I can't see why it would need it. The game doesn't even give you a screen where you accept the permissions either.

Apparently, the game still works fine if you revoke access, though (and it doesn't do this in the first place on Android).

I don't know how they would have managed to let it happen but I'm thinking it's a bug.

I watched the newest episode of XY&Z.

So the writers are rushing through the League this time. Instead of showing the top 32 matches, we are shown the top 8 instead. That Ash vs Astrid battle? Yeah, we only see 30 seconds of the fight. All we see is Ash's Hawlucha defeating Astrid's Mega Absol, and it was apparently her last Pokemon, allowing Ash to win and proceed to the top 4. We also know that Alain is in the top 4 as well.

Most of the episode focuses on Tierno vs Sawyer...

This battle was a lot better than the Alain vs Trevor one. For all the Aegislash fans here, you'll enjoy this episode. Aegislash had some pretty good moments, most notably taking out Tierno's Ludicolo using the good ol' OP Swords Dance Physical Sweeper strategy. Raichu surprisingly had some good moments as well. It took out Sawyer's Aegislash. Tierno makes a smart call in withdrawing Raichu when it gets affected by Attract from Sawyer's Slurpuff. He then sends out Blastoise to take out Slurpuff.

Sawyer then summons his Sceptile, which now has a scarf around its neck with its Mega Stone to the side. It doesn't take very long for Sceptile to take out Blastoise, thus forcing to Tierno to use Raichu. At that moment, Sawyer Mega Evolves his Sceptile, and from there, Sceptile gives Raichu a good run for its money and defeats it.

The Top 4 is now confirmed to be Ash vs Sawyer and Alain vs Remo (the Mega Garchomp trainer that Alain fought in Mega Evolution Act I). At this point, battles will now be 6 v 6 instead of 3 v 3.

Oh yeah, the end of the episode reveals who Ash's 6th Pokemon will be...

No new episode for this week because the Magearna movie comes out this Saturday in Japan's theaters. They revealed a new five minute trailer for the upcoming movie for those that are interested. Just as a heads up, it's only in Japanese, but it does show us some clips from the movie.

Next week, we will be watching the top 4 match featuring Ash and Sawyer. It is confirmed that Ash vs Sawyer is going to be a two-parter. It's also confirmed that Sawyer has a Slaking on his team.

Yeah but the Orange League was Exclusive to the Anime (alongside the whole Orange Archipielago thing) so i didn't count that.

Ash has still to win a Pokémon Leauge that's based on the games. Ash was at Top 4 AT BEST.

The Indigo Plateau League was won by an Unnamed trainer.
The Silver Conference was won by Joe Dickson (yeah that's his name)
The Ever Grande Conference was won by Tyson.
The Lilly of the Valley Conference was won by Tobias.

And lastly, the Vertress Conference was won by Virgil.

At least the writers are making things look like Ash will have a better League experience this time. At the rate this is going, he's probably going to beat Sawyer and advance into the finals, and in the probable chance Ash loses the finals? Tbh, Miles and Kamala makes sense as a ship more so than Miles and Gwen.

The only time they could have met was during Spider-Verse, and even then I'm not sure if they even talked to each other that much.

Someone on /r/Marvel also pointed out that Gwen also happens to be 19 and in college and Miles is 15 and in high school. Unless Bendis says that he turned 16 during the 8 month gap between Secret Wars and ANAD Marvel, then that would be ok... but 16 and 19 is still pushing it tbh.

also after reading Game & Watch info I now have the headcanon of Mr. Game & Watch having a Russian cousin based off the Elektronika-IM series (many games being based off Game & Watch titles) who takes the appearance of the spacemen from Space Bridge (much like how Mr. Game & Watch resembles the denizens from Fire) and drinks himself happy because of most of his Russian-made friends are just knockoffs of other products
