Shrek needs more movies, then we can talk about a new game. :troll:
This. Dreamworks need to stop milking Kung Fu Panda and How To Train Your Dragon and bring back their most legendary CGI films. Shrek is miles better than Po or Hiccup when you compare to the to him. Because he is love as much as he's life. :troll:

Welp. Looks like some misinformation was just found out that I kind of want to report on.

1.) The photos that were found in the press kit for Zelda Wii U that appear to be 4k seem be artwork possible rendered on a PC.

2.) The NX "this fall" timeline the GM of Nintendo of Canada made might have been a mistranslation.

I'll update you guys if anything comes out of these or if these are incorrect.
I have the press kit too.

While it's possible the screenshots in the "Artwork" folder may just be PC rendered images (and I did report on the difference between the "Artwork" and "Screenshots" folder yesterday already, I didn't spread any misinformation), and most likely are, these PC rendered images may still be of the NX version. The graphical fidelity is notably better in those images, and they are in 4K - Nintendo NEVER releases images above the resolution of the actual game (if a game doesn't run at native 1080p, they usually have the screenshots in 1280x720, for example), and what's more, their PC rendered screenshots never have a higher graphical fidelity than the actual game anyway.

So the only two possibilities for what those screenshots are that they are either PC rendered of the NX version, or taken from a debug camera in the NX version, running on the NX. Either way, the screenshots are clearly renders of the game environment in some way (one of them is even of the cutscene where Link gets out of the Shrine of Resurrection), and they look better than the Wii U version we saw. Nintendo never said these screenshots are from the Wii U version, but if they did, it would be false advertising, which is illegal. Hence why they have never done it before.

So those images in the "Artwork" folder have to be of the NX version. They are not promotional CGI renders akin to say, the renders for Smash characters on the CSS, or akin to what some games for box art. They are not some kind of 2D artwork either. They are clearly in-engine. Whether or not the 4K aspect of it is from them just rendering it up to that on PC, or from this being a debug camera shot from an actual NX remains to be seen, but either way, those screenshots are definitely what we can expect from the NX version. Listing it as "Artwork" is just their way of getting around false advertising it to be the Wii U version.

@Zoroarking I'd like your tears to go please
Why should I cry? People are wanting an EO character in Smash!
I'm just offended they are calling it new! 'Cause I'll tell you, it has been around for longer than those Xenoblades!

Someone replied to me with the stupidest comment ever. I wondered why Yokai Watch 3 has stupid things like a hamburger yokai and cheerleader yokai while taking place in America. Yokai are primarily based on Japanese mythologic creatures, although it has strayed from that. The latest one takes place in America so why not have mythological creatures that Americans are familiar with?

Someone replied that Yokai Watch is primarily about Japanese culture and style. Then WHY HAVE A GAME TAKE PLACE IN AMERICA. And how is having a hamburger Yokai and a Cheerleader Yokai ANY MORE JAPANESE.

Couldn't they just say ALL mythological creatures are Yokai and style them like Yokai? Instead of making stupid American stereotypes Yokai?

Considering all of the cat-like Yokai, and now we have a burger Yokai, does that mean the YW3 localisation will be filled with "I CAN HAZ CHEEZBURGER???" memes? :p

And surprising no one, Ash is likely getting Mega Charizard Y (unless it's Trevor's).
It's not Ash's.

There's an episode dedicated to Ash soon to enter a full 6-on-6 battle with only the 5 Pokémon he has on him, so he would need to quickly get his sixth entrant for the competition (most likely Goodra).

And before you ask "then wouldn't that be Charizard?", this takes place AFTER the Mega Charizard duel.

At this point, Ash's "Mega" Pokémon is Ash-Greninja.
It's Trevor's somehow. And his mega stone is in his camera apparently.

Yokai in Yokai Watch were never strictly bound to being the actual Japanese mythological creatures, but more explanations for humans engaging in various behaviors. Hence "Yokai is why" and all that jazz.

Yokai Watch 3 probably has those weird choices because they want to have explanations for why people crave hamburgers and act like airheaded cheerleaders. It's still stereotypes, it's just that the idea was likely to explain why the stereotypes happen as opposed to having any kind of mythological value, the same as a lot of the original Yokai were more about explaining why certain things happen than about being actual traditional Yokai.

But if it's mythologic creatures doing it in Japan, why in America is it just modern stereotypes?

Couldn't an American ghost be the one possessing people? Native American spirit in the very least?

Christ. I'm slow. And nobody told me Q.Q

Also, I was walking through the mall and I noticed something about a newspaper. BotW was on the front page with a picture of Link's Smash 4 art. I don't know about you, but BotW being on the front page of a regular newspaper, as in, not specifically for gamers, is impressive to me

I'm not familiar with the Yokai in 3, so I can't really answer that. If not all of them have been shown off, maybe there are a couple of mythological ones hidden in there.

I just know that while there are many mythological Yokai in the original game, I'm pretty sure at least a few of them were original creations for the game with no basis in mythology.

I just realized we didn't get any new Mario Maker costumes for E3. I would have expected at least one. At least we might get amiibo costumes I guess
Clean's got more than enough potential for an interesting moveset, so it'd be neat to see what they do with it. I personally want Magic, Missle and Animal back now that Mirror returned

That one Yo-Kai reminds me of Brook's decapitated skull with a rainbow afro.

