With the Switch presentation in less than 12 hours from now, this video makes for a real nice watch. For all the shortcoming Nintendo has coming as a company, a lot of their best qualities are eloquently summed up here. Mark Brown does plenty of great videos like these, celebrating what makes video games great after all. Please do checkout the channel. It's a nice breaker from the cynicism and cash-grab bandwagon-ism that dominates the gaming sphere of YouTube. As fun it is to dog-pile on easy targets (not really), celebrating the medium and all it's accomplishments is perhaps a little more important and fulfilling, at least in my opinion.

I doubt they can top Mario Kart 9 though, that game was literal perfection with tons of content and 8-player local multiplayer that didn't suck
Just hope they add the DLC characters from 8 back because them being cut in 9 was my only complaint about the game.

Wow, they were working on as many as 10 different games simultaneously? Why did they spread themselves this thin? Over-ambition? Workaholic tendencies?

I suppose ScaleBound's cancellation is a lesson I suppose, to scale (I'm really sorry) down the number of projects they take on.

It doesn't help that they're also not that large of a Studio. There's developers almost triple their size and they only work on one to two games at a time. Meanwhile Platinum is only approx 200. I hear they do it to make sure they have the funds to develop their bigger games.

Lol I remember when half the internet used to stay up till 3 or 4 in the morning just to see a pic of the day involving Luigi's nose sniffing Marth's neck.

I really loved Zootopia. I had no idea what they film was about going into it, so seeing it was going for a political message really surprised me.

I also really loved Moana, the story is pretty formulaic, but the characters, songs, and beautiful animation more than make up for it.

I go back and forth on whether I love one movie more than the other.

My plan is to go to bed a bit earlier than usual (around 10 PM) if I can get myself to sleep. Then I'm gonna wake up at 7 AM and watch the archived presentation. It goes live at 4 AM. Class doesn't start until 9:30 AM and it's a 10-15 minute walk so not only can I watch the presentation, but would still have an hour left to check up on any additional information that comes out separately, listen to discussions/reaction videos, or post my thoughts if I have anything to say about it. Of course I'll get breakfast and all that in between.

I'm not gonna look at any social media beforehand, just gonna get dressed and go straight down to whip out my laptop. I'll also have to cover the suggestions bar of the video to avoid getting spoiled by them.

Wish Nintendo didn't shaft Europe like this so I have to be so meticulous about this, but oh well.
