This thread hasn't exactly been actively dismissive, but there's an overwhelming mood of "meh" in terms of the Switch to the point that I'm not sure who exactly is even excited enough to look forward to the presentation or the Switch in any more than a vaguely curious fashion. When I asked "Who's excited for Splatoon Switch?" a while back on this thread I got two or three "Not me" answers before anyone said yes and even then it was only one yes, so I was basing it off of that rather than strictly Switch reception.

You can tell by how fast their Switch thread is moving that they're hyped.

I mean, you can't expect Etika and HMK levels of unadulterated hype from everyone (btw both those guys have Switch celebration streams on right now if you need that kind of thing).

Even the people who have a "meh" attitude might not be excited, simply due to external factors. Some people are just naturally more reserved, especially when it comes to video games. Some people might have other things to do and so are perfectly occupied, therefore not really having time to be hyped and are just gonna watch it when it comes. It isn't necessarily them saying there will be nothing good.

I myself am cautiously optimistic. I think it will, if nothing else, be a good presentation with cool stuff on an objective level, even if the games on display aren't really to my interest. I'm not expecting Nintendo to convince me to get a Switch on launch day, but I am expecting them to convince a lot of other people, if that makes sense.

Until then, I'll keep playing my PS4 Pro in anticipation. Because I'm a gamer first, Nintendo fan...somewhere after that.

I had a dream last night the world was ending soon and I was in this business type area where everyone was trying to stay civil and keep up their normal life. But then I decided that since the world was ending soon, I might as well tell this one girl I found her attractive. However, she was super offended by me saying that it somehow caused a massive war between two factions which just caused people to die earlier

It then cut to years and years later, and the world was still hasn't ended but the war was still going on. But no one knew why they were fighting the war. However, they still believed the world was ending soon.

My top 10 very unrealistic last minute needs that must be met or I will storm Nintendo faster than Donald Trump will storm Mexico to pay for that god forsaken wall:

1. Overwatch Switch with 27 new exclusive costumes and playable Donkey Kong and Bayonetta.
2. Bayonetta 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and Jeanne's spin-off all announced as launch titles. Kamiya revealed dead from being overworked.
   
3. Rosalina announced to take over Mario series. Mario ****ing cancelled and deleted. Super Rosalina Switch announced.
   
4. Reggie taking over the Fit Series. He screams ''YOUR BODY IS NOW READY" and introduces the game.
5. Rare bought back from Microsoft. The employees break out into ''Brand New Day" from the Wiz.
6. Wonderful 102 announced. Kamiya's corpse announces it Weekend at Bernie's style while Trinen and Reggie hold him up.
7. Smash Switch announced with 87 new roster additions, 80 new stages, and 43 new play modes. Mashed Potato Samurai has been cloned to make this possible. Mario removed and deleted. All other veterans return.
   
8. Mario Kart Switch is actually Mario Kart Double Dash's sequel. Mario removed from the game and deleted. Now called Super Rosalina Kart.
   
9. Sonic and Mario crossover revealed. It's called Super Rosalina and Sonic. Mario removed and deleted.
10. Mario removed and deleted. Not because I hate him, but just because I like typing that phrase. It's fun.