I can't unsee that at all.

So today, for NA emails are randomly given out to for the Monster Hunter Generations demo. But if your in europe, you can just download it. Though for NA the demo will be avaible on June 30th anyway.

Or at least that's how I interpretted the news, the news articles made it a bit confusing. Also, this demo doesn't have a use limit, which I really appreciate. Now I just got to wait for my Mom to give me her email password so I can check if my little brother got a code or two.

Death Note
JoJo Bizarre Adventure
HunterXHunter

Here's the first one that come to my mind. They're pretty good.

Edit: Oh sorry didn't read well.

Start with One Punch Man, it's hilarious and only 12 episodes, then watch Stein Gates, amazing and 26 episodes, then Full Metal Alchemist, than Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood.

It IS a bit much. . .

. . .Wait.

Is one of them supposed to represent why you always lose that one sock in the dryer?

It may not be mythological, but if I'm correct in assuming that then that still fits the intention of Yokai Watch really, really well.

And there's what I think is a paparazzo? Is that meant to explain why people feel compelled to chase others for autographs? His design kind of vaguely reminds me of Chatalie, what with looking almost like a person but still having some obvious things off, as well as having some kind of accessory.

And wait. . .is there a fairy godmother in there?

They may have went a bit overboard on it, especially with the sheer amount of food, but I'm still seeing things here and there that really remind me of the kind of mood Yokai Watch has.

Is this all the ones that are known though, or are there more? Because I don't see any ones mixed in that would have roles along the lines of, say, Kyubi. The extra strong cool ones you don't get until you've made ludicrous amounts of progress. These all just seem like the base encounters. And then there's the question of what the bosses are going to be, too.

ChikoLad ChikoLad So I'm watching that smash mod video you posted.

Quick question( and anyone else who knows can answer to if you know it)

So from what this youtuber is saying, does this mean that Smash modding works like how you could get hackless project m? In which you put the files on there and then put it in the wii u? Just wanted to know before watching the rest as I don't want to actually install homebrew on my wii u.
You don't install anything on your Wii U. You use a web browser exploit. So effectively yes, it's like hackless Project M.

http://loadiine.ovh/gate.php

Basically to load things like Homebrew Launcher (for various things, but in this case, you need it to dump your game), and SDCafiine (the thing used for loading Smash mods from your SD card), you need to go to the above URL from your Wii U Web Browser (just Google "loadiine" from your Wii U Web Browser and it's the third result. Make sure to bookmark it too if you're gonna play Smash mods regularly).

This website allows you to boot up these programs without actually installing them permanently on your Wii U. Homebrew Launcher is something you only need to use once for Smash modding. Every other time you're just using SDCafiine (which is essentially a program that takes you less than a minute to be finished with each time).

Be aware though, dumping your game will take like, half a day, if not nearly a whole day. So you're best starting this process early in the morning, or if you're willing to leave your systems on overnight then that's another option. Alternatively, you COULD just download a game dump from the internet if you don't want to bother going through Homebrew Launcher, but since distribution of those is illegal, I'm not linking to anything here so you'll have to sort that out on your own if you go this route (I admittedly took this route myself, though this was because I misunderstood what dumping your game would entail - I thought I'd need to buy a Blu-Ray disc reader, when it turns out you do it using your internet connection. Really bizarre to me, but it works). There are also risks with this route, like going to a fishy site and downloading the dump from there.

Once you dump the game, there is a program you can download to your PC called Uwizard, and you will have to use this to download a dump of the latest update data for Smash Wii U. You need this to play your mods on the latest version, and to be able to mod DLC content.

Once you've got those two steps out of the way, you are pretty much done with the initial set up, and that's the hard stuff out of the way. After that, you're just setting up Smash Explorer (this program allows you to explore the dumped files, and you can drag your mods into the correct folders to mod the game - this is why you need to get a dump of the game and the update data), and downloading/making your mods and putting them in. Smash Explorer then allows you to create a "mod package", and you do that. Then it will prompt you to copy it to your SD card (which also needs certain folders set up in advance, which you can see in the video). It's at this point you put your SD card in the Wii U, and load up that URL I linked to. After that, select SDCafiine, boot it up, do what needs to be done there, and then launch your game, mods and all. You need to boot up SDCafiine every time you want to play with mods, which is handy, as it means you can still play the vanilla game with ease.

If you have any questions or want me to walk you through it, then PM me, but I can only go over so much in public for legal reasons.

I'll look into those to see if I should add them to the list.

But which one should I start watching now?

I only watched Avatar, Legend of Korra, Sword Art Online and Nichijou lol.
GL is a mecha anime that has about 27 episodes and is made by the guys who did KLK iirc
Jojo is still going, but Part 1 has 8 episodes, 2 has 18 episodes, 3 has 48 and 4 is getting 39, the Parts are less like seasons and more lime different shows as they have different characters
Panty & Stocking was made by the guys who did KLK after they got drunk and watched Family Guy. Could be considered Japan's South Park

Anyone who is a fan of Gainax should see this crazy show. Because not doing so is against the ~ruuuuurrruuuuus!
