I saw Wonder Woman sucking from a mile away. From what I saw, people thought it'd be good because it's not so much of a dark tone and more of a fun, action movie.

But the problem with DC films isn't that the movies are 'dark', it's that they are so poorly put together and structured. While Marvel movies succeed critically even with their weaker movies because the movies are at least competently made.

I also do think the Wii was a fantastic console. Obviously it wasn't great from a power perspective, but ere were tons of undeniably great games.

Wii, Mario Kart Wii, Mario Strikers Charged, Mario Super Sluggers, Donkey Kong Country Returns, Wario Land: Shake It!, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, Metroid Prime 3: Corruption and the Metroid Prime Trilogy, Kirby Return to Dream Land, Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn, Pikmin 1 and 2 Remasters, Mario Power Tennis Remaster, Punch-Out!!, Xenoblade Chronicles, Animal Crossing: City Folk, Wii Sports Resort, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Sin and Punishment: Star Successor, a slew of virtual console games, and the ability to play GameCube titles...and all this is only taking the Nintendo made titles into account. Nintendo-wise all it was missing was an Orre Pokémon game, as far as I'm concerned.

But yeah, pretty spot on.

I suppose the support would be nice. But I don't really see many people making a big deal about Madden games in these past few years, at least compared to the PS360 days. The audience is and still is there. The thing is that it only exist in one part of the world.

FIFA has the advantage of being a lot more global because Soccor fans are massively larger thanks to Europe, South America, Asia and Africa on top of North America as well.

Madden only has one controlled continent of its popularity and it's ONLY North America. Its why EU versions of Madden don't exist as much

Problems with FE6 #2: extremely long maps.
Don't get me wrong, I love some big maps like Cog of Destiny in FE7 or the Jehanna Palace one in FE8 but you get to those maps by the end of the game, when you you have more and stronger units and are reaching the climax of the story, in FE6, however, all maps are big from the start which burns you out quickly from the game and there are no Breather Levels because of that.
Like, jfc, it took me a long ass time to beat chapter 8 and now they throw me in another map that forces you to go to every corner in it. I don't think there's a single map in this game that's one-screen wide.

Accurate.

I'd even go as far as saying you've interpreted my play style fairly accurately with only a few games. Arcade games (one of my favorites) for example, while challenging have a laid back minimalism to them.

Which makes me ask: how huge it too huge?

That's what, a bit less than six miles across the long way? That's not so big at all, a small city would take up most of that.

I swam all the way from Oblivia to Cauldros and it didn't take too horribly long considering, and XCX's map was bigger than this one.

I'm not sure what too huge is, but aside from stuff like PC Minecraft that just goes on for infinity it'll probably take several generations to come even close to an actual realistic world size.

Fortunately I'm more concerned about how much hilarity can ensue in that map than the map size itself, because any game that has to use map size as it's main marketing point is going to come up as pretty pathetic due to how tiny modern day video game maps still are.

*EDIT* Well I guess not on the city thing, large cities are smaller than I thought. Still, this is a very teeny tiny amount of driving distance, so while on foot it's kind of bigger it's still not that horribly big.

At the very least, so long as the land is used to provide a more immersive experience, they can go as large as they want.
