I'm somewhat surprised that only Sky is coming over yet Time and Darkness aren't, though that's probably because Sky's more or less the definitive version.

Yoooo you guys should get Sky if you haven't yet.

I own the original cartridge, so I'm not really under pressure to get it, but if you haven't tried it then it's basically the standard that I'm pretty sure all the other Mystery Dungeon games are being held to.

Plus the NX may not have dual screen, so this may be your last opportunity to get it at an affordable price.

Too bad my ridiculously overinflated fantasies and fears about the NX mean I'm incredibly picky about what I spend my spare cash on until I see what the launch selection and system price for it is, or I might at least consider getting one of the GBA/early DS ones.

Mini Rant: How ****ing long will it take for your father to fix the AC? It shouldn't be hard nor expensive to do so!

Dumb rant aside, glad you got half of the volumes for now. Just start reading them and you'll be in for a surprise (other than the slow start that already got animated). You are going to love Akuma (Tofig) when you see her, she will definitely serve as Sonic's (Gear) teacher halfway through the story. She's just as mysterious as the real deal.

I'm not gonna say it's perfect, because there's a chance of you having a different playstyle preference than that which the game would cater to. What I will say is that I enjoyed it personally, and I would recommend it to anyone I don't know the playstyle preferences of.

If you ever do try Sky, just be sure to let yourself relax and enjoy the cute little story for what it is.

It's neat that Mortal Kombat's Ed Boon is open to the idea of a Mortal Kombat & Killer Instinct crossover.

Do I think we'll see something of such anytime soon? Absolutely not for a number of reasons:

• He's obviously too busy with Injustice 2 & *maybe* the MKXL Kombat Pack 3.
• It doesn't take much to post your interests when you're on Twitter, even if you're a game maker.
• Like he said, the fact it had to be Xbox exclusive probably puts it on low priority.

I just appreciate that it's not impossible. It's just not likely now or soon.

I saved the file that ended up with him though because it honestly looks kinda cool.

IF you haven't played Sky, and Blue/Red, buy both. They are great.

Anyway, I went over to my friend's house today. My other firend was also there. After matches on Smash Wii U, we switched to Melee. Which I haven't played in at least 8 years.

And we did this:

It was amazingly fun.

We beat it with a ganondorf, fox, Ice Climbers, as well as Ganondorf, Young Link, and Donkey Kong.

It was super fun!

I don't know, I've always gotten a Naruto vibe out of it. But you are definitely spot on about the two being similar.

Yeah, the only things the anime messed up was overexaggerating the out of context scenes for fanservice (like Ramses' reaction to Gear's battle royale) and rushing the important scenes (Tial didn't get enough development before you know....). Like I said earlier, the story will definitely get better later on. This is only the beginning of this war.

On GBATemp, there was an infamous troll named RyanRocks who always gloated and tried to fake things. He was eventually banned from there, but I think he would have the guts to do that kind of thing.

How I could tell it was him was when NWPlayer123 responded to one of his tweets about "assistance" while is twitter account was protected. So... yeah, he would seem like that type of person to do such a thing.

That's why I was Machhamp in Blue, and my Partner a Blaziken. Those kecleons didn't see it coming. Never recruited any sadly. I tried though. In sky they are very hard to fight without special items.

People who played the E3 demo of KH 2.8 are saying that the 0.2 portion (where you play as Aqua) feels much more like KH2 with it's combat physics, as opposed to BBS and DDD.

Which is really good, as I REALLY disliked how BBS's combat felt. It's still a good game and I like the story a lot, but the combat was such a step down.

I don't own the game though, but that's what I heard.

As someone who has played all of them, buy Sky, and Red or Blue first. SMD brings in characters from all those games( as well as Gates to Infinity). It's best to play the others first imo as it's a good way to start the series. Then when doing missions in SMD, it adds a lot more value to them imo, as you recruit the characters from eacch entry, and by playing past ones, you can learn their in depth backstories and it feels more complete.

Every entry on Vc and SMD are great though, as is GTI, but it's the weakest in the series.
