So, this sudden amiibo announcement made me thought of something.....

Out of all the Nintendo franchises/series/games we have right now, which one will be the next one to get its own line of amiibo?

Right now we have Smash, Mario (including Super Mario Maker), Splatoon, Zelda, Kirby, Chibi-Robo, Yoshi's Woolly World, Animal Crossing and Shovel Knight. Which one could be next?

Let's not forget that they did showcase this game a lot at last year's e3...it appears there's not much that has changed so there really wasn't any point to showing it again...

Federation Force isn't exactly a big enough game for it to get shown off two e3's in a row...even if it didn't get all the hate that it did...

Well I made a mock up of Super Mario series Rosalina a month ago, so hopefully that's a sign that I am an amiibo prophet.

Because then I can have these.

Really though, in terms of franchises, I see Fire Emblem getting amiibo. I mean they made it one of their major franchises, and there aren't any other major franchises without amiibo except for Pokemon (but that's more on the Pokemon Company). It would also he perfect considering that they have so many characters.

In terms of third parties, Sonic will always genuinely stick out as the most likely candidate in terms of big franchises. But I could also see a Yooka-Laylee amiibo happening, as well as more Shovel Knight characters. Yokai-Watch could also get some too.

Hey, it's Nintendo fans.

This isn't really unprecedented after people tried to get Wii Fit Trainer removed from Smash via petition after she was already worked on enough to be presentable via trailer and thus obviously not going anywhere.

These people clearly don't understand the concept of "if it's already mostly complete with almost all of the money of production sunk into it already, we're going to lose less money just getting it out there than we would by pulling it."

It depends which Mario you're talking because Super Mario line Mario is pretty freaking common compared to Smash Mario.

Time to see what type of ending it will get. It will unfortunately not be as good as Gravity Falls because of Disney killing the good things too soon.

It has had 2 seasons like GF but they are 15 minute episodes for the most part,so I hope that even with shorter time frames, it can work. The setup has been good and I wonder what will happen in the end.

Sometimes when I'm not imagining hilarious nerd trolling I imagine him in a bit of a crew.

It's still unconventional, though. Maybe more of a social web than anything else.

Sonic hangs out with Mega Man a bit, and then Pit tags along because he likes Mega Man and starts interacting quite a bit with Sonic (oh Pit says the wrong thing sometimes but Sonic lets it go because he knows Pit gets trashed by everyone else already and piling on would just be tacky), and then Mega Man also hangs out with Shulk a lot but Shulk is a bit less connected to the other two.

And then maybe Alvis just randomly drops in from time to time and everyone gets confused, but Mega Man figures out right away why the heck he's there and acts surprised when no one else realizes it.
