prism Tower and mounting Z2 and some Zygarde Cells inside. Can't wait for tomorrow!

Johto has more megas than Sinnoh. (Edit: Third highest across all 6 regions. Understandable when Hoenn got the remake and Kanto... is Kanto.)
And it had the second lowest additions to a dex.

So I headed to the LUCUA Osaka where the Kirby Cafe was just a few hours ago
You need tickets (which are handed out) to get a seat, and today's all ran out (if not more), and since we're leaving tomorrow I won't have a chance to try the food (it's French cafe style based on what the cafe normally serves)
At least we got a few quick photos from outside, with queue and adorable Cafe Kirby plush:

The official shop also has tickets for it but luckily we got some for about four hours' time and I'll probably post once we've had a good look there

Pokemon does keep track of where the pokemon was captured

They could easily just make it so that only Alola caught pokemon evolve into the new forms
