So who is ready for fo dat Pokémon news tomorrow?

If I had to guess what we might see, I bet we'll get some focus on early routes Pokémon, some characters, and MAYBE a Mega Evolution or two.

Sucks I have to be at work when it happens live #FirstWorldProblems

People in Nintenzone miss a joke, try to argue because of it, and act like higher life forms because of it.

This thread gets stupid all the time though. It's why we had 4 mods at the same time at one point. :p (not really)

And this is why you don't get involved with memes kids.

Gets you into unnecessary internet arguments

Stay in school kids. Don't do memes. Eat your fruits and vegetables.
You say as there's literally a meme in your sig. (slip that toad).:p

Apparently sometime between 20 years and 50,000 years the solar system will leave a giant gas cloud in space and that could effect the sun dramatically.

Jokes are funny, I think that was the problem.

That and also that I transform into a super salty, aggresive and offensive monster when someone says something bad about the Kirby franchise or Bandana Dee, specially when the insult is not true.

I'm sorry, I didn't want to offend you or the other Sonic fans here.

There are a lot of things predicted to happen to Earth, our Solar System, and the galaxy itself long after our lives have come to an end.

The Milky Way and Andromeda Galaxy are predicted to collide and fuse with each other for example. The Andromeda Galaxy is one of the closest galaxies to the Milky Way, and it's getting even closer by the hour as it's slowly traveling towards us. Granted, it isn't believed this will cause many if any major changes to the planets themselves, but a lot celestial objects will be thrown around and scattered, and individual collisions between stars and other objects from the two galaxies are believed to be unlikely, but even still, two separate galaxies colliding with each other seems like a pretty major event if you ask me.

And before that even happens, the Sun is supposed to enter a Red Giant phase billions of years from now....I uh, don't exactly like talking about that one. :p

So I know a lot of people didn't like the first WWE Scooby Doo movie( although a lot did to), it's getting a Sequel.

Not sure about this.... It looks like it tries to be wacky races while trying not to be at the same time. ( although a wacky races movie with the scooby doo crew and maybe WWE and more could be funny.). It's a strange premise. And no John Cena is surprising, I would of liked him in this. He's funny in the first one. Probably won't watch it, but what are your thoughts on this?

It was a youtube video

It might have been purposely trying to make it seem scary
Yeah, that's likely the case.

Fear-mongers. >_>

Well, we do have a lot of time to become a space-faring species before that.

We managed to go from primitive tree-dwelling apes to intelligent moon-walking (pun intended) apes in just a million years (or 0.02% of the age of the sun), so we might be space colonisers in just a few thousand years.

The new things I bought with my birthday money! <3

I also got a Hot Topic coupon and a digital code for Birthright, it was a really good deal! Note I haven't gotten a new 3DS yet, so I can't play the games yet. My brother plans to use his money for the YW 2DS bundle on June 6th. I'm looking forward to watching Rick and Morty for the first time.

I finally went and got Project X Zone 2.

I'll probably get to it at some point soon. My family is going on a trip to Chicago on the weekend so I might start it then.

In other news, I just finished TPDP a second time...and I already kinda want to start another run.

To note, stating stuff like "memes are better than Sonic games and I'm not joking" is pretty trollsy. I responded the way I did to tease you whilst making it obvious, but yeah it never ends up well saying such comments, especially when people do like a certain franchise, such as yourself with Kirby and getting upset at such remarks.

This is a concept that's always intrigued me. I don't know how far we'll get with space travel outside of own solar system in the next few thousands years, but being able to reach a place like Mars would be a pretty nice first step in that process.

Mars is also a perfect candidate for space colonization, as it is a close plant that is believed to have once been a lot like the Earth, with a similar atmosphere loaded with water. Mars has two permanent polar ice caps, which could potentially be heated up, giving the cold dry planet flowing water yet again. If this process began within the next few years, we could eventually terraform Mars, making it suitable for life like on Earth. In this scenario Mars would look very much like Earth itself.

It's a shame most of us probably won't get to see such a long but incredible process happen in our lifetimes, but I think the possibility for it is definitely there. I'm just looking forward to seeing mankind land on Mars at all.

I'm going to give my 2 week notice at work today

I don't really have a plan B, but for my health's sake (Mental health in the very least) I think it's for the best

I don't know if I have to write a resignation letter I'll ask today I guess

Encountered my first Zeta Metroid damn thing kicked my ass but I managed to kill it, then encountered two other Metroids...For the past ten minutes I've been wandering around trying to avoid dying since my health is below 50 (with the damn constant beeping) enemies are dropping almost no Health pick-ups and there's hazards everywhere...

Then I find an Energy Tank...

Notice anything odd about this screenshot? I was actually able to adjust which character silhouettes will appear whenever you're in the Sounds menu. Here, Yoshi's silhouette is present while a Super Mario World music track is being played; normally, Yoshi gets the cold shoulder if you're not playing a music track from the Yoshi's Island series.

I think it's reasonable to expect a human landing on Mars within our lifetime, even if we may be quite old by then.

The main issue is actually, oddly enough, the lack of a motivation. A mission like that would obviously cost a huge amount of money, which many would argue can be better spent elsewhere.

Back in the 60s, the biggest motivating factor to put man on the moon was actually political. Whoever did it would get some serious bragging rights internationally.

Since the 90s, NASA's budget had been reduced, and space research in general has shifted from sending people into space to exploration by unmanned probes. To the point the NASA retired the Space Shuttle sometime ago.

I think setting a base on the moon might actually be more achievable than sending someone to Mars, now that I think about it.

Yeah, but if we did that, we'd end up getting in a war with the Lunarians, probably. Last thing we want is to start a fight with a bunch of Moon Rabbits.
